I'm starting to miss that Sprinkled Chips Ahoy. It was what I used to eat in my elementary school days. Not sure why it discontinued, it should've stayed longer. The last I saw it on grocery shelves was back in 1997.
Born in 1987 here :) I miss the 90's, but I really miss the old Nickelodeon. I'm an only child and I watched a lot of TV--usually tuned to Nick or Disney Afternoon! I would trade all my current channels for a week of the old Nickelodeon, especially my favorite Looney Tunes, and the all the old Nick at Nite shows. Thanks for bringing back some great memories. :)
@jayce79 These toys were from "The New Adventures of He-Man", a short-lived animated TV series produced after "He-Man and the Masters of The Universe" ended.
Man, F.H.E....I remember on weekends as a kid heading to the West Coast Video stores and renting all the tapes which had that opening with the letters spelled out and that music. Such a great rush of memories from all of this.
OMG! I so remember the fhe logo! They were on my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle videos , Santa Clause is Coming to Town , Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer , Frosty the Snowman , and Little Drummer Boy VHS's. Joey Lawerence had just done Oliver and Company 2 years before the coke commercial.
@johntheumfreak This was years before the TV Land network existed...the ad is promoting Nick At Nite, which was a late night programming block on Nickelodeon.
It annoyed my mom to no end that I watched Green Acres & The Beverly Hillbillies. The one she really hated was Homeboys in Outer Space. Had a cat named after Gizmo.
When we first had cable, i didn't know that Nickelodeon was supposed to shift into nick at night, so when it switched at pm, used to try and fine ways to switch it back ti Nickelodeon by screwing with the cable wire, lol.
2:17-2:40... my grandmother had to buy SO many boxes of those damn cookies 'cause I was convinced that was real. My defense, I was not more than 4. God, that was disappointing at that age.
I have no idea of the exact date. The June of 1990 date is just a rough estimate, since that's when "Gremlins 2" came out. I don't have a promo for that special.
The Saturday Night Live sketches are really funny, I really wish they'd bring back sprinkled chips ahoy. I always asked my dad 2 buy them for me and he did
this brings me back...sounds weird to say but it was such a peaceful time back in the 9's, people were not so uptight and no one really worried about looking cool, people let lose and had fun, unlike tv and shit today were everyone is a model and trys to be cool as shit
turtle-rific haha. when rafiel says here's looking at you that reminds me of a program we had in kidnergarten around '95'96 called "Here's Looking at You 2000" about drugs. ....does anyone else remember that?
I liked how Skelator was sort of fuzzy and see-though (I'm not sure what the actual effect is called), so no one would actually think that the kid was actually being attacked (or the Power Sword could actually be used to ward off home invaders). I had almost forgotten that Nick at Nite actually used to run shows from before I was born. Tonight's Nick at Nite lineup--Family Matters, Everyone Hates Chris (from 2008!) and a George Lopez marathon. Bleck.
finally my comments get through, anyway as i wanted to say. Ho-ly, Shiz-nit, Looney tunes used to be on nickelodeon! I dont know when in the 90's this commercial came out but i feel like the last to know. i was born in 94.
4:48 - That's right. They're real, and if you don't see them in front of you right now, it's probably because you haven't bought enough of our products. Would we lie?
...... I remember wanting that He-man power sword more than anything else that Christmas. It's all I asked for. Sadly, the box I thought it was in turned out to be a toy 18 wheeler :(
I miss the 90's....best years of my life!
Hello childhood, it's good to see you again :')
😂😁
It helps to start your film career when you're 42.
Wow June 1990 I was 12 going on 13 in july, I remember these commercials like it was yesterday :)

WOW!!!!!!!! I LOVE THE 90's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aww the ninties... when there were nine planets!
God, Seeing that F.H.E spot brought back so many memories. Back when things were much more simpler. Really hard not to tear up a bit haha.
Man, F.H.E....I remember on weekends as a kid heading to the West Coast Video stores and renting all the tapes which had that opening with the letters spelled out and that music. Such a great rush of memories from all of this.
I was born in 1993 I miss the 90s
+Hannah Strouse you missed almost half of them.
I remember so many of these brings back a ton great memories.
I really miss these days they were the best
I'm sitting here watching this on my iPad. Wow. Times have changed.
Josiah Albright try watching it if you got a smart TV. Might not be the same, but, close to what you'd get watching it like back then!
2:14 "Bueller....Bueller....Bueller....Bueller"
That last one for FHE and the turtles really took me back to when I was a kid. In my old living room in my bean bag chair. Good times.

Ahh, lots of great memories from this commercial set. Especially those Nick bumpers. :)
80's/90's.... when life was good...
Why is everything so bland boring and tasteless anymore??
Sweet. I just watched Gremlins 2 this morning, now the brain gremlin says I should watch it again. Can't argue with that!
wow... people were more active in the early 90's!
these commercials aired when we first finished our house!
2:25 those chips ahoy cookies with sprinkles were the best lol
WoW what great freaking times!!!!!!!!!
OMG the FHE logo! It's so nostalgic that it threatens to pull my into a time warp!
I am from australia, and love watching all of these videos full of american stuff from the nineties.
2:21 I've had Sprinkled Chips Ahoy cookies when they used to be around. They were good.
It annoyed my mom to no end that I watched Green Acres & The Beverly Hillbillies. The one she really hated was Homeboys in Outer Space.
Had a cat named after Gizmo.
Throwback Thursday enjoying watching theses videos taking me back from when I was 4 now I'm 30.
Hehe I miss the 90s
I had the He-Man power sword and I loved playing with it cause it had some cool sounds. I really liked the thunderbolt attack. Awesome sound.
When we first had cable, i didn't know that Nickelodeon was supposed to shift into nick at night, so when it switched at pm, used to try and fine ways to switch it back ti Nickelodeon by screwing with the cable wire, lol.
i remember having a slip and slide.....DAMM those things hert
Memories. The quality is awesome!
sprinkles in Chips Ahoy cookies?!? that sounds so freaking good!
I miss Sprinkled Chips Ahoy so much!
That would be a kick ass thing to bring back Sprinkled Chips Ahoy
Ben Stein was born to play mono-tone teachers!
I lol'd so much at the hula hoops. The guy looked so serious.
2:17-2:40... my grandmother had to buy SO many boxes of those damn cookies 'cause I was convinced that was real. My defense, I was not more than 4. God, that was disappointing at that age.
😂 how a chainsaw was used to cut the cake on that Saturday Night Live's 15th birthday commercial.
Wow....this bring back soo many memories
man slip in slides are dangerous
I have no idea of the exact date. The June of 1990 date is just a rough estimate, since that's when "Gremlins 2" came out. I don't have a promo for that special.
DVD case? The commercial is for a VHS tape!
I heard Ben stein in the chips ahoy ones say Mercury Venus earth and mars
There's a Family home entertainment logo during a commercial break? No Way!
The Saturday Night Live sketches are really funny, I really wish they'd bring back sprinkled chips ahoy. I always asked my dad 2 buy them for me and he did
I don't use the phrase "turtlerific" enough in my day to day life, I need to change that.
I can't its been 24 years since these commercials aired I was only 4 at the time

Its funny how they sing out all the product names
@80sCommercialVault You're probably right, but the voice actor for Mr. DNA is Greg Burson. I didn't know he voiced so many iconic characters! :O
finally my comments get through, anyway as i wanted to say. Ho-ly, Shiz-nit, Looney tunes used to be on nickelodeon! I dont know when in the 90's this commercial came out but i feel like the last to know. i was born in 94.
He Man is one of the Masters of the Universe. They were always going to other planets and dimensions.
The ninja turtles vhs at the end "Totally True Story" made me laugh
@XieYali I don't think it's the same voice actor, but they're definitely similar.
"From your BLOOD!"
The voice of the Nick character sounds like the voice used for the DNA molecule in Jurassic Park. :D
OMG! SLIP AND SLIDE!!
the 90's when it was perfectly normal for a grown man dressed as skeletor to fight a child in his bedroom.
Anyone else notice during the TMNT ad, Leonardo's bandana goes from blue to red around 5:02 and then Raph comes in right after?
Yes to sprinkled chips ahoy!!!!
OMG I remember Nick @ Nite! lol
OMG i Had One Of them he-man Power swords!!!
hula hoops always gave me cramps.
I'm not going to lie ; some 90s commercials freak me out D:
When I was a kid, I used to put my Barbie dolls in my brothers trucks and push them around my room.
I want one of those He-Man swords now.
i remeber all this
Back when ppl were more active
4:48 - That's right. They're real, and if you don't see them in front of you right now, it's probably because you haven't bought enough of our products. Would we lie?
They actually still did ads for hula hoops back then!?! Too funny
lol aww poor Gizmo he was so cute and i had that toy .
YES! The FHE intro! Love the ninja turtle videos.
That He-Man commercial is SO badass. However, my all-time favorite definitely goes to the Turtles.
double slip n slide!! xD yeeeaaaaahhh!!
Ohhhh yeah! Sprinkled Chips Ahoy...that's a snack they need to bring back! Why oh why did they stop making those?
...... I remember wanting that He-man power sword more than anything else that Christmas. It's all I asked for. Sadly, the box I thought it was in turned out to be a toy 18 wheeler :(
