can you do video's on attitudes and what these mean and also how to use the key pad as a pa button as mine doesn't seem to work when pressing 1and 3 at the same time
What attributes exactly? To enable Keypad PA, from Engineers menu, press 4- Keypad Set up, Yes, then on the keypad you want to use, keep pressing Yes until 'Options', press no, use arrow to move to the 5th star, press no and A will come on, press yes, press menu a few times and leave engineer mode
@@pizzaandchipsmate attributes of what they do as am so worried I do something wrong and it goes off and unable turn it off attributes aren't really explained anywhere on these systems really so for example my front and back door are on timers during the day and my kitchen sensor is on the gardaccess but night time I don't want the back door on a timer or the kitchen sensor on Gard access those can go on full Gard on a part arm only my hall I want on Gard access for night so I can get to the keypad downstairs which the hallway downstairs is Gard access so that ones ok sorry for the s.a lol
@@chriswilkinson3260 Generally the settings are ready to go, a circuit as guard access automatically becomes an entry zone in a part set. As I said you usually don't need to worry about the others as changing them is very niche. To change zones to 'Guard' on a part set, you would On Zone Set-up, press Yes until zone Atrtribute, then no, then arrow to the last one, and press No (G should appear), then press 'Yes' to lock it in. This would mean when Full Set it is the Zone Type (Entry/ Exit, Guard Access etc) but on a part set, it will change to a Guard zone, so opening will cause an immediate alarm. You would put the 'G' on the Back door and Kitchen PIR.
@@pizzaandchipsmate thank you so much for your help I have rung places but no one will speak to me unless I part with cash first lol this is a massive help thankyou
@@pizzaandchipsmate Thanks, I think i understood what you mean. With the Texecom CAA-0026 Premier Elite 24 Control Panel, it mentions 2 Areas and 3 Part sets. Does that mean I can set 3 different rules? So 1 = All, 2 = Downstairs, 3 = upstairs? How does this work with areas? Appreciate your help with this! I am planning on purchasing the system but wanted to understand it before going ahead.
You wouldn't have something in Area A (house) and also in Area B (garage) it's one or the other, but a zone can or not be in individual parts. You can fully configure part sets and areas. Most customers just have an A (for a full set) and nothing in B
It is indeed, you can either do it as a part set or an area set. I'd prefer the Area option, make a note of the zones you want to have the; Zone Set-Up, press Yes on the first window/ door until you reach Area: A. Press No, then 1 then 2, then A should go off and B should now be on, press Yes, then press the arrows until you're on the next window/ door. Zones should only be in one Area, you can then change Area B setting in Area Programming and make it instant set etc. You can change the name to Perimeter in Area Programming (Area Text) as well. This will allow you to when you type in code/ fob, press the Area button on the keypad and press 2 and it will only arm the perimeter. If you're going out and want to full set, you would still do Code+ Yes like normal
@@nickyp909 It's quite involved, just make sure you test it fully after any changes, and make sure you can walk everywhere internally without setting the alarm off
Thank you. I just had to program an alarm for part set and your video made this a lot clearer than reading the manual
Thanks Paul, if you have any questions feel free to ask
You absolute wizard, thank you so much!!!!
Great video. Much eaiser to understand than the installers guide. I have just installed a Premier Elite 24 panel and this was bugging me.
I have an upstairs part set on ours but when it’s triggered and goes off the external sounder doesn’t sound? Any help would be great

Hi, what is the difference between 'Area' and 'Part-set'?
You can have a device in multiple parts, but only in one area. So a night set is generally a part setting, and a garage for example is usually an area

What is quote and asking for reply ? Please help
It means anti-code reset is turned on, so you'll need to input the quote into an algorithm and put in the reply
Big help mate cheers!
