Totally. They’re teenagers for God’s sake. Seeing comments saying Blaine and Kurt is this and that annoys me to no end and irks me how these people see real life relationships.

The thing is their relationship isn’t toxic but they sometimes don’t know how to communicate which leads them into looking “toxic” when they really just aren’t telling each other how they feeling or how they fully feel
THANK YOU! I swear, it irks me so much the way people are constantly throwing around the "toxic" label with them. I do feel like there tends to be a lot more Blaine haters than Kurt haters, and the one that really irritates me is the whole "he's suuuch a hypocrite because he got all upset at Kurt for not even cheating, and then turned around and cheated himself!" and I'm like... yeah, and when he did said cheating, he *immediately* got on the plane to NY to tell Kurt, fully owned that there was no excuse for what he did, and proceeded to beat himself up about it for weeks until Sam helped him realize that wasn't going to help solve anything!! So point is, no, there was no hypocrisy to that at all. He held himself to *exactly* the same standard he held Kurt. And yes, he was perfectly justified in being hurt that Kurt would bask in the attention of someone else rather than talk to him about their issues. Just like Kurt was of course entirely justified in no longer trusting him when he made a horrible, rash decision to cheat rather than talking to Kurt about how he felt. They definitely had their issues communication-wise, but people really need to grasp that someone making a mistake they would also be hurt by if it was done to them, and fully *acknowledging* how hurtful said mistake they made was, is not them "being a hypocrite". It would only have been hypocritical if Blaine, after being so hurt by Kurt's behavior with Chandler, had cheated and then proceeded to try and downplay it or brush it off as not a big deal. But that's not even remotely what happened. What happened was he made a horrible, deeply hurtful mistake, acknowledged it as such, allowed Kurt to make the next call, and given some time Kurt made the choice all on his own that he missed Blaine in his life and wanted to let him back into it. As far as cheating situations go, that's about as healthy a way of handling the fall out as possible.

I prefer to think that they were born the same calendar year, but Blaine was born in the fall/winter and missed the cut-off for school registration. Blaine seemed super confident when they first met because he had already been rebuilding himself at Dalton for a year and the Warblers made him their star.
To be fair, it was never actually established in canon that Blaine was initially older than Kurt. In S2, the only potential reference to his age is when he's called a "junior member of the Warblers", which could very easily merely refer to his relative status within the Warblers rather than what year he's in at school (for example, in my secondary school choir, the label of "junior singer" was used to refer to anyone between the ages of 11-14 - which spanned 3 separate school years). From a purely canonical standpoint, it's entirely possible that Blaine was always younger than Kurt but was able to seem older and act as a mentor to Kurt in S2 because he'd already been through the whole "queer kid harassed/attacked by bullies at school -> transfer to Dalton" pipeline himself. Once he transfers to McKinley, he's more out of his depth because he's in an unfamiliar environment and doesn't have the inbuilt respect from New Directions that he had with the Warblers so it becomes more obvious that he's younger. Have I thought way too much about this? Yes. Yes I have. Besides, if you really want a completely unexplained mindscrew in terms of age continuity, David and Thad in the Warblers are both on the Warblers' Council in S2, which Blaine says is a position reserved for seniors. @@pfloydsux if it was a person who'd never seen the series and watched that car scene alone , then sure they would've said kurt "settled" for blaine . but we literally saw their journey , saw how much blaine helped kurt through so much shit , saw how much blaine " saw " kurt and his struggles and who he truly was unlike anyone else in his life, how blaine continued to see and notice kurt's struggles various other times throughout the show , how they had much more of a deeper connection and love than just surface level highschool romance, how much blaine was so much more than just a lover for kurt but rather a true friend who he could always open up to which kurt tried with others while broken up but never could light up the connection he had with blaine with others. kurt says those line with living experience of trying to find that connection with someone else but later on having an understanding that what he had with blaine, the trust and safety and love he had with blaine, could never be replicated with someone else. so it's not kurt " settling " with blaine, it's kurt experimenting it with others , gaining the experience and knowledge that blaine being in his life is not a need for kurt because he can't have others in his life to love him, but a want to have blaine in his life and grow old with him because blaine is his best friend . blaine is a choice for kurt , not a necessity . so for people still claiming that kurt was forced to be with blaine should watch the entire series . honestly i think finchel was toxic i am now re-watching glee and i see how much Rachel and Finn argue and then say i love you 2 secs later and i am not saying it's toxic to argue but they did this like 5 times in every episode and its kinda annoying oof
I wouldn't go as far to call them toxic as they are all teenage relationships and I truly believe finchel cared for each other. They were annoying and I was not a big fan of them. They just had different goals and different destinations as their end place which just made them incompatible as they would've had to give up their dreams to be together which both of them are not capable of.
@@andersimp7245 yeah you explained it better lol
Yeah, big time. Rachel gave Finn a Christmas list with nothing on it he could afford and then was mad when she didn't get several things from the list.
@@andersimp7245 definitely!! That’s why I preferred Rachel with Jesse because they had similar goals and none of them were afraid to stab people in the back to get there
@@Bloodyheroesandlegends yes , i too prefer st.berry over finchel. jesse understood rachel's passion and love for broadway and new york like finn never could . and they had more in common too than finchel
yesss this was so good!!
Coming back to this video I just realized the jocks of their school is on their proposal. Like weren’t they one of the groups that bashed the glee kids and openly bullied kurt?
Idea for a video, there's a lot of material for this, yet I haven't found anything like it on RUclips: Blaine being a bottom for infinite minutes gay (there's nothing wrong with being a bottom but it's just hilarious how much material there is for this, not only sexually but like, Kurt really ruled that relationship 😂👌)
I don't think I'd be giving it the " Blaine being bottom " title as I'm not part of the MLM community and it might come across as disrespectful. but I'm planning on making a Blaine being whipped for Kurt kind of video with similar concept as that boy was long gone for Kurt. Thanks a lot for the suggestion.
@@andersimp7245 I completely understand 😊, I just didn't knew the right word and since even Sue has implied she knows who's the boss in that relationship, those where the scenes I meant, I didn't meant it to sound disrespectful, I love your edits and I can't wait to see that video 😂👌
oh no, i never meant to say you were disrespectful. i'm really sorry if i came across like that. It's just people ( mlms ) feel uncomfortable when others use the term ' bottom ' , so i wanted to respect that. I'll surely keep your video suggestion in mind . And thanks a lot for the compliments
@@andersimp7245 Don't worry it didn't sound like that at all, I just wanted to apologize either way 😊, btw I just had more ideas I mean you don't have to do them 😂, but I think it's fun to mention them, Blaine being a simp or being hopelessly devoted to Kurt 😂, Blamtina being besties, Darren Criss being himself in glee, or Blaine, your Darren is showing 😂, anyway, that's it for now, have a nice day ❤️, I've gotta gay, go I've gotta go 😊👍
@@swiftie2224 suggestions are always open here. just that I'm a lazy bitch who will take a long time to get to making the videos. I've written all of them down, so thanks a lot for the suggestions. Let's go and gay out ( I'm sorry for the terrible joke )
Thank you for doing the lord's work!
Brittana and klain were the less toxic relationships
who said klaine is toxic we need to talk
A random ass commenter who claimed to be a Kurt fan and said that " i can't ship klaine because blaine hurt kurt a lot " and continued to prove to me that klaine was toxic even when i asked them to stop. so i just deleted their comment . and it's not just them . a lot of the newer fans do the same too and its exhausting talking to them .( I'm not trying to undermine the new fans as i am one too but some of them can't see the nuances in their relationship )
@@andersimp7245 :( i honestly think they’re very wholesome most of the time and blaine clearly adores kurt. also that person should literally just chill it’s fine if you don’t like klaine but you don’t have to be annoying abt it
A random amount of people on RUclips, people on a Facebook group I'm on, I know a few people
It's very popular to hate Klaine and especially Blaine nowadays
@@ashleyhall6098 I lost a friend cause she hated Kurt and stan Rachel but I was just annoyed that she found Kurt selfish while adoring Rachel and defending all her crap. I like Rachel sometimes but most of the time she wasn’t my fav. And I got very annoyed that my former friend eventually blocked me for not hating Kurt and Klaine.
the most thing i don't understand! blaine dates he's ex-boyfriend Bully! that's doesn't make sense
It’s was so out of character but it simply a bad writing
They were not toxic
yeah, they are not. this is me proving to the people who believe they are toxic wrong
I hate the cheating plotline though.
Klaine has never been my favorite ship for reasons I'm not willing to get into so don't ask. However, I do think they are very cute.
it's totally fine to not ship them. but to call them "toxic" and their shippers people who encourage "abusive relationships" is where I draw a line
“Kurt settled for Blaine.” Wtf?? That makes no sense. Kurt was the one who had feelings for the other one first. He didn’t settle for him.
That's what the antis think because he'd said to burt while driving towards the proposal that he was never gonna find someone who'll make him as safe as Blaine which they twist to make it as if kurt settled for blaine
@@andersimp7245 that’s an insane leap in logic 😂
@@andersimp7245 I didn't like the wording of what Kurt said in the car for just this reason. I would have rather he said something he loved about Blaine rather than "I don't think I'm ever gonna find anyone else who makes me feel that way." I can easily see how that could be misconstrued as settling. If they had kept in the sleepover scene where Kurt tells the girls he was going to say yes to the proposal, none of this would be an issue.
( i'm not trying to start any sort of fight with you nor this is truly against you , i just wanted to say this for all who come into my channel with such claims , thanks a lot for coming and giving your thoughts on the subject and for watching the video , i truly appreciate you )
@@andersimp7245 I did not take it as a fight at all! I'm a massive Klaine simp so I agree with what you've said anyway, I just wish the dialog in the car with Burt had been expanded a little more so there would be no confusion as to what Kurt's motives were.
Obviously it's not as bad but kurt kind of cheated too but emotionally
out of all the couples in the show they're so not toxic omfg. they had their bad moments as most young couples do, but they love each other and got over them. also please let's just agree that both of their breakups (blaine cheating, kurt calling off the wedding) were incredibly rushed and out of character and their relationship should NOT be judged on those 2 moments.
