I use one sub, it's good for me. Depends if you can connect 2 ones and also have a big room or not

2 is usually better if you want a more even bass response. But unless you invest in a calibrated mic and can measure you would not be able to set them up properly. But a sub can be fun anyway but maybe not the best tool for music production.
If you make music i would actually go for the best pair of monitors you can get for their stereo field presentation and tone and use a set of reference headphones for getting the sub bass right as headphones are not dependant on your room to have even bass.
can you feel the bass with this sub?
