So odd when you're from the Northern hemisphere (Netherlands) to consider the fact that people from "the South" celebrate Christmas in Summer.
Summer is the best for Christmas.

worse than that, our xmas/summer isn't just hot.... its dreadfully hot, like 45degrees (over 100F).

Hunter said DAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have put up all my bench/table top decorations up,
the tree is tomorrow! We Valentines love us a bit of Christmas alright! I think that third generation girl is going to carry on the traditions we all love, number 1. Put the tree up early. 2. Put as many decorations around as pos. 3. Just love that Santa to bits. That's this families way to celebrate the season ho ho ho.
I feel like everybody is decorating for christmas early this year because of Covid. When we can't really go anywhere, let's bring that christmas joy to us xD

Hunter will cherish all of these videos one day. She won’t know any different but what a unique experience being able to literally watch yourself grow up. So precious watching your family traditions.
Hahahaha! Awesome! I use to go out in the evening and walk around the block and I saw that some people have already decorated the windows with Christmas lights. First I thought: waaait a minute, this is way too early! And then I realized that Christmas is now more of a mood. It is a spirit meant to cheer you up during the long, cold, grey nights of winter. Without Christmas winter here would be sad and almost unbearable. We should celebrate and decorate as soon the night is longer than the day and the temperatures drop under 10 degrees Celsius. :) I love you guys. You are wonderful people.

We put our tree up the 14th. While we aren’t world travelers we do have a special Christmas tradition we started when the children were born. We give one another a Christmas ornament every year. They’re sometimes crazy ones and sometimes beautiful,but we love them all. Hunter is adorable!🎄✨😊
My daughter loves you guys so much she has always wanted to travel to the maladies! Already decorating for Xmas to!
We have also collected Christmas ornaments from all our trips around the world. I also wrote country,city and date as I knew I would never remember.
They are the best souvenirs and mementoes of our travels. Best wishes ,always.

We also have a collection of Christmas ornaments we collect on our travels but many did not start out as tree ornaments. My favourite is a tiny complete edition of A Christmas Carol from 1914 that we found in Borough Market in London UK. The binding was broken so I carefully placed a piece of thin ribbon in the binding forming a loop then carefully glued the binding back together. It is the best ornament ever! It's also my favourite story and Christmas movie!! We normally get our tree up towards the end of November so that we can enjoy if for a decent amount of time! Love you guys!!!

I love this! We put out Christmas decorations the day after Halloween. Like you, I needed something that would bring a little extra joy right now. Since we celebrate Thanksgiving in the USA, some pumpkins are mixed in, and I saved a few special Christmas things to put out December 1. Happy (early) Christmas!

I love this vlog!!! I haven't put up my Christmas tree or decorations yet because I live in the US and we still have Thanksgiving. I always do it December 1st. I have watched almost every Christmas movie and cartoon and have filled out all of my Christmas cards though! I love that you have collected ornaments from all over the world! My grandma used to get me an ornament every year with something related to what I was doing/interested in and then when I got married I started that tradition with my husband. It's always so much fun to look back on the different ones from all the years!
