Dinmukhammed Kanatuly Kudaibergen (Kazakh: Дінмұхаммед Қанатұлы Құдайберген, Dinmuhammed Qanatuly Qudaıbergen; born 24 May 1994), known professionally as Dimash Kudaibergen, is a Kazakh singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. He is university trained in classical as well as contemporary music, and is known for his exceptionally wide vocal range.[1][2][3][4][5] He has performed songs in twelve different languages.[6]
Although offered a position at the Astana Opera, he decided to carve out his career in contemporary music, mixing classical elements and traditional Kazakh music with pop music.[7]
He gained significant popularity in Kazakhstan and other post-Soviet countries in 2015 upon becoming the Grand Prix winner of Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk, Belarus.[8] He rose to fame in China with his participation as a "wildcard competitor" in Hunan TV's Singer 2017 (Chinese: 歌手2017)[9] finishing second overall.

Dimash was born to be on stage, so much charisma in him, so much talent.
This is the song and video that propelled Dimash to #1 in requests on the MTV youtube channel Friday Livestream for six weeks in a row. Sadly Dimash fell to #2 last Friday due to not quite enough number of Dears showing up to vote for him. Any Dimash fan who would like to see him return to the top where he belongs should tune into the MTV Friday Livestream EVERY Friday from 5-8 pm New York time and type REQUEST DIMASH as many times as possible in the chat during the three hours of the program. It's an easy way to give back to Dimash for all he has given to us.
At the premier of the film in Italy, Director, Writer, Composer, Piergiuseppe Zaia shut the audience in the theatre, and stood at the front to tell them that they must sit and listen to the incredible boy Dimash singing this at the end credits. Piergiuseppe is so enamoured of Dimash that he has promised to make a concert for him in Italy after the pandemic settles and its safe, he wants to work with Dimash again. But we will see, Dimash has his solo world Concert Tour to continue and has promised a concert in South America too. He will also be going to the US to live for a while to promote his music there. He will dominate the world with his voice soon enough. Can't wait for it to happen for him. 💖💖💖

The composer demo'ed this with a Baritone, an Alto and a Soprano. And even then the Soprano had a tough time with the highest notes. Then Dimash comes along and sings the whole thing perfectly. He is truly a once in a Millennium type of talent 🙌🏼💜

I always enjoy your reactions to Dimash so much, Cedric. Your insight is very interesting and the way you describe what he's doing makes one go back and look and listen again. I've come to the conclusion that Dimash takes mere words and turns it into something sublime. I totally get what you mean about his face. He's constantly animated. Even when he's being still, his eyes are not. A mere eyebrow twitch, a tilt of the head...all these things rivet one's eyes, constantly waiting for the next thing he's going to delight us with.

Cedric , million X thnx , 4 such a superb comments on the greatest singer ever to come around on this era...!! We had a wonderful singer here in Peru 🇵🇪 , South America who also had an incredible range , back in the 1950s. Her name was Yma Sumac , and did a tour in Europe and once she reached the former USSR , was asked to stayed there and extend her performance dates for several months... Did a movie with Charlton Heston , and has her handprint in Hollywood . God bless you infinitely , and please keep up the great lessons you impart to us all. Best regards from a 76 Y.O. While watching and (let's be honest) EXPERIENCING this, my goosebumps had babies AND then grandbabies!! That gorgeous low note you talk about--I always see it in my head as this beautiful big, fat oval just sitting on--and over--the line in the sheet music, like trying to fit cher butt into a chair that's too small. I WALLOW in that note. Also, I just have to say that certain chord changes in this song are some of the most uplifting I've ever, ever heard. Dimash understands the importance of conveying the real story of music through performance. His total commitment to the story in appearance, dress, body language, and emotion is like a mini-opera. Or a Popera if you like. Hs intense operatic, blues, jazz, folk, world, and pop music training are all elements within the story. Every performance is a work of art that captures the Yin and Yang of humanity. Without the vibrational balance, we are lost, which I believe Dimash totally understands through his own great humanity. The world is hungry for that reconnection.

Hi, I always enjoy your reaction/analysis of Dimash. I don't know how many reactions to this song I have seen, but no one has mentioned the jelly fish appearing when he sings 'oceans of love.' It's just another of the things added that makes his performances more than a song! I'm 76 and addicted. I have to listen to Dimash at least once every day. Keep up the good work. I think this was recorded with Dimash standing in front of a green screen, possibly at his home studio (?), as he wasn’t able to travel anywhere at the time, due to Covid restrictions - so the film-makers at Sony had to work around him.
He first wore the beautiful jacket at his sell-out New York concert at the Barclays Centre, in December 2019 - it’s too good not to have been recycled for further use, isn’t it!
Wasn’t it recorded before? Since the film was set to release in beginning of 2020?

I can’t find anything to confirm one way or the other now, but I seem to remember that Dimash was found at the very end, when the film and orchestral soundtrack had already been recorded (it did well in at least one film festival before Dimash was approached, I think). There was also an interview with the designer - Leka? - who was tasked with providing the costumes for the New York concert ....
Yeah. Di is a genious..incredible performance. As u said his voice Is mystical. The last part sounded like an electric guitar...wow!!. I never get tired of listening to this song. Yeah! Everybody loved his jacket..

Жаль, что Диарсы упустили первое место на MTV US. Было заметно меньше реквестов, чем в прошлые пятницы. Особенно к концу . В этот раз стрим продолжался 3, 5 часа и конечный результат объявили тогда, когда большинство Диарс ушли сразу после 3х часов голосования и количество реквестов упало критически. Я боялась, что и второе место потеряем. Дорогие Диарсы, если трудно голосовать 3 часа подряд на MTV US Friday livestream , то хотя бы по часу можно голосовать, чтобы продвинуть нашего любимца поближе к его мечте - Грэмми. Сколько людей со всего мира голосует на MTV US? От 3 до пяти тысяч в обычные дни, 10 тысяч в Новый год. Сколько Диарс среди них? Всего лишь 1-2 тысячи ? А представьте себе, что 1,3 миллиона подписчиков с канала Димаша проголосуют хотя бы один раз! Ну, это утопия, но давайте пусть нас будет хотя бы 10 тысяч и каждый голосует не три часа подряд, а по полчаса хотя бы. Тогда мы будем победителями всегда.

Don't miss Sunrise.! In 1989, a cable car fell in China in which 17 people were traveling, including a married couple with their 2-year-old son. To save him they threw him into the void. The boy was adopted by singer Hann Hong and he created a song as if the boy was talking to his parents.
