She actually shows a little bit of this personality in the main series. The problem is that she meets Graystripe soon after and her whole character becomes 'I love Graystripe above everything'.
I mean Silverstream is canonically spoiled and entitled as heck. Like it makes her an interesting character but- she legit thought she was untouchable from consequences with her relationship with Graystripe because “my daddy is leader, so his warriors listen to me.” I would not put it past her to whap a child.
I also notice a trend with Riverclan collectively spoiling any kit that looses their mother.
That explains things
It kinda sucks that GreyStripe might choose Silver over Millie…
Better than ShadowClan whose cats seem to neglect or give much tough love to kits whose mother died and/or abandoned them.
@mrdoe97 I think it is significantly less respectable to choose a woman who died long ago over the woman you grow old with. I don't really care for Millie but I can't stand the idea of her living with this man loyally her whole life and then him ditching her for some girl who died years ago. But that's my opinion.

Honestly, I like mean/sassy Silverstream. Not in terms of like “Her spitting in your face is just her way of being a good cat uwu”, but I think it makes her more interesting and consistent with how she was when she was alive. We see her as the nice, gentle queen in StarClan, but when she was alive, from Fire and Ice to the manga at the end of Crookedstar’s Promise, she was spoiled and bratty, with the mindset “I’m the leader’s daughter, I’m basically the princess and can do what I want >:3”. It makes sense to see more of that side. More interesting than just “nice, gentle queen we’ve seen 1000 times”
well personally My favorite part of Silverstream is how her spoiled life leads her to have more philosophical freedom eventually leading her to being the main driving force of yelling at Firestar to ignore social conventions in favor of things that are just Morally correct outside of explicit warrior code content.
I've long since stopped reading this series, but I don't get why so many characters' personalities suddenly change the moment they die.
It was funny when she was jealous of Greystripe who moved into Millie in the newest book
Well that might actually explain feather tail in the circumstances of how squirrelflight got the three There’s a reason why jealousy is called the green eyed monster after all

Honestly warrior cats is so full of generic-good-warrior types and *especially* generic-female-mate types that it's actually nice to have what's effectively a supporting cast character have a personality, especially a love interest. Silverstream being canonically rude FUELS me

I loved entitled princess Silverstream so much, it makes her stand out in a sea of blandly "nice" she-cats

Or my stoic “I don’t care” attitudehaving she-cats? It’s kinda like in cartoons where all the girls look the same but the guys have a huge variety in their designs. Makes me really angry 💀💀
I haven’t read LeopardStar’s Super Edition so I’m assuming this is canon ( Despite this book being a practical rift in time )

While she didn't actually do any of this, Silverstream is VERY ENTITLED in leopardstar's honor. She makes excuses for her actions all the time when confronted as though everyone just needs to get a grip or something and Buzz off. She gets away with more stuff than leopardstar does, despite the series saying once or twice that leopardkit was spoiled too. But silverstream is worse and also, mostly a NOBODY to anyone outside of "is very hot" and "crookedstar's daughter." She's PRE-Leafpool

I find it really funny when they visit StarClan and Graystripe is there. Sliverstream gets so salty when Millie and Briarlight go up to Graystripe and she just glares at them. It is also hilarious and the cherry on top when Feathertail is watching Crowfeather and Leafpool from a distance at the same time. The two of them were just getting jealous! It was probably the only funny but in the book :(

I dunno, I found the part where the dumb dark forest cats head butted Bristlefrost to try and take over her body pretty hilarious. She’s just awkwardly standing there afterwards while they examine her and try pushing on her while concentrating lol 😂

It was for the best... Until Silverstream joined StarClan too, so I guess there is no escape for Whiteclaw.
I remember when Fireheart tried to talk to Silverstream into giving up on Greystripe in...Fire and Ice?...but she was like "No, I won't give up on Greystripe. It's none of your business. My dad is Clan leader and I don't have to worry about that." And also in Forest of Secrets when Fireheart is told that Silverstream is expecting kits and Fireheart tells Greystripe that he'd never be able to be with his kits or let them know who he is and Silverstream is like "it doesn't matter if no one else knows. I'll know and that's all that matters" completely overlooking everything else!!!
I can’t count how many times I’ve rewatched this. Don’t know why but this one just really got to me. And I haven’t even finished Leopardstar’s Honor but I feel like this is coming from what I’ve heard about it.🤣

no...no not really We didn't really get to see much of silverstream at all. We just got a lot of her Calling out Leopardfur for assuming graystripe killed Whiteclaw and poisoned the river and also just a lot of insulting leopardfur for choosing deputyship over love.

she really was just introduced as a biproduct of Graystripe's plot armor forcing someone to save him when everyone else nearby was a bad swimmer. Then Graystripe falls in love with her despite the fact she acts like this 95% of the time.
