Thank you very much for making these videos . I'm Tia , I'm borrowing my boy friends phone . we have watched and read litteraly 1000 or more videos and web pages trying to get a better understanding of rock and mineral identification as well as other aspects or geology . You sir are a diamond in the rough , a needle in a very large hay stack and a true God send . thank you for taking the time to explain in plain understandable terms . your picture examples are clear , large , not moving , and you give plenty of time to really look at what you are showing !! You have no idea how rare that is . thank you . please continue to make many more .

In fact silicon atom is much larger than oxygen atom in size. I have watched the whole series from you and like it a lot. Just the atoms of silicate at timestamp 2:46 are opposite in size than shown.

Hey man I just really wanted to know about rocks today I was at a lake in MA just lookin for quartz

  • @AlchemyOfTheFourthKind

Gypsum is a pillar for other minerals. Its great to project the vibrations of the other minerals, such as silicas. Also, silica quartz can store memory if you use a laser. You can use a piece of the specialy made silica quartz the size of a quarter to store thousands of terabytes. Which is insane. Just a tiny see-through quartsized chip thay can store more data than anything else i nthe world. Imagine if we could use those MASSIVE minerals within the earth to better understand the previous vibrations of the earth. We could study evey local of these quartz all around the world to piece history back together. We have used carbon dating but the minerals could hold memories from the very beging of its creation. Which was billions of years ago
