Cant express enough how much i just HATE that the bobbin will never be picked up😊 ive done everything correctly yet it still refuses to be picked up by the thread. And if something messes up while sewing its literally ALWAYS the bobbin. This machines technique is the worst thank you❤️
Hi Shelly, we assume that you mean the seam guide? This is an accessory that does not come standard with the b35. It is offered as an optional accessory though, see page 30 of our accessory catalog: issuu.com/berninainternational/docs/bernette_zubehoerkatalog_2019_en It is inserted into the hole of the presser foot, see for example the b79 user manual,. page 77: www.mybernette.com/media/2274.pdf
Why won't the bobbin thread come out? I am following the instructions very closely but the needle goes in and keeps coming up empty 99% of the time.... have to restart the whole process and only 1 out of 9 times does the bobbin thread finally comes out... at those times there is a little dance of joy only to have to restart all over again if i lose the thread.... any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Sorry that you had troubles with the bobbin thread. Please make sure when placing the bobbin into the bobbin case the thread is pulled long enough (about 10 cm). When drawing up the bobbin thread, hold the needle thread slightly. Turn the handwheel counterwise until the needle is at its highest position. Normally the bobbin thread should come up easily.
@@Mybernette Thank you so much for the response... This was in no way, shape, or form an issue with the machine. This is the very first sewing machine i ever bought and being resilient finally paid off a few hours after i sent you the original message. Even managed to sew tote bag that turned out looking wonderful! Your sewing machine is fantastic and I love it sooooo much that i actually named it! Fabulous product and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to pick up learning how to sew! Thank you Bernette... cannot wait to sew up a storm tonight! :)

Under the following link you will find the entire playlist for the two bernette machines: ruclips.net/p/PLP_mDUnCAVpyqF9RKFuIRIXThSTXYwq76 There you will find an instruction video for a denim dress. The bernette 35 and bernette 33 sew through this fabric really well. Partly there are a few layers of denim and the bernettes have no trouble with that.
Hi Micheal, please check that the needle is in the highest position. Lower the threader. Normallly the tiny wire goes into the eye of the needle. If not, please contact your local dealer.
Recently bought one of these and when I try to use different coloured bobbin thread in the top and the bottom, I can see the bobbin colour at the connection point on the top of the fabric and likewise I can see the top thread colour at the connection point of stitches underneath --- is this normal for this machine, as I have quite a few machines and never seen this???
Dear Angel, depending on the fabric and the thread that are used it may be neccessary to adjust the thread tension. If the lower thread is visible on the top, you have to reduce it for example.
We’re sorry to hear that you have troubles using the semi-automatic threader on your bernette sewing machine. Here’s are a couple of tips: When releasing the lever (shown at 1:44 minutes of the video above), do it gently! The tension on the thread with the right hand is also important. Holding that thread too tightly inhibits the threading process. Hold the thread loosely (but not too loosely) when you release the lever. This will help it catch. Also keep an eye on the quality and state of your needles. Don’t use old and defective needles. The needle-threader does not work correctly with needles that are bent or worn. If these tips don’t help please contact your sewing machine dealer who will be happy to assist.
@@Mybernette Also bought a new Bernette B35 which doesn't seem to thread at all. Tried the tips you've mentioned, no luck. The little metal catcher thing completely misses the needle hole.
@@VisiPianoOfficial Please make sure that the needle is in the highest position and that the needle is well inserted. If the hook does not go through the needle, please contact your dealer.
@@VisiPianoOfficial The tiny little metal hook that catches the thread could be bent and sliding either side of the needle. Guess you've figured that out by now!
Dear Piyada Rungrueng, prices can vary from country to country and even from dealer to dealer, depending on currencies, taxes, promotions etc. Please kindly contact your nearest dealer. He will be happy to let you know about the prices of the bernette line. Bernette stockists can be found through: mybernette.com/dealersearch
Hi Maria, the twin needle is inserted instead of the regular needle. On the top you have two spool pins where you place the threads. The threading is the same as usual, the thread on the left spool pin goes through the left needle eye, the one on the right through the right needle eye. Just take care of not exceeding the maximum stitch width.

I just got my first sewing machine and it's the b35 thank you for having tutorials on how to use it❤
Just bought a B33, can't wait!!!
I’ve tried so many times to connect the thread to the pin but it won’t work

Very helpful
Glad it helped

Is this a rotating hook bobbin or oscillating hook?
It's an oscillating hook, the b05 has a rotary hook though

is this for b33 too? :)
Yes, the video applies to both models (b35 and b33).
