Azan....I am sure, you will eventually able to live with Azan in the morning. Its like all the power cables hanging over the streets of Bangkok. After a whilst, you will not even notice them. As for us early morning person, Azan is a great way to start our day. Welcome to malaysia and I hope you have an enjoyable stay here.
It’s ok! We have found our groove and it’s no issue ☺️ but you’re right, all of these things are part of the process to adjusting to your surroundings 🫶🏼

If you guys have no fixed plan between 21-24 Apr, it's Eid celebration and I'll be celebrating Hari Raya (Eid) in my hometown, 2.5 hours to the south of KL, with my family and relatives. If you'd like to experience the celebration, I'm happy to invite you to our house. I can arrange accommodation for you while you're there.
Hi ya . Holly molly 😍. You guys are such a lovely sweet couple 💑 I'm from Malaysia live in London UK 🇬🇧 love to hear you guys accents..Your must be from London I guess. Can't wait to watching more Your vlog..
I'm ok with the morning prayers because it last maybe about 15-20 mins. But i can't really tolerate the lecturing part which could be few hours long. Thank god. Now those mosque (4 mosques) near my house stop Megaphone the lecture part. And I'm already immune to it.
A L the real question is are you busy or not with your work??? ifnot You need to go to their original country to spread the word of the Lord, THEN you will need to perform that Azan on the very Land of their original country!!!!
I am sorry that the call to prayer caused you emotional disturbance. I do not blame you even though I am also a Muslim but a Muslim with a simple understanding. Azan is the call to prayer 5 times a day for Muslims and it is a common ritual. However, I also used to feel disturbed when the loudspeaker was also used for lecturing which of course took a long time. Some people do not understand that even if we are a Muslim, we also need time to calm down and rest, but some Muslims feel that I am an ignorant person. While they don't understand that when we are at home we don't focus on what happens in the mosque because we live other daily lives such as children doing school homework, small children who are sleeping and others. We sometimes have to deal with people who think they know everything but are actually more ignorant. In my understanding there is a hadith that clearly says that when a friend asked the Prophet Muhammad if it was a mistake for him to forget the matters of worship because of taking care of the family. The Prophet replied, a moment here, a moment there. In other words, you can focus on worship and at other times you can live a life as usual. In Malaysia, some states understand the problem of fanatical Muslims and try to correct the situation. As you know, Malaysia is made up of several states that 4 out of 13 states are ruled by politic party that are very fanatical about religion. Some disbelieve their fellow Muslims. So when some moderate states give such instructions, they make it a political issue that this state is anti Islam. It was not a problem to lowing a little bit using speaker because position of mosques that are close to each other. As an alternative I suggest you use soundproof curtains. It means you have to spend a little and can be bought online for example on Shopee or Lazada.
Need to address this...the only permissible in Islam is the call to azan which is only 3-4 min. Other than that are bidaah . Innovations in religion. So many amongst the followers are ignorants. They are blind followers. They do not follow the Al Quran and the prophet. They only follow blindly the blind teachers.
@@herihazril I think I know better than you. Only 11%, what a joke, with 60% Bumiputera only 4 out of 13 state? 🤣😂 My descendants are scholars where my ancestors taught since 1810. In 1820, his house was turned into a mosque and remains to this day. The imams of the Banda Hilir mosque consist of heirs and are certified by the Meleka Islamic Religious Council. The latest Imam my cousin of Tahfiz graduated from Cairo. When we were little, we were taught to study, not like singing Chinese or Indian songs but not understanding the meaning, like most Malays like you. That's why in our mosque every Friday night there is a meeting of Al quran translation knowledge. So there is no need to talk about the fact that there is a verse stating that hair is aurat. The closest surah is An-Nur, which takes your khimar and covers it under the neck. But there are too many who deny the word of God. You can accuse me of ignorance, but I do not deny the word of God when the hadith was collected after 100 years of the Prophet's death, ahlul bait and sahabat died. The hadith is not confirmed by all the companions like the Qur'an where some scholars contradict each other regarding the present law. Sunnah is circumcision not obligatory.
Mahadhir, I agree with you. One of the issues is the quality of the loudspeakers. Bad ones tend to create loud noise instead of a beautiful sound as it is supposed to be. I can see that improvements have been made to replace the old speakers to a better sound system in many mosques and suraus. The azan sounds much more soothing nowadays, at least in my area.

Wow up that high with windows shut the prayers are still that loud? 😅🤯 That seems unnecessary!
The real question is why there is no azan call from where you live originally...
We are from a tiny tiny seaside town in the countryside of the U.K. 🫶🏼

Some states, the sultans or rulers disallowed certain political talks or speeches in mosque or up volumes after certain hours
