Oh how much I miss the good ole days when she was working with Gorillaz :( makes me sad she’s no longer working with them right now... or are they? Idk... they can be so unpredictable sometimes
From what I know, it’s not her choice. Gorillaz didn’t need her voice for like 10 years so when they came back for Humanz in 2017, instead of contacting her, they got noodle a new voice actor. She even had the same name lmao pretty weird. The OG voice talked about this on a podcast, sounded a little hurt.
@@cheerio4000 Uhhh what? You're _very_ confused. Miho Hatori literally only ever "voiced" Noodle in the sense that she sang parts of songs that were meant to be sung by Noodle (like "Get the cool/Get the cool shoeshine"), and she only ever did that on their self-titled debut album _Gorillaz._ That's the only album in which Miho Hatori appears. For all the Gorillaz content outside their music that required the characters to be voice-acted - like the G-Bitez and the interviews they'd do on TV shows etc - Noodle would be voiced by Haruka Kuroda. And Haruka Kuroda provided Noodle's "speaking voice" (aka Noodle's voice when she isn't singing) from 2000 through 2018 - throughout all of Phase 1: _Gorillaz,_ Phase 2: _Demon Days,_ Phase 3: _Plastic Beach,_ and Phase 4: _Humanz._ And then when they created Phase 5: _The Now Now_ in 2018, they replaced Haruka Kuroda with a new voice actor - the much younger Haruka Abe. They ostensibly did this because they felt Noodle's voice needed to change with her age. While Haruka Kuroda did a good 10 year old - 18 year old girl's voice, she didn't fit for a 27 to 31 year old Noodle. Haruka Kuroda is also Japanese and has only ever lived in Japan. By contrast, Haruka Abe is the same exact age as Noodle AND like Noodle, Haruka Abe is Japanese, was born in Osaka, spent many years living there, speaks Japanese as her first language, but ALSO spent many years living in England and speaks English as her second language and also has developed a very unique London-Osaka accent when she speaks both English and Japanese. This is the EXACT accent that Noodle would naturally have developed as well, so Haruka Abe's natural speaking voice is literally the exact voice that Noodle would have now - the voice of a 31/32 year old woman who was born and partially raised in Osaka, Japan and speaks Japanese as her first language with a distinct Osaka-ben, but also was partially raised in London, England, UK and currently lives there and speaks English as her second language with a distinct London accent that combines with her existing Osaka-ben to make a hybrid Osaka-London accent. So it makes perfect sense to replace Haruka Kuroda with Haruka Abe as Noodle's speaking voice. Also the only other person who has provided Noodle's "singing voice" on a Gorillaz song besides Miho Hatori (who, again, only ever appeared on their first album) is Roses Gabor, who sang as Noodle on the song "DARE" from _Demon Days._

Please bring Miho Hatori back, her backing vocals were so good.
Gorillaz really knew how to pick their guest vocalists
it feels weird knowing my brain is filling in all the other parts,,,lmao
lol how did you get this?
I think it's from the Rockband DLC, but I could be wrong. Love your new album by the way.🤘
Did you get any share of the money from this?
OMG Are you the real Miho?!
Answering your question, I isolated your Back Vocals (I loved it), and removed Damon's vocals. ^^
Best version of Rehash ever. I prefer Noodles vocals over 2-Ds anyways
