So late to comment on this, but I just think TWICE sings very likable, catchy and feel good songs.

their concerts in korea are amazing too! the 1st concert from the tour that they are now was in Seoul and even koreans who were not there were surprised about the new performances and also seeing the crowd jumping so much! I recommend you to watch some of their performances in korea too! Their concerts from 'III' tour in Japan and Korea were truly amazing, but you won't hear the crowd since there was restrictions bc of the covid 19 so people couldn't scream!
But last month they were the 1st girlgroup from any country to perform in japanese stadium and it was AWESOME! 1.2M people to buy the tickets and 220k sold, also they added 3 concerts in Japan for december!

in 2021 (if i remember number of songs correctly) they did 1 korean EP.(7 songs) 1 korean album(13 songs) 2 japanese singles (4 songs) 1 japanese album (7 songs exclude 'kura kura','fanfare','better'). so it's around 30 songs in 1 year. after their japanese debut, they usually did 2 korean comeback and 2 japanese comeback. (which mean around 28 songs/years.)

Yes, they are pretty popular in Japan, I don’t know about Korea nowadays, but they are getting bigger in the U.S, they sold out Sofi stadium in L.A, and MetLife stadium in New York for their 5th world tour. And of course they sold out their dates in Europe and Asia:)
