I mean the only people he knows who like to fight for no reason is two/three genocidal children who have all died mutiple times (timelines). There's Undyne, but her job is to kill humans and she seems to very much enjoy it. Add in his brother wanting to be in the royal gaurd, and at least partiall knowledge of resets, he is probably very sick of this bs. Even more so that technically the whole plot of undertale could have been prevented if Chara, and other key characters communicated. Or got therapy.
Im not gonna lie hollow knight is the ONLY fandom I've been in where the fandom actually is funny & focus's on the main character and is not cringy sometimes

Shade Lord is not his true form, it's actually the "God of Gods", it's a form of the Knight with the Godseeker's connection with Void itself, The Knight basically died when this Lord came.

The thing is. With the vessels in the abyss, is that they still had feelings in some capacity. Since the perfect vessel was supposed to be COMPLETELY HOLLOW. They were imperfect.
