The new style is WAY WAY better than the old!! Kept my attention for far more time. Please continue making educational videos in this same format. Also, stellar editing and great background!
Your animated lessons are the best learning experience for options that I have seen. There are other well done videos on youtube, but yours are the best.
unbelievable how good and informativ this video was. The animation comparing the value between different contract expirations is an eye opener. Thanks for the work, Sir
I will always appreciate your content and will always try my best to support your growth. I wish I had more free time to put the principles into practice. I remember when I used to have a ton of free time and no money and now my life is the opposite 😂 You have always been an excellent resource for learning about options trading for me. Thank you for branching out. This new format is entertaining and informative.
Hey Adam ! Great video! I'm mostly new to options. I have a question. I bought 1 call contract at a strike price of $15 for .10 cents a share of TSLY before there 1 for 2 reverse split which gives me 50 shares now. After the split how could I sell my 1 contract since I use Etrade and so far Im up 2900% but no order has gone through for me to sell my 1 contract even though I try use the sell to open or close orders. March 8th is my expiration date.
Hello! In this situation it would be best to contacts your broker's support team directly. Those reverse splits can be tricky to deal with. They will tell you exactly what's up!
Hi, so I was following this all the way till 13.00. you say 1.13 strike price but its 1.11 on the screen, is this just an error or is there something I missed?
Hey John, the true value of those options are 1.13. The market is just closed at the time of recording so the ask spread widened out! If we were able to record that just before market close, you would have likely saw a bid/ask of 1.12/1.14 (mark price 1.13). Hope that makes sense!
It was less about people making a profit and more about people "saying fk you to hedgefunds". It wasn't a battle of wealth, it was a principle. If banded together, we can fight the big guys.
Do you mean things like slippage and commissions? In general, they take away a very tiny percentage of the profits and is just the cost of doing business as a trader. Kind of like paying rent when you have a brick-and-mortar business. It's certainly not the difference between success and failure with our style of trading!
Hello, very amazing video. Congrats. However, I tried to open the free master class but I can not do it. Please, I am so interesting to carry on my education with you. I await your response.

What happens after expiration? Are the options deep in money negociated to interested people in them? Is there a time period to settle it, or btokers deal with it, or how..?? Thxs!
If you own an option that is in-the-money, it will be automatically exercised (the option will disappear and it will turn into long stock shares). Most option traders close options before expiration for this reason. Here's an example: You paid 2.00 for the 160 strike call option... And the stock is currently at 166 at expiration. Since options are worth their intrinsic value at expiration, the option would be worth about 6.00. If you close the option at expiration, you would realize a $400 (per contract) profit if you sold the option. If you don't close the option, the option will disappear from your account (-$200 per contract) but you will now be long shares at 160. With the stock at 166, you'd be up $600 on the stock. Net profit of $400. Same exact profit. But simpler to just close the position. There also may be fees associated with auto-exercising options. This differs depending on what broker you use. To answer your other question, your brokerage or clearing house will handle the transaction and it will all be pretty much instant/automatic for you. They will assign the seller of the option to deliver the shares to you. The stock market is highly liquid and they don't necessarily have to "find" anyone interested, as there are shares being traded every second on these stocks. Hope that makes sense!
You have great videos, but one little grammatical thing is bothering me. You have “it’s” and “its” the wrong way around in the text in your videos. Apart from that, your grammar is excellent. But remember: It’s means “it is” Its is the possessive form of “it” To remember these rules, think of the apostrophe as replacing the letter i, just like it replaces the letter o in “don’t” (“do not”). Also remember the rule that possessive pronouns never contain an apostrophe, e.g., theirs, hers, yours, ours, and its.
There are a couple grammatical errors throughout our videos and it always bugs me seeing them (I remember the "it's" and "its" thing in a couple older videos). Unfortunately, RUclips doesn't allow editing videos once they're posted. Plus, they take a long time to create and we often don't have the time to go back and fix everything!

Amazing Video gives a deep understanding of the concept.
Thanks so much for the kind words and for watching!
If I bought a call option $200 it went down $180 and back up $210 I have 2 days expiration . is that my call option worthless ?
If it is at $210 then it definitely is not worthless! In that case you have a $10 profit, regardless of how many days there are to expiration.
@@skyviewtrading Thankyou

Stay away from people who tell you trading is easy, and try to lure you into buying options.
He made followers to follow his calls and push the price, that is how he made it and why most people will fail trying
Certainly a valid argument!
