I love how this reporter had the time to sit down with Shania for an entire hour's worth of an interview. Obviously I know (and I'm not trying to sound ostentatious) that the US has quite a few more internationally known entertainers than Canada so it's harder for shows like Today and GMA to host every single famous person for an hour, but still the fact that out of all the interviews I've seen of Shania that this is one of the first few talking about her early years in Nashville. Very informative while being entertaining.

I remember watching this interview when it first aired and getting the feeling that something was off. Her eyes were puffy, she was holding a tissue in her hand the whole time, her face looked sad, she was emotional... Looking back on it now, I think her marriage was already crumbling, hence the sadness. She's amazing.
