people who think hypnosis is fake are the type of people who can’t get hypnotized. people underestimate the power of the mind. for example when you have dreams, most of the time you’re completely convinced it’s real and don’t stop to think that it isn’t for a second. hypnosis is convincing the mind to believe as you would in a dream except you’re not. (just putting this here since people don’t think this type of hypnosis is possible)
Hypnosis works in the sense that you can influence and manipulate people in very interesting and powerful ways, but don't think for a second that this girl actually literally believed that he was Tom Holland - she was playing along. Stage hypnosis is not the same as the kind of hypnosis you do to go to sleep, or to quit smoking, it's very much an act that the participant takes part in. To suggest otherwise would be disingenuous.
@@Gilsworth you can believe whatever your mind wants you to believe. he clearly doesn’t physically look or talk like tom holland but her mind could have manipulated in a sense so that she believed that he alone was tom holland. it’s completely possible. and there’s always the chance that her wanting to participate in the hypnosis opens her mind up to suggestion.
@@6lazn220 You're right, I know it's possible. The power of the mind is incredible, something that most people know so little about. I feel like I wouldn't be able to do this because I wouldn't be able to fully let my mind relax to the fact. I would question everything. In the beginning of the video it did look as if Nessa was faking. Her timing was off, he said sleep and she would react a good second after. He would count down, before he said wake she was already opening her eyes. I haven't finished the video so I'm only saying the first 5 mins looks like an act. I think she is mentally trying to get into the hypnosis, but not 100%
@@6lazn220 I don't disparage theatrical hypnosis, obviously it's a bit of fun for everybody - but you can't do this with an unwilling participant and that's a fact.

I love the way her friends are going along with it, to enhance her experience. The way they pretend to see what she sees, or the way they tried to act like monsters when he hypnotized her into thinking they were. It's just really cute.

Try to deepen the trance before, perhaps start with more simple stuff first, it also helps the hypnotized person to believe things more, while failed tests do the opposite.

@@arnovictordorian4991 It could be, anyway there is another way to get around this, there is this magician called Francis that did this celebrity thing but a bit different, instead of "I become your favourite celebrity", he asked one of the dude's friends for who his favourite celebrity was, and then he asked someone in the audience to play the part, then he said that the guy that is wearing (whatever he was wearing) is going to be Bruno Mars. You could try this approach, ask for someone else to be the celebrity or pick one that is not very different from you, even if it's not that person's favorite, at least for a test. About the language I don't think it matters, I mean if I were me, and saw, let's say, Mohammed Ramadan, who I don't know if can speak Spanish or English, and suddenly he started speaking one of those, I would only just think "Oh, he does speaks English/Spanish", specially with English I would not be very surprised as the language is very important, also let's not forget that they first see you before you even speak.
@@arnovictordorian4991 About age, I just wanted to tell you, since you mentioning it makes me think you are kind young, remember that Hypnosis while can be fun, it can also be dangerous if used in an irresponsible way, so always remember safety first, don't do risky stuff or stuff that could disturb them in a bad way.

I don’t know much about hypnosis other than it’s a powerful move that a Pokémon can use; and if you combine it with dream eater it’s definitely a game changer 😂 jkjk but in all seriousness, a willing participant is a requirement. It’s strange yet fascinating how powerful the mind is.

The camera man did an okay job most of the time considering it was probably not done by a professional.Yes it was a bit anoyying when he was in shot later on.Since he was blocking Roni,Aaron from shot.It was an interesting video and that's the main thing.

Dude as a person controlling a camera, they should know more and be overall more aware of other people using a camera too.
