I know this is an unpopular opinion but I love this theme. It’s usually played at 1.25 speed and man that change was amazing. It’s very quickly became one of my favorites in all of sports. I love the old theme as much as everyone else, but I think they did a fantastic job here

ESPN basically took a page out of Bally Sports but missed the mark on this one. The song itself isn't bad, but it's better suited for promos and pre-game/post-game or perhaps College Basketball on the network. The Bally Sports theme at least keeps the dramatic orchestral elements and electric guitar while sounding modern at the same time As far as their new graphics package, I like how the scorebug doesn't fill up a lot of the screen. However, it seems ESPN is late to the 'flat-design' party as we're starting to see it fall out of fashion (especially the last 2 years)
I think this would be a good lineup cue instead of a main theme. I prefer the previous theme package and I am very surprised it was replaced. Lisle Moore is a tremendous talent. It's too bad they can't release the music even after it has been retired and it will simply be lost in time by ESPN.
it's decent but NBA on ESPN shouldn't have rebranded this hard. The graphics and theme were fine But nothing compares to the graphics and theme from 2013-2016
The rebrand is good ngl. The ESPN scoreboard the last two seasons was a complicated mess that was way too big and had too much information, and now it’s much more simple. The song is like a 6/10 but it’ll grow onto me.
I miss when they show the starting lineup with the city in the background like they did in 2018. I like this new theme though. Old one was good too, but ran it's course.

Should of had this play only for the regular season and switch to the old one for the playoff. CBS used to do that with march madness which helped make the games feel more important.
to me it seems like they tried to go back to the theme they first had when they got the NBA... and failed. If this was a remix of that theme or the more familiar theme in this style it'd have probably been better but this is what we have and probably will have no matter what for several years, regardless of reception

While the press release remains cagey, it promises “exclusive remixes and bespoke songs from some of Atlantic’s biggest stars.” Artists on the Atlantic Records roster include A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Bruno Mars, Burna Boy, Cardi B, Don Toliver, Cordae, Gucci Mane, Jack Harlow, Lil Uzi Vert, Lizzo, Meek Mill, Missy Elliott, Rico Nasty, Roddy Ricch, and Young Thug. I hope they keep them . It’s bad enough that we have to listen to this fuckery of a theme for an entire season . At-least keep the playoff ones.
