Eish! Kemzy you are lucky you work short shifts. Here in the UK we work 12.5hr shifts and I promise the shifts esp in Acute hospitals its hefty and you work for your money.
Try NEOMS hospital in new Owerri, own by a good man, it's a brown new hospital, the just started employing currently, I know the man very well, he pays very well

Thank God you ate "swallow" before leaving home,that's the only food for such long hours. People are funny, will "humanity" put food on your table. You made the right decision. The hours are crazy. Especially having only one offday inbetween 8 12hrs shift. How do you recharge.

Do you know that many male sexual harassers not just from Nigeria but other parts of Africa have lost their nursing pins, sent to hail, put on a sexual offenders register and in some cases deported. They don't joke here in the United Kingdom. After that it becomes impossible get a job because all your crimes are seen in whst they call a DBS and many employers want to see that DBS before they employ you. Have you and your husband considered migrating kemzy because many Nigerian nurses are here in London. If African governments want to have a healthy healthcare system they must protect the female nurses. I am sure you heard about the ekweremadu story

Which law?? I’m in the states and it’s not against no law bruh😒 it's not illegal to have a consensual workplace romance unless it violates an employer's policy or is the result of unlawful activity. As long as it it’s not sexual harassment then yes
That’s a rigid schedule 4/12’s and then only 1 day off, in ICU/ CCU with s nurse assigned to 7 patients!!! Mostly here in S. California nurses do 3/12’s and only 1-2 patients. Of course, I am positive what nurses earn in 1 shift here, you probably don’t earn in 1 month there. That’s insane. Sometimes the experience is good, but just to be able to pay for transportation is not worth it, and kill yourself. Sorry you had such overwhelming experience. It’s not safe for patients when a nurse has to carry such a burdensome load.

The best place to enjoy nursing is a general hospital. Again, since that hospital has such patients, they are supposed to employ more nurses.
