Oregon is one of those states that's very similar to Washington. Its got the great outdoors, great people, but the one thing that i would say it beats in Washington is the food. Unfortunately, during my visit here, we were unable to sample some of the great cuisine that Portland, Oregon is known for. But definitely come check out some of the great hikes that this state has to offer!
Hi there! I’ll be going this August, any chance I can see the restaurants you were planning on visiting? I’m having a hard time finding restaurants and not just food carts 😅
So im looking to go somewhere for my 30th in November i had the intentions of Portland to visit all the falls around the area, does Washington have something similar? Which would you recommend?
Visit downtown and you will get to see a lovely assortment of tents. Walk around and you can enjoy dodging piles of human feces. And if you time it right, you can see dumpster fires, Molotov cocktails thrown, and local artist spray painting city hall and the court houses.
I was born in Portland and grew up in and around there. I'm certainly familiar with Multnomah Falls and once hiked to the top of them. However, I've never heard of these falls. Thank you for showing them.
Definitely check out Spirit Falls if you get a chance. Kind of a drive's away, but REALLY worth it. Apparently its pretty popular place for kayakers to venture out
This seems to be a very charming city, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!
Thanks for the view! I was checking out your channel and i remember going to ALOT of those places in Europe. I really hope i can go back and visit soon!
Thanks! The Pacific Northwest (Washington, Oregon) in June-July is the best season to visit. Hope you enjoy your trip there! Make sure to make reservations to certain dining spots as they can get booked pretty quickly.
If you really want to experience Oregon skip Portland and the surrounding area. Southern Oregon has way better everything. Spirit falls has nothing like what we have down here. We have waterfalls galore and some of them shoot through lava tubes then re-emerge again to go over more falls. These are on Hwy 62 up by crater lake. And sample sea food in Brookings and Gold Beach so fresh its still swimming lol. Also prices are much better here in the southern part of the state.
I dare you to do a worst of Portland video. The city has gone off the rails, really terrible homeless and drug problems now. Took all the fun out of the trip for me and my wife in 2021.
hah that sucks to hear. I haven't been back in a while. Plus, i dont live there so usually don't want to do a "negative" side of a place you know unless its REALLYT that bad.
I want to say it depends. If you're planning on doing a lot of outdoor activities then I definitely believe it's worth it. A lot of the shops are opening up now as well. I do plan on going back to Portland in 3 weeks, visiting crater lake and checking out other parts of Portland. When would you plan on visiting?
Oh wow that's professionally well done! Not sure I can mimic that level of quality but it definitely gave me some great ideas on how to shoot and frame my shots for the future. Thanks for the share!

Do it . just got back from Portland Oregon. Had a great time.
Love portland oregon
Definitely visit those places and the restaurant next time we’re in Portland.
Plan on going back again sometime in June for Crater Lake weekend! Thanks for watching =)
Lots of unfortunately here lol. Sorry the weather and covid impacted your trip
Not impacted at all. We can always find something else to do, but also do plan on visiting again in 2 weeks!
Awesome video!
Thanks for the watch! If you ever visit Oregon definitely check out those places =)
For a good view of PDX, take the tram up to OHSU.
Thanks for the recommendation. Will be visiting again in a week and will definitely check that out!
great vid, thanks!

Good advice. Oregon. Is not Portland. Thank God
How much was the Japanese garden?
Hey Courtney tickets are $18.95

How steep is the Spirit Falls?
It is about 500ft elevation gain. Parking lot to the falls is about a 0.5 mile hike. Very easy in my opinion.
is portland worth to visit during pandemic?

Yes
Antifa might have something to say about that, just think like and obey them, and you’ll fit right in.
@@Iwilldestroyyoo has anyone ever tell you to stop typing
@@Iwilldestroyyoo scru antifa and Portland.
It is Hwy 84 east/west not 85
I think you meant Highway 84 not 85

This travel guide video juxtaposes nicely with this visitor video from the Portland Tourist Bureau: ruclips.net/video/kfD1JwfuuBg/видео.html

Portland is not Oregon. Rather misleading.
What’re you talking about ?
Portland is one of the cities in Oregon State.
They think it is and by they I mean ppl who never left Portland or Oregon
