Started with AI-generated music a while ago, really impressed so far. Fun to try out different genres and make short videos. Only tried Suno so far, but maybe Udio is better at this point. Interesting to follow what's coming up ahead.
Those Udio examples don't contain their own AI generated lyrics, I don't hear "Neon lights", "something rush", "something electric", "something entwined" or some made up Simlish. 😂 There is a way though (tested it myself with a few songs lately and works for like 9/10) to exclude certain words or instruments. For words just type in the prompt "no word neon" , "no electric guitar" or "no male vocalist". This is not perfect, but the closest thing we got to negative prompting. I've been using Udio since the beginning in April and generated about 300+ tracks. Tbh, I don't even hear those default words anymore and just accept them as it is. Another tip when you try to recreate a song to compare v1 and v1.5 is using the same seed. Prompting isn't everything, the seed also matters. If you don't know the specific seed of a song (even older ones from ancient times), click the 3 dots on a song and you can copy its seed nr. Great video and a great choice/taste in music, have a like and sub. 👍
I find Udio is better at creating nuanced lyrics. Suno is just too "on the nose" and direct. for example when asking for a song about love, Suno creates lyrics literally about love, whereas Udio seems to be able to extrapolate and does a better job of being more subtle in the lyrics. Having said that, there are generations that are just as bad as suno.
Udio has become so bad after the update 😢 Even with the 1.0 version the output isnt the same anymore. I loved this tool so much, but now its just not useable for me anymore.
As for me, I mainly used Udio to imagine songs by famous people, and this new update has completely removed that possibility. Even if I use the same prompts as before, I can no longer get the results I used to have. So this site has become completely useless since version 1.5. I think they got scared of the record labels and have completely locked down the range of possibilities we had before. Did ou noticed that? thanks a lot !
@@ALEX-sk8ne yes, the same and I think that too. If I retry older inputs, the outcome just sucks and sounds cheesy. Hopefully the new update will bring any improvements hmmm
Not everyone has a budget for both, and I find for certain types of prompts and music one is better than the other. Like I said, I use Suno almost exclusively for instrumental songs, but when I need vocals I find udio is better.
Suno does lo-fi well because it already is.

Udio is awful.
There's no "better" use both. Compare versions.

@@EndangeredAI You can literally use them for free. Especially Udio if you create multiple accounts and get 100s of free credits. Lol.
The only downside with suno is that with pro plan and a premier plan, they only accept credit cards and that sucks!! Not everyone has a credit card.
Not trying to be an ass...if you really want the paid...go to walmart and buy an unsecured card. Put the money on it. Costs about $3.00
