I just got a new job that I start Monday. They scheduled me 3pm - 11pm for Friday. I know I should honor the Sabbath but I was afraid to say anything to them until I watched this. I did the prayer at the end and immediately got the courage, by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, to call them and explain to them that I must honor the Sabbath. I already have and will continue to pray for this ministry because the power of the Holy Spirit through Pastor Werks' words are real. Hallelujah and praise God!
I observe sabbath, but I also go to church on Sunday because all of the churches in my area only operate on sunday, and we arent supposed to forsake the gathering of the brethren. All of days are created by God therefore we should devote them all to Him. The Sabbath though has been set apart, so I observe my Fathers set apart day 😊
The MAIN reason why God created the Sabbath Day (7th Day) in the Creation story was to prophesy! It was to foretell the 1,000 year millennial reign of Christ on Earth, which would be mankind's 7th millennium on earth (year 6,000 to year 7,000). So every 7 day week that passes, as we honor the Sabbath Day by resting from our labors, we are honoring God's soon coming Sabbath millennium of rest on this earth. One thing I know for sure ... THAT is the TRUE meaning and purpose of God's Sabbath Day each week. We are honoring God's 7 Day / 7,000 year plan for this earth.
I kept telling the Lord that I wanted to spend more time with Him and He led me to follow the sabbath. To set aside one day of the week and just be with Him. I had to fight my worldly ways and change my way of thinking! But it is a blessing. I take all my grief pain and anxiety to the Lord and just sob at His feet. sometimes when I pray I feel this pressure almost like a hand is on my shoulder comforting me, and I feel the Holy Spirit all over me.
Amen. I was raised in a Sabbath keeping church since I was 6yo. I dont see very many churches in my area that keep the Sabbath. But it's a delight in my soul to come across others that delight in honoring Jesus on the Sabbath. It's a rest for my soul. Recently someone tried to shame me for keeping the Sabbath because they claimed I was nullifying Jesus' sacrifice. Thank you brother.

I wanted to thank you for this message. It was simple, but profound. As a teen I was a Seventh- Day Adventist, and ventured out into the Grace/Prosperity teaching as an adult. I have listened to teachers/preachers from numerous denominations, but have realized I went from one extreme to the other. As I have asked Father God to guide me, lead me and teach me all truth, He has been faithful and led me to some amazing believers on RUclips that are sharing the same message in this prophetic season we are in. I can't tell you how many times I smile and say Hallelujah in my spirit listening to your every teaching at the dinner table. You serve it right by the power of the Holy Spirit without contradiction. I get it clearly, Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath, so on the Sabbath day it is not about fulfilling the legal requirements of the law, but about worshiping the Lord of the Sabbath, and where possible have Holy Communion. Thank you brother Werks for this message. I keep a Saturday Sabbath I'm neither a seventh day Adventist nor Hebrew Israelite. I believe that once we are in Messiah the "law" actually becomes a blessing not a curse. I think from our Western dictated theology that is entrenched in our presuppositions, we have always been taught the "law" is bad, none can "keep the law, were not under the "law"...for those who subscribe to that on any level has never read Psalm 119. One who God called a man after His own heart who was not even saved by Yeshua being pre His birth, considered the law the center of His life, something to rejoice in and love and pursue and learn and keep! I think we have totally gotten it wrong, our fathers have inherited lies and Truth be told we just dont like laws. I'm not saying you are saying these things but I know walking with Yeshua for 12 years and pursuing the Torah (teaching and instructions of God) has been nothing but a blessing as it has added to my life not cursed it. I wont get extra brownie points for pursuing what He calls everlasting but I have found the true freedom that Yeshua died for. To worship Him in Spirit and Truth..."Thy Word is Truth" (the NT hadnt even been written yet, he was speaking of the Torah). It's a blessing to yada Him thru the Torah. Yes, Yes!!! Great word, brother. One other thing I have always thought about when the Sabbath Day conversation has come up with others who keep it - whether because of their religion or because they are legalistic with it - there were always references in scripture, such as the one about a neighbor's mule falling in a ditch and being in need of help....I always saw that as a life OVER law situation - meaning if their intentions were to give honor to Jesus by their obedience, then choosing to save a life would be more important that keeping a law. Having been all over the spectrum of Judeo-Christian congregations in the past 20 years, God has led my wife and I to keep the Sabbath not just because it is in the Law of God, BUT rather because God's love language according to scripture has always been about our obedience to Him. Jesus said, "If you love Me, then keep my commandments. Like you said in this video message, if it is not ALL ABOUT JESUS and HIM ONLY, then we are keeping it for the wrong reasons. By keeping the Sabbath Day the right way, we not only show God how much we love Him, but we also honor Him as Lord of the Sabbath.

Hmmm🤔 that reminds me of a dream that I had. in that dream, I saw myself looking up at the sky. and I saw that there was a big hole like a circle in the sky. when I looked inside that circle, I saw that there was a big city made of pure gold. But I couldn't see the city clearly because it was too holy for my eyes to look at it. And after that, I saw that there was a man standing in the front of that circle. And then I said to myself, that's Jesus! After I said that, I saw his arms opened for me to come to him. Immediately, I took off running towards Him, and when I reached Him, I gave him a big hug. after I hugged him, I felt so peaceful and I didn't want to let go of him. But then I said to myself, let me lift up my head and see what he looks like. And when I was about to raise my head up to look at his face, everything disappeared and I found myself back on earth where I was before. And then with a lot of excitement, I saw myself running telling everyone of what I had just witnessed and experienced. Ps. English is not my first language so I hope everyone understand.

The Sabbath day is an eternal Memorial, throughout all time, to give Glory to God the Father as our Creator. And God created all things through His Son... who became the WORD manifest in human form. Some Churches get this all confused with trying to say this is about the resurrection of Messiah. The Sabbath is not about the resurrection. The Feast of firstfruits is about the resurrection because Yeshua. But the Sabbath is all about memorializing God as our Creator and the other holidays such as Passover, feast of unleavened bread, Feast of firstfruits, Pentecost or Shavuot, Yom teruah/Feast of trumpets, Yom Kippur/day of atonement, and Sukkot which is the Feast of Tabernacles are all about his plan of Deliverance, salvation and Redemption!! They are a gift and a blessing to us. People get in a wrong mindset and say we don't have to keep those things, but why not say we are blessed to be able to keep those things. Those are all part of his Covenant. Halleluyah!! And this world is immersed in all the counterfeits. The counterfeit Sabbath The People Keep On the first day of the week and not the 7th Day. They're keeping the counterfeit festivals of Christmas and Easter, instead of the holy days that YHVH gave to us, to keep our eyes on Him and His plan of Deliverance, Salvation, and Redemption. He commanded us to keep those things to help us stay focused upon Him and the work that He is doing!

Love this for sure..just love how you teach to be in Christs rest..it's more about Him than the day. God has always wanted our hearts. It is a great reminder to rest everyday in the power of Christ who gave us the power of the Holy Spirit. That when we give up trying to control by our works and means, we give it to God (taking his yoke upon us and give us rest) then He will show up in a powerful way through us. Like at Armageddon...we all show up with Christ to the battle but only He will be the one to fight...we just show up to watch and see His glory! The glory that shown on earth from day one, the glory of God that shines so bright ..the Light of God. Jesus Christ was God's Glory and Light, His very spoken Word that created all things, His Rest on the Sabbath.

I was in Messianic Judaism for many years. They do keep Sabbath and law. This is so liberating. It's all about Jesus the Savior from darkness. Praise His Holy Holy name!
Abba Father rested in Jesus because He would finish the process of forgiveness and repentance. Forgiveness of our sins was for Him. He had to let go of His anger. We get benefits of His grace and mercy too, but we have the free will to walk away.

that reminds me of a dream that I had. in that dream, I saw myself looking up at the sky. and I saw that there was a big hole like a circle in the sky. when I looked inside that circle, I saw that there was a big city made of pure gold. But I couldn't see the city clearly because it was too holy for my eyes to look at it. And after that, I saw that there was a man standing in the front of that circle. And then I said to myself, that's Jesus! After I said that, I saw his arms opened for me to come to him. Immediately, I took off running towards Him, and when I reached Him, I gave him a big hug. after I hugged him, I felt so peaceful and I didn't want to let go of him. But then I said to myself, let me lift up my head and see what he looks like. And when I was about to raise my head up to look at his face, everything disappeared and I found myself back on earth where I was before. And then with a lot of excitement, I saw myself running telling everyone of what I had just witnessed and experienced.

Been sharing with everyone!) last night I prayed after learning about needing to honor the sabbath and I asked the lord to guide me today to help me understand what it all means...I scrolled though my main RUclips recommendations and this video came up! Took all day to watch it as I have a newborn but I am so grateful to Jesus Christ for the sabbath to the Holy Spirit for guiding me to your ministry and to our Heavenly Father! The Sabbath day is an eternal Memorial, throughout all time, to give Glory to God the Father as our Creator. And God created all things through His Son... who became the WORD manifest in human form.
Some Churches get this all confused with trying to say this is about the resurrection of Messiah. The Sabbath is not about the resurrection. The Feast of firstfruits is about the resurrection because Yeshua. But the Sabbath is all about memorializing God as our Creator and the other holidays such as Passover, feast of unleavened bread, Feast of firstfruits, Pentecost or Shavuot, Yom teruah/Feast of trumpets, Yom Kippur/day of atonement, and Sukkot which is the Feast of Tabernacles are all about his plan of Deliverance, salvation and Redemption!! They are a gift and a blessing to us. People get in a wrong mindset and say we don't have to keep those things, but why not say we are blessed to be able to keep those things. Those are all part of his Covenant. Halleluyah!!
And this world is immersed in all the counterfeits. The counterfeit Sabbath The People Keep On the first day of the week and not the 7th Day. They're keeping the counterfeit festivals of Christmas and Easter, instead of the holy days that YHVH gave to us, to keep our eyes on Him and His plan of Deliverance, Salvation, and Redemption. He commanded us to keep those things to help us stay focused upon Him and the work that He is doing!

Love this for sure..just love how you teach to be in Christs rest..it's more about Him than the day. God has always wanted our hearts. It is a great reminder to rest everyday in the power of Christ who gave us the power of the Holy Spirit. That when we give up trying to control by our works and means, we give it to God (taking his yoke upon us and give us rest) then He will show up in a powerful way through us. Like at Armageddon...we all show up with Christ to the battle but only He will be the one to fight...we just show up to watch and see His glory! The glory that shown on earth from day one, the glory of God that shines so bright

Abba Father rested in Jesus because He would finish the process of forgiveness and repentance. Forgiveness of our sins was for Him. He had to let go of His anger. We get benefits of His grace and mercy too, but we have the free will to walk away.
