ಶ್ರೀ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಧರ್ಮಸ್ಥಳದ ಧರ್ಮಾಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಡಾ.ಡಿ.ವಿರೇಂದ್ರ ಹೆಗ್ಗಡೆಯವರು 54 ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ, ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಹತ್ತು ಹಲವು ಸಮಾಜಮುಖಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಹಲವರ ಬದುಕನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕೇವಲ 19 ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತ ಪಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಿದ ಹೆಗ್ಗಡೆಯವರು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ, ದೇಶದ ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತ ಗೌರವವಾದ ಪದ್ಮ ವಿಭೂಷಣ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರವಾಗುವವರೆಗಿನ ಪಯಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡೀ ಸಮಾಜದ ಗೌರವ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಜನರ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಕ್ಕೂ ಮಿಗಿಲಾದ ಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈ 54 ವರ್ಷದ ಕಾಲಾವಧಿಯು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರು ಮಾಡಬಹುದಾದ ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತ ಸೇವೆ, ಸಾಧನೆಗಳ ನೈಜ ಘಟನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.
ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಡಾ.ಡಿ.ವೀರೇಂದ್ರ ಹೆಗ್ಗಡೆಯವರ 54ನೇ ವರ್ಷದ ಪಟ್ಟಾಭಿಷೇಕವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುವ ಸುಂದರ ಘಳಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಯುತರು ಇನ್ನೂ ಹಲವು ದಶಕಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತ ಸಾಧನೆಯ ಹಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಯಣಿಸುವಂತಾಗಲಿ, ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಅವರ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಲಿ ಎಂದು ಆ ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತ ಭಗವಂತನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.
Celebrating 54 glorious years of service through a position as Dharmadhikaari of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala, Dr. D Veerendra Heggade has transformed this place and has made millions of lives easier through his religious, social, educational and reformative initiatives.
From a 19 year old young man being entrusted upon a massive responsibility to the Padma Vibhushana who has made his place in innumerable hearts, Dr. Heggade has lived generations in 54 years. It’s a story of surreal, super human accomplishments.
We wish him decades more of spiritual and reformative strength. As we celebrate the 54th year of Pattabhisheka, the only prayer we have is that we see so many more of these.
