Very nice. I've grown Marigolds for a few years now from seed I save at the end of each growing season. I did not know they could be propagated so easily by cuttings. Thanks ! I'll give it a try once they get big enough in another month or so.
Superb info and demonstration! Wow! Look at those roots! I am now growing 18 marigold seedlings but now I know I should just grow a few and make cuttings out of them.
Dint knew marigold can be grown from the cuttings .. thanks for letting us know this. Though I'm waiting for my marigold seeds...the flowers are getting dried in sun.

Marigolds are the first plant I cloned on accident. It was so astounding and beautiful. My only longing is to be able to afford a good amount of land to conserve and return to the earth. ...

Hi... I came across the whole RUclips channel regarding flowers care and I found this page a quite helpful. I have some marigold plants but it's kind of tall plants. can I pluck or pinch the head this days
Urban gardening this is awesome and I will definitely try it. I just have a question about the kind of soil. Is it ok to grow in potting soil from a bag? Or is it essential to use sand? I do have crushed granite in my yard which I thought to be sand earlier and added to one of the plants and it's doing fine.
I have the same rooting powder and I tried with 10 - 15 Bougainvillea cuttings, its been 2 weeks plus. Only two sticks started a leaf but they are very tiny no improvements at all. any help?
wow great work. but unfortunately growing with cuttings never work for me :( which sand beach sand? or any other? and i also want to know which soil is good red or balck?
sea shell ...fine beach or river bed sand will work fine ...you can use any type of soil red, black etc but make sure you add organic compost in it ..do not use clay soil tc happy gardening
I have some marigold plants now....I knew that they are not ready to flower in these hot conditions,so shall I pluck all the plants with roots or keep these as it is for winter?? Suggest me
Small stone over the drainage hole will help to prevent the potting soil from washing out of the hole when you water...:)it will only allow the excess water to drain out ...:) tc happy gardening
