@@scottboldberg8494 Not just Idiot Flesh, but Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, and Free Salamander Exhibit. (Common denominator: Nils Frykdahl projects). But yes. I got to hear SGM in concert, and I mentioned they reminded me of Thinking Plague, and Nils said, "No, well yes, but actually Art Bears". (Or Henry Cow if you prefer.)
found this on late night KCRW while working at A&M Studios. captured to DAT, later bought the download after finding with soundhound. I love this. It's like a classical suite...
A couple of years ago I told a philosophy professor (quite awesome fella) about them, out of nowhere - I was a bit obsessed with the band, even though I'd heard just a few songs -, and he told me he had heard of them before. Yeah, there's some awkwardness involved in my memories because I'm a dull soon-to-become-adult teenager, but it was a pretty cool interaction. Hope everything's going alright with you. Peace!
R.I.O.-PROG MASTERPIECE!
Isn’t this wonderful music??? I haven’t heard anything thing remotely like this since I discovered King Crimson when I was a child.
It IS great. Am new to this band, is it worth exploring further? Sound like it..
It's very good Kate.
@@ulfingvar1 Their later albums are rated higher actually.
Take a listen to Idiot Flesh, if you haven't already . They had a very similar sound.

Thank you for the beautiful music; no one makes music this good anymore...
That bass sound is to go into battles for.
Ha ha. I see what you did there. ;)
Heard this at a friend's house.....stunningly dreary, yet advanced.
I hear shades of Henry Cow.
Nice.
Clever name for a recording company. Thank you for the beautiful music!!!.

Sounds like Primus before Primus
Universe Zero.
it's a bit Dog Faced Hermans vocals, No Means No bass, and a mixture of math rock salads :-)
