I love the sounds. There are so many complex and hyper realistic virtual instruments out there. But sometimes all I want is a simple, retro sound with nothing special or crazy going on. It has a charm of it's own
I would consider buying this, but Roland wants to keep all its customers on a leash, by only renting their VSTs. Renting VSTs is a waste of money in my opinion.
I dunno, I can rent an entire collection of impossible to own gear for less than a broken down version of any one of the included boxes, make a few albums, then ditch the subscription. Seems like a pretty good deal…
@@stuxnet3000A 1 year subscription to Roland Cloud Ultimate to get all of this ahit is like £200. An original JV-1080 will cost you £150 for a lifetime. I got an XV-5080 with two SR-JV80 cards for £500 ish. So basically I now get a cool piece of music history, two cards, for the rest of time vs two years of some software. I mean, just feels ridiculous to me.
2 years later and 4 months in when I posted my last comments. Actually Purchased this and the XV580. Wow. And never thought it was possible. Next I'm getting the JV1080, Srx world, Srx Studio, and Srx Orchestra. Before they pull it off the guitar centers Site. Just like they did with a few vst plugins I bought witch I'm lucky I got them a while back before stuff started to disappear smh. Off the site
while i record, it suddenly audio dropped and auto stopped the recording...i have uninstall it and record others vst and no problems happend. might be this vst hit the cpu badly. i just use i5.
3 years later from my last comment. I'm gonna Grab these while I got a chance. I got the money to get them and they put it on the guitar centers retail reseller. I wasn't expecting it to happen but it's there and I'm gonna pick them up so I can get rid of the cracked shit.

Robert JJ you should be able to use your qwerty keyboard as a MIDI controller for playing notes. It’s more than adequate for producing dance music I’ve found.

How do you use midi controller with this? It doesn't play anything. I'm using FL studio
Robert JJ you should be able to use your qwerty keyboard as a MIDI controller for playing notes. It’s more than adequate for producing dance music I’ve found.
In midi settings just choose your controller as input and click enable. When you touch your controller a sound should be heard.
How much CPU does it use if you use 16 instances of this plugin
