Great song and version. This was the comeback album for Chisel. Fair weather fans didn't give it enough respect...i love it. This was the first single from the album. Thanks Greg. Happy new year...i hope you and your family are all well...i wish you the best for the coming year...and more Chisel, of course. Speaking of that...a Mossy ballad from this album is Water into wine...a good one. Great mention of Phil's bass, and yep Jim's intonations are brilliant.

I love it. Jimmy's vocals had some smooth sounds without any gravel here, although he can turn that on and off with ease. Not many could do these vocals.....and then I loved seeing the late great Steve Prestwich on drums. The camera catches some parts of Don's piano skills, which I love, and Phil's bass kept everything together. Lastly, Ian's guitar solo never disappoints. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Had this CD of this album in my car playing yesterday but never got to this track on the album as was not driving for long enough. Least I heard it here. This was from the album they did about 15 years after they broke up. They did this tour and never saw them together again for about another decade, until the next album.

When I was growing up in Melbourne in the 60s/70s we use to buy Castlemaine Rock which was an ultra sweet hard lollie (candy).... I don't think they make it anymore

Your quartz story has reminded me of a quote from Douglas Adams’ _The Hitch Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy_ : “the secret is to bang the rocks together, guys.”

It seems to me, that on these later albums they are exploring different styles and expanding on what they did in the first part of their career….. my favourite album from this latest part of their career is Blood Moon…. Followed by the Perfect Crime album.

This was the last album of theirs I remember really enjoying. Everything through the 2000 s didn't do it for me which is a big thing when they are your favourite band bar none.

Sorry to break it to you, but you are still talking about music in a way. Piezo-electric pick ups are essentially just a bit of quartz under the saddle for each string.

I had no idea! That is very cool and I'll have to do some reading on it. Does the pressure on the pick ups from the strings generate an electric pulse?

@@deepcutsreactions7774 Yep. They're mainly used on nylon/gut stringed instruments because they can't use regular magnetic pickups.

@@morganmatta I started reading some info on them and went way down the rabbit hole and found a wealth of shit I didn't know. I should have remembered about tourmaline but now they're using ceramic for some applications....wow.
