This lift used to be a really safe haven from the powder madness when I was a kid skiing with my dad. But now,, post-2015 this area is now home to a family-friendly terrain pod with a new terrain park into it, screwing the lift ride time, capacity and even the speed and is more of like a 9 minute ride to it's top. I would only ride this lift if I take a Gad 2 expert run that warrants a trip up the "Baby Slower" since it's expert terrain is so expansive.
I wouldn’t say this is a true beginner lift, as Chickadee is not too far. I don’t mind the speed, as the chairs are closely spaced and the ride is not that long, only 5-6 minutes. This would be a bit better if it ran faster tho
It's a ghost town over on Baby Thunder! Where was everyone?
In Mineral Basin and Gad Valley lol

This area of the mountain is so cute! Great videos :-)
Thanks. I feel that Baby Thunder is an underutilized section, as it was quiet when I checked it out.
I thought this was a tiny lift, but it has a huge length.
It seemed longer because it was running slow. 1966 feet isn’t terribly long.
