if you are solo then play with others as this makes the game way more fun and easier to play, also try only selling to quota and saving the rest of your scrap for the next quota
Some of your tips are literally trash and shouldnt be recommended to anybody. 1. You can keep loot inside. When its Stormy outside you even have to do it and maybe you need to quickly loot the area and place the loot at one area before you bring it outside. 2. You Beehive tactic Shows that you do not know how to deal with them. Beehives should always be brought back alone without other players in the area. Otherwise the bees will roam the entire map and easily kill players especially if they weigh quite a bit. This is the reason i even die to bees because other players seem to not know how to bring them back. 3. You can bring stun grenades with you but you dont have to. The only Real reason you would even want one is for the forest Keeper or landmines(only if you are good with it). Other enemys can be easily dealt with without the stun.
another thing i dont understand is waiting until later in the day to put hives on the ships deck, if you wait, youre most likely going to also have to deal with dogs, giants, or leviathans, which if dealt with properly, the latter two wont be THAT bad, but it still doesnt make sense to wait till its late in the day
