The libertines are the best band in the World!! I'm from Colombia, South America and i hope see someday The Libertines in concert. ¡¡Libertinos, los amo!!
If you never take the time to understand the past, what hope do you have of understanding the future? For me, this film really captures the appeal and the truth of the band. Thanks, Roger.
Roger Sargent this film is beautiful. Completely encompasses what the libertines are all about. What they mean to the fans, what they mean to each other. I love the 3d-ness if that's a word. And the soundtrack is beautifully disjointed but somehow flows.( not quite sure what I'm on about as I'm not very technical) Do you know if anyone done any proper filming of the hyde park show? Or ally pally shows? But yeah. Great film.
@@luciamariaortegaflores4529 last band that meant something to many people. But im sure there are plenty of younger kids who say the same about new bands that we haven't heard of.
Andrea Daconto, you are absolutely right. The Hyde park "reunion"was the most disappointing night I can remember. A lot to do with the abysmal organising and the huge thirst I could not quench due to the drinks stands allowing people to push in constantly making it literally impossible to buy a drink. I would have paid ten pounds for a bottle of water. That aside the gig was uninspiring. The crowd was full of thuggish lads or teenage girls thriving on the rebel status of the band. So mostly people wanted the caricature of the libertines. I saw a tribute band that night. None of the magic or feeling I have been used to with them and Babyshambles.
Hey, Great content! I’d love to talk to you about a potential business opportunity. Is there an email I could contact you at? Thanks and keep up the good work!
Roger Sargent Oh that would be great! Because many of us who coudn't go to the gigs saw only footage from fans, which is usually in bad quality. But anyways, thank you for all the work you do for The Libertines, the fans love you!
