I'm halfway through the video, but if the API is making dB queries to return data, why not make individual endpoints to make more specific requests, like getPostTitles
instead of getting all posts then extracting titles

Good question, whilst that is a work around, it does not tally with Rest standards and it is not a scalable solution. Bear in mind that the API system will usually not serve mobile clients alone, it’s usually serving other clients as well. I hope that makes sense!
