Hello brother Mike! Per our correspondence I watched this video. I never knew anything about the East African revival. But this video was extremely helpful and encouraging to know how the Keswick movement was such a strong under current to this move of the Holy Spirit. I have been to South Africa many times. I used to travel there regularly on business. And I found a solid core of believers who were truly evangelical and Christ centered. I always wondered what was the source of this in sub-Saharan Africa, but perhaps the echos of the East African revival were still felt in South Africa back in the early 2000’s.
Thank you mike And God bless you 🙏 I’m impressed by the story, my late dad having full participated in Evangelizing walking on foot and on small bicycle in villages of Burunga currently kazo district Uganda 🇺🇬 He passed away 2022 at 109 years We really need second phase of revival to repurpose our nation and entire region 🙏
Not known to me. Thanks Mike. I remember many believers in Nairobi from Anglican Church. Clandestine sin ! Not hidden from God. Decay, deadness--- alienated from power of God. Revive us again! Why wouldn't we all want the dimensions of Vhrist in our lives, our gatherings? The height depth breadth of His being. Nothing can be accomplished without His power (power of the Spirit, Pentecost) When they prayed according to His will, the Lord gave the petitions they desired of HIM. We praise you Jesus; what Christ had done for sinners🎶 Deep remorse for sin Love for brethren Overcame Acts 7:51 stiffnecked Deep submission to Him Thanks for your Lord's Day evening message Current dictator in Uganda May the Lord bless us with revival before persecution....
Fun fact, thanks to the east African revival, almost all people in southwestern Uganda, rwanda, Burundi and north Western Tanzania has "Christian surnames". For example, my name "Tumusiime" means "let us thank Him". Prior to the revival, we were named after events, circumstances at birth, great leaders, ancestors etc.
Very encouraging, thank you. I had not heard of the East African revival.
Needed in the USA too and of course in my own heart!
