Rory: what to make of the fact that they blocked and/or deleted your number after 1 month of NC where you did not reach out to them or bother them. Is that the final nail in the coffin?
I just let him go. He wanted to be with the other woman why would I want to be a choice. Been there done that. No more chances for him. I faced him and told him he hurt me to much to be phoning me just leave me alone. He won't even go places where he might see me. WHY??. He was the one who did the shit show. a similar thing happened to me too, i messaged after 4 months of nc just to say hi and to say hope they r doing good, then saw they unfriended me on snap, (we hadnt messaged on snap in ages before this) and only snap, not where i messaged her or anything else lol

my ex blocked me on instagram 6 weeks post breakup / NC. we didn’t even follow each other, i unfollowed her on all socials the first day of the breakup. saw her hanging out with a mutual friend and they tagged her but i couldn’t tap her account, blocked. i saw her comment on a mutual friends post a few days ago, so i know the block was recent. thinking about it, it’s probably because she is hurting. that’s good for an eventual reconciliation, but it still stings. unfortunately, it’s out of my control. all we can do is push forward and keep growing.
I didn't block my ex wife, but ignored any text that did not concern our kids. She showed up at my work about "taxes". She has been in a couple relationships since the divorce, even telling me she still loved me. Now she is engaged after 8 months dating a former high school classmate. I told her goodbye at my sons wedding. I told her that we have no reason to communicate as our boys are adults. She still texted me happy birthday. And even asked if I could sell her a car, as that is my job. Apparently her fiancee` wanted to buy it for her. She has not messaged me since April 9th.
I’m literally living my life but I do check on her just to see she’s doing and she’s happy. I’m happy for her so it’s no hate on my end. We’re not even friends…. Lol I just thinks it’s interesting

The 9th of this month she broke up with me, claiming she needs space to clear her mind and work on her physical health. Our relationship was ok, although there was things were we needed to work on as a couple. She was going through depression and constantly was reminding me. Towards the end of the first week, she texts me furious complaining to me, asking why I’ve reached out to her coworker and her sister, which I left her on read. Moving onto the second week, I notice she blocks me on instagram but not my mom ? Absolutely did not reach out prior to her action. Obviously didn’t react to it.

No, you are okay, Emily. Of course, every situation is different. We’re all on this video because we’re upset and worried and frustrated for one reason or another with an ex-partner. But based on what you said, it sounds like the person you called had a moment of intense anger or panic or some sort of mix of the two and just decided it was easier for HIM to erase you from his phone. Out of sight, out of mind…(of course that doesn’t work nearly as well as he hopes it does). My guess is that he’ll unblock you eventually. You can prepare what you want to say to him, try and communicate, because that’s the healthy thing to do…but remember your own value 🔥

It feels like my ex secretly spies on me on Twitter. Cuz he is following me on Twitter right now. He started following me on Twitter after he saw me in public and I got a text from him saying I don't know why you're running away from me stay away from my house I wasn't even near his house. I said what I do is none of your business. Was it wrong that I said that to him? like he doesn't need to know that I go see a family member that lives near him as well. I can't control that people I know lives near him. I really I can't. And now it made me feel frightened and scared. His family watches what I do too. He goes silent after I confront him. My ex texted me a few days after unfollowing me asking me how’s everything and sent over ten messages bragging about how great her life is now. I told her congratulations and I hope everything works out for her. It seems like she’s trying anything to get a reaction out of me or to one-up me. If you were truly this happy why would you reach out to brag to your ex. My ex never was a person who bragged or played mind games. It’s amazing how immature they can be after the breakup.

When she last reached out she had given me a one word response to her saying she was hanging out at her parents house. I said “cool” she replied “absolutely.” It was then that I let the convo die and didn’t hit her up again, mainly because of HER reaching out the previous night , then ghosting me! Then following up w me to apologize but with an obvious lie. It became a situation where she was disrespecting me and in order to maintain dignity, I had to step away. Now this with the unmatch! I’m the opposite I block my ex when after few months he message me ( when we our in lockdown fir the first time) but I know his just being nice but when he likes my post in IG I gif confused so for my mental health and healing I block him. It’s hard but I n the end I choose me. He dump me because he got severe anxiety and told me I will suffer with him. Now I just pray for his healing.
I am on the other end of the side, as anxious/anxiety ridden dumpee and sharing my perspective: I was blocked and I also like to believe he was doing it for his own sanity. Rationally I understand and also understand him prioritising his balance. But did it hurt? Badly! I feel like I never existed, as if I am expected to vanish. I would have preferred him saying this to me like an adult, sharing his need for space and in a empathetic way. I could have owned my shortcomings as well. I seriously feel if only people could be more empathetic towards each other, at the end of a relationship or friendship, with boundaries communicated and asked to be respected,, with kindness, it would heal both parties more quickly, independently… At the end of the day it is all about balance between mind and heart 🙂

I understand know contact is for personal growth and honestly being a dumpee is probably the best thing that can happen to anyone. Same here. My ex blocked me everywhere last Friday and I never reached out to her. It’s been a month I’ve been in no contact. She had already unfollowed me on instagram but went back and blocked me and then blocked me on WhatsApp. I had changed my bio on instagram that morning and she blocked me that evening. I don’t know if she saw it and got mad. Idk but I never once bothered her. Maybe they get upset that we aren’t reaching out and want to get a reaction.
@@WishesandWonder perhaps, the least we can take from it is that they’re thinking about us, for good or bad. I think it could be one of 3 things - 1: Because they expected us to chase, and us not chasing creates a loss of power and in an attempt to regain it, they block us. Could also be to see if we’d notice. 2: They truly want to get over us AND/OR they really miss us, and our profiles remaining on social media make it harder. They may expect us to reach out if we were the cause of the breakup. 3: To elicit a reaction, the worst thing we could’ve done is reach out and chase as this would give them satisfaction and would make attraction drop, even if it was high.
@@ultra6014 I agree completely. It seems like it could be for one of these things or a combination of them. My ex has been playing games since the breakup and tried multiple times to get my attention on social media and other platforms but I ignored them so I’m kind of leaning towards reason 1 or 3. It’s been tough being blocked but I know it will get better with time. Stay strong and I wish you luck!

My ex also copied me when I changed my bio on twitter the other day. I put my occupation and a quote and the next day she did the same on hers. She put her occupation and a quote. It’s so weird. She blocked me on mostly everything yet copies me. I think even they don’t understand why they are doing the things they do lol. It makes no sense.

I am in no contact since two month and he blocked me last week on facebook. We weren't even friends there anymore. I didn't comment, liked anything to him or contacted him. I posted only a few pictures of my activities. But he still watches all of my whatsapp stories and still has saved my number. Why would he block me only on facebook? She didn't block me but she muted me. The weird thing is that, i have wrote a book and she helped me publish, helped in the presentation etc. And she stopped liking the posts on the Book Page. Hello, for me it is a riddle, we were 17 years best friends, got together for 1 year, suddenly, she felt like, she is missing the 17 years friendship, but she loves me. she has a doughter, and her doughter called me daddy, suddenly she went, that is way to quik for her, and then she broke up, per phone, it was to quik and she need help, because she loves me, but she misses the friendship and so on. then i told her, tell me that in my face, i deserve it. then she came to me, we talked, she cried, we kissed. then we drove to her home, and slept that night togethter. because she wantet to work on her and on our relationship. then on the next day. she broke up again, with the words, i love you. but my friends told me too, break up. then i tried one time to call her, she called me as*hole and f*uck you. out of the blue. and blocked me every where. no contact since 3 month, we broke up nearly 4 month ago and no contact to her little doughter. she told me, like few weeks after the break up, she is askin all the time when i am comming back( her doughter). and yeah no idea. last week she was asking my friends about me, how i am doing. and she got on instagram as profile picture, where we was together on a concert. since few weeks, but she dosnt reached out to me. that is confusing. i mean i know her for 18 years. we had for 1 year, a tiny family. together. and yeah the best what i can do, is after she insultet me for no reason, is to stay silent, and take it, and work on me. but that is really tough.

I haven’t contacted my ex for 8 weeks and she blocked me everywhere on Thursday for no reason!
I was neglectful in the relationship and she broke up with me, I understand that I should be the one to reach out, but the last time we spoke, she told me to move on and we’re never getting back together.
What should I do?
Same here. My ex blocked me everywhere last Friday and I never reached out to her. It’s been a month I’ve been in no contact. She had already unfollowed me on instagram but went back and blocked me and then blocked me on WhatsApp. I had changed my bio on instagram that morning and she blocked me that evening. I don’t know if she saw it and got mad. Idk but I never once bothered her. Maybe they get upset that we aren’t reaching out and want to get a reaction.
@@WishesandWonder perhaps, the least we can take from it is that they’re thinking about us, for good or bad. I think it could be one of 3 things -
1: Because they expected us to chase, and us not chasing creates a loss of power and in an attempt to regain it, they block us. Could also be to see if we’d notice.
2: They truly want to get over us AND/OR they really miss us, and our profiles remaining on social media make it harder. They may expect us to reach out if we were the cause of the breakup.
3: To elicit a reaction, the worst thing we could’ve done is reach out and chase as this would give them satisfaction and would make attraction drop, even if it was high.
@@ultra6014 I agree completely. It seems like it could be for one of these things or a combination of them. My ex has been playing games since the breakup and tried multiple times to get my attention on social media and other platforms but I ignored them so I’m kind of leaning towards reason 1 or 3. It’s been tough being blocked but I know it will get better with time. Stay strong and I wish you luck!

@@ultra6014 Same here lol. But it was only my ex’s friends who deleted me off of Pokémon Go that we used to play together. She didn’t delete me. My ex also copied me when I changed my bio on twitter the other day. I put my occupation and a quote and the next day she did the same on hers. She put her occupation and a quote. It’s so weird. She blocked me on mostly everything yet copies me. I think even they don’t understand why they are doing the things they do lol. It makes no sense.
Well she blocked me after revealing she had a bf leaving my house last month.. makes no sense why she’s come over nc day 29 and still blocked :/ it’s alright tho I not broken NC

My ex broke up with me about 5 months ago we ended on pretty good terms and it was months without contact but then I was scrolling thru Snapchat and see she blocked me. What could it mean? We still wanted to stay friends however idk if she changed her mind or what
Also about a month or two in I asked if we could try again like an idiot which she said no to in the nicest way she could and then we didn’t talk since then
She blocked me and unblocked me then blocked me then unblocked me again… weird she still has some pictures of us kissing on her instagram feed she only deleted the most reasoned one. Idk

I am in no contact since two month and he blocked me last week on facebook. We weren't even friends there anymore. I didn't comment, liked anything to him or contacted him. I posted only a few pictures of my activities. But he still watches all of my whatsapp stories and still has saved my number. Why would he block me only on facebook? Since the breakup I didn't contact him
She didn't block me but she muted me. The weird thing is that, i have wrote a book and she helped me publish, helped in the presentation etc. And she stopped liking the posts on the Book Page. Its kinda mean. Yes we broke up but that doesn’t mean you stop supporting your ex's creative endevours. Its like she is trying to believe that i don't exist

Hello, for me it is a riddle, we were 17 years best friends, got together for 1 year, suddenly, she felt like, she is missing the 17 years friendship, but she loves me. she has a doughter, and her doughter called me daddy, suddenly she went, that is way to quik for her, and then she broke up, per phone, it was to quik and she need help, because she loves me, but she misses the friendship and so on. then i told her, tell me that in my face, i deserve it. then she came to me, we talked, she cried, we kissed. then we drove to her home, and slept that night togethter. because she wantet to work on her and on our relationship. then on the next day. she broke up again, with the words, i love you. but my friends told me too, break up. then i tried one time to call her, she called me as*hole and f*uck you. out of the blue. and blocked me every where. no contact since 3 month, we broke up nearly 4 month ago and no contact to her little doughter. she told me, like few weeks after the break up, she is askin all the time when i am comming back( her doughter). and yeah no idea. last week she was asking my friends about me, how i am doing. and she got on instagram as profile picture, where we was together on a concert. since few weeks, but she dosnt reached out to me. that is confusing. i mean i know her for 18 years. we had for 1 year, a tiny family. together. and yeah the best what i can do, is after she insultet me for no reason, is to stay silent, and take it, and work on me. but that is really tough.
What if almost a year later I send a friend request and he blocks me? What does it mean?
It means that they want to move on a year after it happened. They don't want to go backwards because it hurts.
