what i dislike about the robbery system is that because every robbery in the group has to be finished before continuing the cycle it leads to long periods of time of waiting for people to finish robbing
the reason why the robbery system sucks is because of how terrible the grouping is. one of the robbery groups includes powerplant, cargo plane and passenger train. if you choose to rob powerplant first, youll miss the plane, while if you rob plane first, another player will rob powerplant in the meantime leaving no opportunity for you to rob it. there are also other issues such as having one of the groups only include robberies on the crater city side of the map, making all players (+cops) concentrate in the same side of the map. my solution? make the robberies in a group random each time instead of being predefined.
That’s fair but I feel like having the players cluster around the areas where the robberies are active is a good thing, it forces them to interact more. I feel like that’s the main point
@@StarMageOfficial you can't really do powerplant in that order unless you're playing on a vip server. it takes like 30s for the average player to do powerplant so on a public server with active criminals it is impossible to make it in time in this order

I hate that the lvl4 bases are so forgotten. While cop one can be sometimes used for getting weapons(because you dont need a key to get here) and getting the escapebot, volcano and military are completely useless. Only good thing u can get from there is an escapebot. The problem with they is (excluding the cop one) that they are in different bases. Lets look on the volcano one - why would you go there? You got 2 weapons and lambo which you can take even faster from the normal base. My suggestion? Make a garage and armory in these bases and make them far from different ones(e.g the volcano one in the crater city, it would be useful there).
Hot take: The jailbreak anti isn't great and false bans are real! Asimo claims the anti cheat is 100% accurate but thats a lie. I work in the technology field and nothing about it is 100% perfect, just like humans.
Of course it ain’t 100% perfect, nothing is, but I don’t think the devs have ever claimed it is perfect. From what I’ve seen, it is still quite accurate and the overwhelming majority of bans are deserved, so I’d want to see some strong evidence if people think it is falsely banning

ultimate hot take: a lot of jailbreak updates suck. now no offense to the dev team, they do a great job, but many things that they add make no sense for a prison game. i understand them adding cars and textures, but at the same time, they add them nearly every single update, and most content on jailbreak i see is just about cars, so u would really think it is a car game, when it was intended to be a prison game. hot take before i break down the ult one: i loved the oil rig, i think it is completely overhated and many ppl r hating on it for being "too hard" but i disagree, i think it is perfectly fine as it is, it forces us to use the forgotten boats, it gives us decent pay, u have to fight NPCs, it is fun and doesnt really ever get boring 1 more hot take before we get to the main topic: more limited cars is a good thing for the game. feel however u want abt the limited cars (i personally like them) but before they added the new scorpion, the game had around 25k players on avg, but now it has around 35k players on avg, i even saw it having around 40k numbers dont lie. hot take 1: robberies r way too ez. yeah say this is bad all u want, but most bank floors r boring and too simply made, like the basement and the mint, where u jump over some lasers, i feel like they should either add a lot more harder floors or just revamp the ones that they have, since u can complete them too quickly and too easily. same goes for robberies like the museum. the casino is well made too, but i still think it should be a bit harder to rob though. hot take 2: remember how i said the game doesnt really feel like a prison game anymore? as i said in robbery 1, robberies should get more attention, and i think they should add more robberies more often, i understand we have this whole new robbery system, but if they add more robberies to groups, they can just increase the time u need for the robberies. there r many concepts like for example a yacht robbery, a car dealership robbery, a gold storage, a mine, etc.. theres a lot they can do. hot take 3: this is gonna be my most controversial one and i completely understand why u would disagree with this, but they should add different characters with different abilities. now ik what yall r thinking, superheroes? not really. these characters would give u different boosts depending on what team ur playing on, like for example a concept for a character that can give u 10% more money on a robbery, a character with their own weapon, a character with their own car (that u can only drive if ur playing as that character), etc.. and this could be also good for seasons since some of us r tired of just cars. the way u would obtain them is by buying and doing quests (which i wont really explain but i can if u want me to).
I acc love the character ideas. That seems like a very fun mechanic to spice up the game. As of rn playing jailbreak is very boring unless im trolling ppl. This would defo make it a lot more fun.

About the robbery cycles... I think they were a good addition, but not well implemented. For example, having the Cargo Plane and Passenger Train opening with the Power Plant needs a rework since it's difficult to hit all three robberies. I think that the two trains should switch spots. Double-robbing the Passenger Train and Cargo Ship will be a good strategy for this. The Cargo Train pays out instantly and should be robbed first, then the plane and the Power Plant in that order.
I’d really love to see a part 2, in case you do make one, here’s my hot takes again in case you want them: 1. The 2017 Winter Update is overhated. Unlike recent winter updates, it added a good variety of content and features. Many will say the train was untested and sucked, but will go and love the 2022 winter update, which featured the CEO, which is even worse than the train. There’s a bug where the CEO can kill you through the walls that’s been there the whole robbery’s lifespan, and Badimo refuses to fix it. But people love that and hate the 2017 winter update. 2. Old Jailbreak was better not in the sense of it was more entertaining, that’s just a stupid argument, old Jailbreak was better because of the updates. Back then we rarely got cars and cosmetics, and they felt special when added. In updates now, that’s all we get. So there’s no sense of excitement with updates now. Basically, the only part of old JB we miss was the updates. If anyone’s prepared to keep riding on the “you’re overnostalgic” train and ignore JB veterans, be prepared for more of the games testers to quit, like mango_majesty on Twitter. I really dislike the new robbery system, it slows down grinding and makes the robbery contracts more tedious. If the devs really wanted to draw attention to forgotten robberies like the trains, they should’ve tried revamping them (and I don’t mean just cosmetic updates) Trading was simultaneously the best and worst update to occur in Jailbreak. It was a much needed update, but things like black markets and awful value lists give trading a bad name to some. Congrats if you’ve read this far 🤣
a part 2 would be cool since i've got a LOT of hot takes that i feel like sharing 1. all of Critstyx's contributions to the game were all terrible and only harmed the game's future. trading caused a majority of future updates to shift toward the trading community as they value making profits more than improved gameplay. hyperchromes are a practical joke of a progression system as it's based on playing the robberies repeatedly for a slither of a chance to obtain one (in which the current robbery system doesn't help with at all). you're essentially gambling your time away. the CEO is one of the worst boss fights I've ever had the displeasure of enduring in a video game. and Crew Battles just suck. I don't think that's a bold claim, they're just really bad. it was honestly a relief seeing Badimo let them go. 2. (probably a very cold opinion) the Jailbreak "lore" is laughable. I see a lot of people make it out to be great, but it's quite literally nothing. the CEO is barely even a character, and there is no theme or message to take away from anything seen. It really doesn't warrant all the theories and fan art that makes it seem like something cool. 3. For all those reasons, I believe the 2022 Winter Update is the worst update the game has ever received, period. it was a bunch of build-up towards a horridly designed boss fight where you fight a cardboard cutout. when I first played it, I felt nothing. it made me quit the game. (also i will never forgive them for making darkest purple paint a reward for season 13, effectively squashing an opportunity for someones creation to be in the game which is an insult to community creators)
Also I see what the devs wanted to do with OG seasons, but the community hated on OG S4 too much and they cancelled it (they were trying to do in a way that every 2nd season gives vehicles and every other season gives cosmetics, its a fine system in my opinion because there arent as many limiteds and people aren't missing out on much)
I know a lot of people hate how the game has slipped away from its original values of being a simple cops+robbers game, but I don’t think that’s a bad thing. I think the game has progressed very naturally and well throughout the years and the fact that a 7 year old game still gets the amount of players that Jailbreak does is an achievement worth noting. I don’t think that the whole culture of car collecting and trading is unhealthy, I personally am a big fan of the car collecting subculture within the game and think it’s a great idea to keep people hooked on the game if they have a collection to be proud of. I personally don’t trade but I think trading is a good way to add depth to the game in the form of values etc. and add a little bit of extra balance and challenge.
making it a car focused game literally goes against the core idea of what the game creatively was in the first place. it's not need for speed, it's a cops and robbers action game. making it anything else would make it not jailbreak.
I do kind of agree with the one that said limiters are bad. I got a p1, did a trade that I thought was a steal, but some just said “why trade og p1?” And now I am sad every time I think of a p1 ( it is my favorite car) but I think limiters should not be removed

As a cop and as a criminal, the override acceleration once you know how to control it can easily outrun any cop or pop the tires of any criminal even using other great cars like the torpedo, eclaire, concept, roadster, aperture or even other scorpion users, the key is to use it with brakes level 2 to control the speed when you need more handling without losing the override acceleration, the scorpion is easily one of the best cars but hardest to master.
About Blackhawk: I was playing today and someone came to plane in Blackhawk, I was surprised how small it looks near private jet. I think private jet shall be a bit smaller, or army heli a bit bigger.
Hot take: Successor is one of, if not the best hyper car in the game - it’s fast - has a fast acceleration - amazing breaks - actually able to be purchased and you don’t have to trade for it - decently cheap (compared to other cars) I have some really good cars and I still use the successor.

Successor is really underrated and hated due to ıt's close competitors being eclaire and roadster. Eclaire has better top speed and roadster has better acceleration for 50K less but successor just feels like it will not go down without a fight. I catched many high profile cars and escaped many other high profile cars with this due to this
i love the new robbery system. The cash diff isn’t crazy enough for me to really be concerned. I love it as way more cops come to arrest, and it’s really fun to fight against them. The adrenaline of getting chased by a cop is rly fun.
I mean that just ruins the point of a rare car, its rare because most people dont have/ cant get it. Otherwise the rarity and value of cars is just a bit useless.

I didn't want to play Jailbreak because my PC is just bad. My computer didn't lag as much in this game before, but it does now. I usually get 20-30 FPS, and while it doesn't bother me most of the time, it puts me at a HUGE disadvantage when playing against skilled players. I avoided videogames the whole summer, and it has definitely taken away from the experience.

I started season 20, but I’ll try to make a hot take. Cop team needs a (reward) buff. Do I necessarily have to play on criminal team to grind hyperchromes? I was thinking it would be better if doing the bank truck, busting bank robberies, and arresting criminals with a bounty of 15,000 or high should allow you to do a roll for hyperchromes.
Glad to hear your thoughts on my take. Yes, it allows people to get cosmetics and vehicles that they otherwise wouldn't have been able to get, myself included, and I think we can neglect the "trash youtubers" part because the only one i really felt contempt for was 4FREE who is now banned. My biggest gripe with trading that I don't think you really covered in the video is that the community makes up the values. I know it can be cool to have a separate community having discussions about values, but you can't deny that some of the values on specific items are quite BS. Checker texture is a good example. And one more thing which goes back to my argument "Made people only love/hate items because of value." You look at when new seasons and the grand prize are announced. A lot of people will just say "Ugh, this won't be worth 30mil like my beloved soap bar. This vehicle is TRASH." Yes I know, that's just how some people act and you can't change that, but I just feel bad for community creators that get hate and even dox attempts just because they contributed some otherwise cool car to the game, and won't be worth much in trading. But yeah, that's all I have to say. I'm sorry if y'all think I ranted too much. I do have some ideas that could be implemented to make trading better, but I'm not gonna share them here cuz it's a bit of a tangent.

My hot take would probably the lack of expensive non-limited vehciles in Jailbreak. At this rate once you achieve every car in the game, alongside having alot of unused cash (e.g me having 107M) you literally have nothing else to do
@@NoobFreak thatd be sick, there could be spots around the map that it can land, and it can take you to the other spots, for example you could have one on the crime port, call it and wait for it to land, then choose another spot ( for example one outside volcano ) and itd take you there
We need more vehicles with prices like the scorpion or concept car. Vehicles are way too cheap the instant you obtain the volt or somethin similar, with the volt I find it really easy to make at LEAST 200k per hour solo (albeit in a VIP server, although you can still make at least 100k per hour in a public). Issue is, once you have one of those vehicles, it's just way too easy to obtain money.
Trading was a worthless addition and I have/never will trade again in my life. Trading just ruined the economy and dilated a lot of the exclusivity of OG vehicles. I feel like adding something on par with the Torpedo would have been a better choice than just throwing trading into the fray.
No hot take, just, i used to play the game everyday, and i mean.. every. single. day. for around 3 years straight. And i just kinda thought it was time to move on right as they started adding trading. Because, it took me a lot of work, and time, to get that feel of getting that limited vehicle, it was just so cool to have something that not all other players had, it just felt, G O O D. And oh, what? they added a mechanic that completely defeats the purpose of that? yup. They basically just threw it away. It was a little crushing to know almost anyone can get them, instead of having to put in a full month at least to get those limited, level 10 cars. (or hover cars)

Hot take: cops should have a system where there are certain entries to robberies so they wont just camp I think it would be alot more fun for the cop team and there could also be a warning (like the bank) where the cops enter
To be honest,i dont have anything to complain about,i enjoy playing with friends and doing challenges like fight and snipe a bunch of cops. But my hot take is that escapebot is actually good,and my unpopular one is that if you have like a lot of JB money about 10M you're not someone special.
One thing, it doesn't matter what car you have, only skill matters. I've caught many javelins and scorpions with a just Camaro because I had outsmarted them or shot out their tire, ect.

I have a sort of distaste against this new robbery system. I will say, that it had some benefits by giving other robberies a shine in the spotlight. However, I'd say it was handled incorrectly. For starters, it made it SIGNIFICANTLY easier to camp stores which is so annoying. Since the robberied that opened were in the same region, it made it easier to camp those robberies which made the game unfun for me. I feel like Cop needs a nerf in some way or form if you wanna make it get more money since it is criminal but a lot stronger. I played a couple times and all I had to do was use the default loadout cuz cop is that op in combat. I feel like if you made it so they cannot see robberies being opened unless an alarm was set off it'd make the game more enjoyable for me as well as nerfing the taser, handcuffs, and the roll mechanic for cops cuz the roll mechanic is so annoying since it made it so cops could skillesly tase you and arrest you across the map. Every cop I went against (even the rich ones) only used the taser/cuffs which says a lot about the cop role. I feel like they should also revert the nerfs on boat and mansion since I felt those to be unnecessary. Criminal didn't need a nerf and Cop didn't need a buff. The one thing balancing cop was the little money they made and since that fell off the window Jailbreak has become infested with cops which just make the game less and less fun. They should also make it so that if cops die, they get put in a hospital for 20-30 seconds to recover from their injuries, so it is similar to when cops arrest criminals. That's what I personally think Asimo should do to make the game more enjoyable.
Y'all, yes i have no life, but hot take: playing police is being an asshole, + it's a noob team cuz you arrive, spam button, shoot outta taser, press more button, and you have a ton of money. The criminal team relies on guns and aim, and robbing is just more fun than arriving and clicking buttons. The police team need weapons or atleast pick a loadout before spawning, the pistol is just bad against every other gun plus criminals rob in groups, and there is usually just one good cop in the cop team
Also about limited cars: They are great. A lot of people have more than 10M cash and they have nothing to buy. Imo there shall be more limited stuff, not cars, maybe just some cosmetics, that will cost around 250K and be available for 3-5 days. I think it will make the game a bit more fun..
The new hyperchromes are absolutely abominable. Don’t get me wrong, they don’t look TOO bad when you use them right, but dude… when they changed it, it made it look like dirt bruh it didn’t even look shiny anymore. They seriously need to change it back so it ACTUALLY looks like a chrome.
When it comes to old vs new jailbreak, I think you also have to take in the fact that each update added a lot more to the game. This isn't to say that newer updates aren't cool, but in the times of old jailbreak whenever things were added they felt very new to us, nowadays most updates are cosmetic updates and there isn't as much hype for newer updates like before. Like, I feel like it is much harder to newer robberies to stand out from already existing ones than a few years ago.
Hot take: 2022 live event was the best live event in gaming history and the game only slightly improved past that point. Also the robbery systems should not include tomb or oil rig. rolling isn't the worst thing added but it lowered the quality and balance of the game. Limiteds are funner, we need at least 1 more 1m car and at least 2 more cars concept value or higher. The camper and badger suck so bad and the only reason i have them is for collection purposes. The scorpion is perfect and we need more unique (not faster just cooler) limiteds, 2020-2022 was the golden ages of jailbreak, OG days were very fun and had awesome updates but did not have as much content and new jailbreak just has many things i don't like. Finally, apartments, police HQ, jetback mountain, cargo plane calling and mili base in the desert should NOT have been changed/removed (or shoudl have been changed differently)
9:30 My problem is that it might help, but the really expensive, really limited car owners will be put moslty in empty or very few player servers allowing a more easier (and more efficent) crim grind with experienced players. Which will make a ps almost useless.
My hot take: Is that the people being toxic when you arrest them or kill them always wanting to 1v1. It gets so annoying but with the one saying people are being out classed thats what the point of the game is to be the best thats why trading was also made is so people could get good cars that were off sale.
Hi noobfreak, i agree with pretty much a lot of points as they make sense as some even come towards an opinion, but I wanna comment about your bias towards the army heli. I'm a pvper so I don't like the army heli that much as it only has 75 hp for a vehicle this big, vehicle with this much seats which makes it really really unbalanced. The OG Monster truck, monster truck, Goliath and Sentinel (really underrated and it's really good and is better then the monster truck and og monster truck in everyway, including bullet piercing and HP) and the OG Monster truck, monster truck and Sentinel obviously have way more HP so they're way more beneficial with escapes. Some may say "HAHA SKILL ISSUE" but they haven't really tried it themselves and say stuff they like to say without trying stuff themselves. Although the army heli is still a really decent vehicle, but there are better options then it. Good video though, Noobfreak!
oh also forgot to add about the robbery system, the robbery system basically ruined jailbreak grinding and made the cop team overpowered and for grinding cops is way better for cash, also this system completely killed hyperchrome grinding (idrc about hyperchrome grinding but it's still worth to point out) but yes, that's all of the stuff I have to say i guess
the robbery system would work better with bigger groups and if it was timed (basically instead of waiting for the next group because one thing is open, each group will be timed so once the timer is up, no matter what it will switch)
I think jailbreak vehicles are pretty cheap. There is a really large variety of cars et cetera and they are all under 1 million (concept and scorpion excluded). If there are some vehicles that are like 5 million, players would play and grind more to get that. As they wouldn’t be limited you don’t have to rush for it.
I like Maverick. I know everyone wants hypercar, but hey: Maverick looks great, has a decent stats for a truck and has 3 passenger seats. That's very cool for seasonal vehicle imo!
i completely disagree with the limiteds are bad one. if you played after the limiteds were in game, then thats your fault for not playing sooner. it also makes the limiteds more valuable if there are more players without them. also, if you do have them, it gives you that feel good feeling because you have something no one will ever be able to get. also, there are many more chances for new players to get limiteds. the game would feel pointless if there werent any limiteds.

I actually love the robbery system but that's because I grind in VIP servers only. I do one group then immediately after another opens its just basically robbery after robbery. And I think a hot take I have is trading is not for Jailbreak. I do like how it let me get the pixel and blue pixel skins and the rocket spoilers but what's the point of grinding and being excited about a hyped car when you can just trade for it. Jailbreak is a cops vs robbers game but they've kinda just left that and went for a car simulator.
What i dont like about jailbreak is probably the contract reset time limit since it resets after 4-5days people arent able to finish it maybe due to classes starting and having a personal event, another i hate about jailbreak is that the hackers can join the game and ruins the point of the game of working together and robbing correctly unlike auto robbing which is what a hacker did in a server that i was in. He/she robbed every stores in the server making it hard for me and my other teammates to be able to rob.Another thing i hate about jailbreak are the people with trading vip pass ,like why do you need to spend money on something that should just available for free what i mean is we dont need the vip on our nametag but to let us be able to teleport to the boat for the trading hub,some people got arrested trying to go to the trading hub boat.And the last thing i dont like about jailbreak is when climbing a ladder there is a bug wherein i fall from the ladder due to the hatch outside the bank when trying to escape ,they rlly need to fix that bcs i died with 6k inside the duffle bag
Because the cargo train gives more than the ship, the cargo train is strangely a more viable robbery which is not good. The nerf to cargo ship should’ve been done.
One hot take is that this game is a criminal game. Cops get nothing. They need to make cops more profitable. Maybe add duffel bag buffs to cop team as well. Playing as a cop is fun but its just too weak imo. And there is no real end goal of playing as cop whereas crims get hypers for example.
@@Metanauris yes, i do this strat. I got the scorpion within two days with it. But i still feel that cops inherently have a big disadvantage. Yuukl just makes them look good with the strat but ur average cop in a public server wont be making 500k an hour server hopping.
As someone who has had major problems with the cop team income in the past, I think the cop team rn is in a very good spot. The income is less reliable than playing as a crim, but if everything lines up, cops can make so much more than crims. However, I don’t think the team is perfect. In my “10 updates JB needs” video I suggested some improvements so check it out if you haven’t yet

Drone is overrated. It is fast. But the size of it along with low altitude allows for easy shooting down that vehicle which in my opinion outmatches the pros
I don’t know if this is a hot tech, but the police team should get something like maybe hyper gold that they can level up to but I have to get it to level 10 and you get the role every time you do an arrest or bank trunk

I think you're missing the mobile players perspective on old JB. I'd rather have to grind 10 more hours to get a vehical and have that vehical be uglier than the current ones and actually have fun in those 10 hours than have to deal with 6 buttons being shoved on one side of my screen and the cop team being literally unplayable, PC players are a minorty on roblox and catering to them is the reason I and many other players quit jailbreak.

I have a 4070 and one the newer Radeon CPUs (I forgot the exact model) and even I get less than 165 fps which is my monitors refresh rate I can play call of duty, Fortnite, and other games at a locked 165 fps this isn’t jailbreak’s fault it’s all Roblox’s fault but I do agree it keeps me away from the game

the reason why the robbery system sucks is because of how terrible the grouping is. one of the robbery groups includes powerplant, cargo plane and passenger train. if you choose to rob powerplant first, youll miss the plane, while if you rob plane first, another player will rob powerplant in the meantime leaving no opportunity for you to rob it. there are also other issues such as having one of the groups only include robberies on the crater city side of the map, making all players (+cops) concentrate in the same side of the map.
my solution? make the robberies in a group random each time instead of being predefined.
You can do both power plant and plane if youre fast enough or using the volt bike

I hate that the lvl4 bases are so forgotten. While cop one can be sometimes used for getting weapons(because you dont need a key to get here) and getting the escapebot, volcano and military are completely useless. Only good thing u can get from there is an escapebot. The problem with they is (excluding the cop one) that they are in different bases. Lets look on the volcano one - why would you go there? You got 2 weapons and lambo which you can take even faster from the normal base. My suggestion? Make a garage and armory in these bases and make them far from different ones(e.g the volcano one in the crater city, it would be useful there).

ultimate hot take: a lot of jailbreak updates suck. now no offense to the dev team, they do a great job, but many things that they add make no sense for a prison game. i understand them adding cars and textures, but at the same time, they add them nearly every single update, and most content on jailbreak i see is just about cars, so u would really think it is a car game, when it was intended to be a prison game.

1 more hot take before we get to the main topic: more limited cars is a good thing for the game. feel however u want abt the limited cars (i personally like them) but before they added the new scorpion, the game had around 25k players on avg, but now it has around 35k players on avg, i even saw it having around 40k numbers dont lie.
hot take 1: robberies r way too ez. yeah say this is bad all u want, but most bank floors r boring and too simply made, like the basement and the mint, where u jump over some lasers, i feel like they should either add a lot more harder floors or just revamp the ones that they have, since u can complete them too quickly and too easily. same goes for robberies like the museum. the casino is well made too, but i still think it should be a bit harder to rob though.
hot take 2: remember how i said the game doesnt really feel like a prison game anymore? as i said in robbery 1, robberies should get more attention, and i think they should add more robberies more often, i understand we have this whole new robbery system, but if they add more robberies to groups, they can just increase the time u need for the robberies. there r many concepts like for example a yacht robbery, a car dealership robbery, a gold storage, a mine, etc.. theres a lot they can do.
hot take 3: this is gonna be my most controversial one and i completely understand why u would disagree with this, but they should add different characters with different abilities. now ik what yall r thinking, superheroes? not really. these characters would give u different boosts depending on what team ur playing on, like for example a concept for a character that can give u 10% more money on a robbery, a character with their own weapon, a character with their own car (that u can only drive if ur playing as that character), etc.. and this could be also good for seasons since some of us r tired of just cars. the way u would obtain them is by buying and doing quests (which i wont really explain but i can if u want me to).

About the robbery cycles...
I think they were a good addition, but not well implemented. For example, having the Cargo Plane and Passenger Train opening with the Power Plant needs a rework since it's difficult to hit all three robberies.
I think that the two trains should switch spots. Double-robbing the Passenger Train and Cargo Ship will be a good strategy for this.
The Cargo Train pays out instantly and should be robbed first, then the plane and the Power Plant in that order.

I’d really love to see a part 2, in case you do make one, here’s my hot takes again in case you want them:
1. The 2017 Winter Update is overhated. Unlike recent winter updates, it added a good variety of content and features. Many will say the train was untested and sucked, but will go and love the 2022 winter update, which featured the CEO, which is even worse than the train. There’s a bug where the CEO can kill you through the walls that’s been there the whole robbery’s lifespan, and Badimo refuses to fix it. But people love that and hate the 2017 winter update.
2. Old Jailbreak was better not in the sense of it was more entertaining, that’s just a stupid argument, old Jailbreak was better because of the updates. Back then we rarely got cars and cosmetics, and they felt special when added. In updates now, that’s all we get. So there’s no sense of excitement with updates now. Basically, the only part of old JB we miss was the updates. If anyone’s prepared to keep riding on the “you’re overnostalgic” train and ignore JB veterans, be prepared for more of the games testers to quit, like mango_majesty on Twitter.
I really dislike the new robbery system, it slows down grinding and makes the robbery contracts more tedious. If the devs really wanted to draw attention to forgotten robberies like the trains, they should’ve tried revamping them (and I don’t mean just cosmetic updates)
Trading was simultaneously the best and worst update to occur in Jailbreak. It was a much needed update, but things like black markets and awful value lists give trading a bad name to some.

1. all of Critstyx's contributions to the game were all terrible and only harmed the game's future. trading caused a majority of future updates to shift toward the trading community as they value making profits more than improved gameplay. hyperchromes are a practical joke of a progression system as it's based on playing the robberies repeatedly for a slither of a chance to obtain one (in which the current robbery system doesn't help with at all). you're essentially gambling your time away. the CEO is one of the worst boss fights I've ever had the displeasure of enduring in a video game. and Crew Battles just suck. I don't think that's a bold claim, they're just really bad. it was honestly a relief seeing Badimo let them go.
2. (probably a very cold opinion) the Jailbreak "lore" is laughable. I see a lot of people make it out to be great, but it's quite literally nothing. the CEO is barely even a character, and there is no theme or message to take away from anything seen. It really doesn't warrant all the theories and fan art that makes it seem like something cool.
3. For all those reasons, I believe the 2022 Winter Update is the worst update the game has ever received, period. it was a bunch of build-up towards a horridly designed boss fight where you fight a cardboard cutout. when I first played it, I felt nothing. it made me quit the game. (also i will never forgive them for making darkest purple paint a reward for season 13, effectively squashing an opportunity for someones creation to be in the game which is an insult to community creators)

I know a lot of people hate how the game has slipped away from its original values of being a simple cops+robbers game, but I don’t think that’s a bad thing. I think the game has progressed very naturally and well throughout the years and the fact that a 7 year old game still gets the amount of players that Jailbreak does is an achievement worth noting. I don’t think that the whole culture of car collecting and trading is unhealthy, I personally am a big fan of the car collecting subculture within the game and think it’s a great idea to keep people hooked on the game if they have a collection to be proud of. I personally don’t trade but I think trading is a good way to add depth to the game in the form of values etc. and add a little bit of extra balance and challenge.

As a cop and as a criminal, the override acceleration once you know how to control it can easily outrun any cop or pop the tires of any criminal even using other great cars like the torpedo, eclaire, concept, roadster, aperture or even other scorpion users, the key is to use it with brakes level 2 to control the speed when you need more handling without losing the override acceleration, the scorpion is easily one of the best cars but hardest to master.

Successor is really underrated and hated due to ıt's close competitors being eclaire and roadster. Eclaire has better top speed and roadster has better acceleration for 50K less but successor just feels like it will not go down without a fight. I catched many high profile cars and escaped many other high profile cars with this due to this
i love the new robbery system. The cash diff isn’t crazy enough for me to really be concerned. I love it as way more cops come to arrest, and it’s really fun to fight against them. The adrenaline of getting chased by a cop is rly fun.
They should add a marketplace so people can still grind the game normally to get rare cars

I didn't want to play Jailbreak because my PC is just bad. My computer didn't lag as much in this game before, but it does now. I usually get 20-30 FPS, and while it doesn't bother me most of the time, it puts me at a HUGE disadvantage when playing against skilled players. I avoided videogames the whole summer, and it has definitely taken away from the experience.

Glad to hear your thoughts on my take. Yes, it allows people to get cosmetics and vehicles that they otherwise wouldn't have been able to get, myself included, and I think we can neglect the "trash youtubers" part because the only one i really felt contempt for was 4FREE who is now banned.
My biggest gripe with trading that I don't think you really covered in the video is that the community makes up the values. I know it can be cool to have a separate community having discussions about values, but you can't deny that some of the values on specific items are quite BS. Checker texture is a good example.
And one more thing which goes back to my argument "Made people only love/hate items because of value." You look at when new seasons and the grand prize are announced. A lot of people will just say "Ugh, this won't be worth 30mil like my beloved soap bar. This vehicle is TRASH." Yes I know, that's just how some people act and you can't change that, but I just feel bad for community creators that get hate and even dox attempts just because they contributed some otherwise cool car to the game, and won't be worth much in trading.
But yeah, that's all I have to say. I'm sorry if y'all think I ranted too much. I do have some ideas that could be implemented to make trading better, but I'm not gonna share them here cuz it's a bit of a tangent.

We need more vehicles with prices like the scorpion or concept car. Vehicles are way too cheap the instant you obtain the volt or somethin similar, with the volt I find it really easy to make at LEAST 200k per hour solo (albeit in a VIP server, although you can still make at least 100k per hour in a public). Issue is, once you have one of those vehicles, it's just way too easy to obtain money.

Trading was a worthless addition and I have/never will trade again in my life.
Trading just ruined the economy and dilated a lot of the exclusivity of OG vehicles. I feel like adding something on par with the Torpedo would have been a better choice than just throwing trading into the fray.

No hot take, just, i used to play the game everyday, and i mean.. every. single. day. for around 3 years straight. And i just kinda thought it was time to move on right as they started adding trading. Because, it took me a lot of work, and time, to get that feel of getting that limited vehicle, it was just so cool to have something that not all other players had, it just felt, G O O D. And oh, what? they added a mechanic that completely defeats the purpose of that? yup. They basically just threw it away. It was a little crushing to know almost anyone can get them, instead of having to put in a full month at least to get those limited, level 10 cars. (or hover cars)

I have a sort of distaste against this new robbery system. I will say, that it had some benefits by giving other robberies a shine in the spotlight. However, I'd say it was handled incorrectly. For starters, it made it SIGNIFICANTLY easier to camp stores which is so annoying. Since the robberied that opened were in the same region, it made it easier to camp those robberies which made the game unfun for me. I feel like Cop needs a nerf in some way or form if you wanna make it get more money since it is criminal but a lot stronger. I played a couple times and all I had to do was use the default loadout cuz cop is that op in combat. I feel like if you made it so they cannot see robberies being opened unless an alarm was set off it'd make the game more enjoyable for me as well as nerfing the taser, handcuffs, and the roll mechanic for cops cuz the roll mechanic is so annoying since it made it so cops could skillesly tase you and arrest you across the map. Every cop I went against (even the rich ones) only used the taser/cuffs which says a lot about the cop role. I feel like they should also revert the nerfs on boat and mansion since I felt those to be unnecessary. Criminal didn't need a nerf and Cop didn't need a buff. The one thing balancing cop was the little money they made and since that fell off the window Jailbreak has become infested with cops which just make the game less and less fun. They should also make it so that if cops die, they get put in a hospital for 20-30 seconds to recover from their injuries, so it is similar to when cops arrest criminals. That's what I personally think Asimo should do to make the game more enjoyable.

The criminal team relies on guns and aim, and robbing is just more fun than arriving and clicking buttons. When it comes to old vs new jailbreak, I think you also have to take in the fact that each update added a lot more to the game. This isn't to say that newer updates aren't cool, but in the times of old jailbreak whenever things were added they felt very new to us, nowadays most updates are cosmetic updates and there isn't as much hype for newer updates like before. Like, I feel like it is much harder to newer robberies to stand out from already existing ones than a few years ago.

Hot take: 2022 live event was the best live event in gaming history and the game only slightly improved past that point. Also the robbery systems should not include tomb or oil rig. rolling isn't the worst thing added but it lowered the quality and balance of the game. Limiteds are funner, we need at least 1 more 1m car and at least 2 more cars concept value or higher. The camper and badger suck so bad and the only reason i have them is for collection purposes. The scorpion is perfect and we need more unique (not faster just cooler) limiteds, 2020-2022 was the golden ages of jailbreak, OG days were very fun and had awesome updates but did not have as much content and new jailbreak just has many things i don't like. Finally, apartments, police HQ, jetback mountain, cargo plane calling and mili base in the desert should NOT have been changed/removed (or shoudl have been changed differently)

Hi noobfreak, i agree with pretty much a lot of points as they make sense as some even come towards an opinion, but I wanna comment about your bias towards the army heli. I'm a pvper so I don't like the army heli that much as it only has 75 hp for a vehicle this big, vehicle with this much seats which makes it really really unbalanced. The OG Monster truck, monster truck, Goliath and Sentinel (really underrated and it's really good and is better then the monster truck and og monster truck in everyway, including bullet piercing and HP) and the OG Monster truck, monster truck and Sentinel obviously have way more HP so they're way more beneficial with escapes. Some may say "HAHA SKILL ISSUE" but they haven't really tried it themselves and say stuff they like to say without trying stuff themselves. Although the army heli is still a really decent vehicle, but there are better options then it. Good video though, Noobfreak!
oh also forgot to add about the robbery system, the robbery system basically ruined jailbreak grinding and made the cop team overpowered and for grinding cops is way better for cash, also this system completely killed hyperchrome grinding (idrc about hyperchrome grinding but it's still worth to point out) but yes, that's all of the stuff I have to say i guess

the robbery system would work better with bigger groups and if it was timed (basically instead of waiting for the next group because one thing is open, each group will be timed so once the timer is up, no matter what it will switch)

I think jailbreak vehicles are pretty cheap. There is a really large variety of cars et cetera and they are all under 1 million (concept and scorpion excluded). i completely disagree with the limiteds are bad one. if you played after the limiteds were in game, then thats your fault for not playing sooner. it also makes the limiteds more valuable if there are more players without them. also, if you do have them, it gives you that feel good feeling because you have something no one will ever be able to get. also, there are many more chances for new players to get limiteds. the game would feel pointless if there werent any limiteds.

I actually love the robbery system but that's because I grind in VIP servers only. I do one group then immediately after another opens its just basically robbery after robbery. And I think a hot take I have is trading is not for Jailbreak. I do like how it let me get the pixel and blue pixel skins and the rocket spoilers but what's the point of grinding and being excited about a hyped car when you can just trade for it. Jailbreak is a cops vs robbers game but they've kinda just left that and went for a car simulator.

What i dont like about jailbreak is probably the contract reset time limit since it resets after 4-5days people arent able to finish it maybe due to classes starting and having a personal event, another i hate about jailbreak is that the hackers can join the game and ruins the point of the game of working together and robbing correctly unlike auto robbing which is what a hacker did in a server that i was in. He/she robbed every stores in the server making it hard for me and my other teammates to be able to rob.Another thing i hate about jailbreak are the people with trading vip pass ,like why do you need to spend money on something that should just available for free what i mean is we dont need the vip on our nametag but to let us be able to teleport to the boat for the trading hub,some people got arrested trying to go to the trading hub boat.And the last thing i dont like about jailbreak is when climbing a ladder there is a bug wherein i fall from the ladder due to the hatch outside the bank when trying to escape ,they rlly need to fix that bcs i died with 6k inside the duffle bag
Because the cargo train gives more than the ship, the cargo train is strangely a more viable robbery which is not good. The nerf to cargo ship should’ve been done.
Ship still gives more, remember you can rob it twice and each box is worth at least 3k
One hot take is that this game is a criminal game. Cops get nothing. They need to make cops more profitable. Maybe add duffel bag buffs to cop team as well. Playing as a cop is fun but its just too weak imo. And there is no real end goal of playing as cop whereas crims get hypers for example.

@@Metanauris yes, i do this strat. I got the scorpion within two days with it. But i still feel that cops inherently have a big disadvantage. Yuukl just makes them look good with the strat but ur average cop in a public server wont be making 500k an hour server hopping.
As someone who has had major problems with the cop team income in the past, I think the cop team rn is in a very good spot. The income is less reliable than playing as a crim, but if everything lines up, cops can make so much more than crims.
However, I don’t think the team is perfect. In my “10 updates JB needs” video I suggested some improvements so check it out if you haven’t yet
NoobFreak, I 100% agree with the income-based matchmaking system, but how do you think about having a higher-ranked friend join your server, if you're a noob? I want this system implemented into the game, but would it matter if a friend had a lot more cash and was more skillful than the people in your server?
I think you should still be able to join friends but it would be complex yeah

Drone is overrated. It is fast. But the size of it along with low altitude allows for easy shooting down that vehicle which in my opinion outmatches the pros

I think you're missing the mobile players perspective on old JB. I'd rather have to grind 10 more hours to get a vehical and have that vehical be uglier than the current ones and actually have fun in those 10 hours than have to deal with 6 buttons being shoved on one side of my screen and the cop team being literally unplayable, PC players are a minorty on roblox and catering to them is the reason I and many other players quit jailbreak.

I have a 4070 and one the newer Radeon CPUs (I forgot the exact model) and even I get less than 165 fps which is my monitors refresh rate I can play call of duty, Fortnite, and other games at a locked 165 fps this isn’t jailbreak’s fault it’s all Roblox’s fault but I do agree it keeps me away from the game
