I used to live less than half a mile from this place. It's attached to a little convenience store and they stay packed. One of those places that keeps weird hours and only open on certain days. I first tried them many years ago. Full Korean staff. It was delicious. I tried them again a couple years ago. Not a Korean I'm sight and not only had prices damn near doubled... But it was mid. Quality fell off but they're still always packed.

If you seasoned the shit out of it before cooking, there wouldn't be any point to having sauce. Whole point of barbecue is to intensify the meat and add the smoke. And the seasoning would just burn when you cooked it properly anyway.

ATL kinda sucks for BBQ, but maybe worth checking out Owens and Hull or Fox Bros BBQ or Community Q for decent BBQ. Owens and Hull is the closest to real Texas style you'll get I think.

I miss good real southern food. Those who made it through have to choose between quality or the price of goods and since inflation is through the roof, they skimp on quality cause they can't afford good ingredients. It's a bummer.
