Me too. Especially since I purchased the League Pass but I can fucking never watch the Fever replays until too late. Like today - I can watch yesterday's Sun/Sky game - BUT NONE OF THE OTHERS, including the Fever game. WTF is that about?

Many casuals, Clark fans, and people using Clark for politics made things racial, when Reese did the hand gesture that Clark was doing to others, they called her names and said she was attacking Clark because she's white. They called her classless, mocked her looks, etc. Even though Clark taunts players, , yells at refs, and has tantrums, etc. She doesn't get the same treatment at all. Black women in the WNBA are called ugly, lesbian, loud, ghetto etc. Clark is painted as a role model and a class act by the media and her fans. Go to the comment sections for Reese, it's disgusting. They even attacked her outfit at draft night, and called her classless, as if Clark was dressed for church.
Many of these same people say things like " Nobody cares about the WNBA" " I bet no one can name 5 players" "People only watching for Clark" They put the target on Clark's back.
Many of the players and real fans are sick of it, the Clark fans, casuals and media are hurting the sport. Every interview, players have to be asked about Clark, it has to be frustrating. Racism definitely plays a role here. Players like Aja deserves just as much attention, heck even Kate Martin, her IOWA teammate out played Clark. She should get credit for larger crowds as well, not everything is because of Clark.

It's definitely not coaching. It's a lack of effort from the players.
Lack of defense is entirely on the players, the coach is not in the game. The coach can tell them to play defense, but it's up to them to actually do it.
Defense is effort and you can't coach that. That's something you have to want to do.

*CC had the 2nd lowest score of all the Fever starters* : only *8* pts in *29* mins. Only *2* FG's!! But even a Fever *benchie* had more pts than CC. The benchie *12* pts in *18* mins. Another benchie got 8 pts in *19* mins. *CC: "shooting specialist", my azzz* ! (And what was that previous game where CC only made *4* baskets [4-14!!] in *37* mins of play!)
Then that Jackie pick-pocket of CC -- from the *front* !! -- as good as *anything* I've seen in the NBA! Wud put *GP2* in awe!

Well, it's because of media publicity and hype, if you believe the idiot commentators in this thread, because after all Clark's nothing special. Amazing that the coaches failed to notice Clark is just an average player and have mistakenly identified her as a threat warranting double teaming and face guarding like a championship game. If only they were better at their job they could just leave her to get on with things and concentrate on her teammates.

She could have her nails done while she's waiting to get the ball in that position. Also, Sides is trying to invent plays where Clark loiters at the edges and then runs around to collect the ball from a static player except... now there's two opponents on Clark, the one guarding her and the other who was guarding the static player. It's moronic.
Because the vets don't want her to make them look bad, but she made her money already, she could retire after this season is she wanted to.

Caitlin Clark is the 3rd best player on her team. But she thinks she's the best. Thats WHY they're not winning.
She's the best player college basketball ever produced. She's not playing well, and part of that is because her coach doesn't know how to play her, and part of it is because she hasn't had the opportunity to really settle yet (which is partly because she hasn't had enough game minutes with all her team). Lisa Bluder's eyes must have rolled so far up she could see the inside of her skull.
I would put CC as second but you can tell, my girl was TIRED, she was on the bench looking sick. I have faith in Clark, people put too much pressure on her.

In this game indiana has no d3fence. No pointing pistols. (See man see ball) they all only see one. Do not adjust D to the ball line. Look unfit and lazy in D "token D". They will keep getting smashed. I believe they need to run a deeper rotation to keep frsh legs on the floor and the coach needs to learn and understand this.but what would i know? 😅

A young team with average 3 years experience, led by a 5 game rookie, plays the champions with tons of experience, led by the league MVP and 3 additional USWNT players, loses by 19 and people are here talking down on CC. Do you think she would have same stats if she were on the Aces? Her Hawkeyes team-mate, Kate Martin made fewer mistakes, had a win and better numbers playing on the Aces team. I guess she's better than CC now. Some people lack perspective or are just plain stupid. During the UCONN vs Iowa game, Nika ate CC's lunch. Stole her dessert too. It's a shame that Nika had visa troubles. Nika was forced to take a month off before getting into the game against CC for a lousy three minutes. Imagine being forced to take a month off. Then put into a game against a player that's been practicing and playing that entire month. Wasn't that CC's 5th game ? I'd like to see the two of them match up later on down the season. If Seattle wakes up and allows Nika to play! I'm already hearing rumors and grumbling. Seattle doesn't deserve the services of Nika.

CC will work on her game in the off season. Right now she's legit getting playoff defense on her like how Nika Muhl did to her in the NCAA tournament. Not worried about CC in the WNBA. This is all good experience for her to develop. Tonight it did look like she checked out in the 2nd half for whatever reason. It happens.
Team wise, Indiana needs work on both ends of the court. No one with a brain expected them to win tonight.
I happened to look and it was their 7th game in 12 days, and 5 of them road games.

We'll never know if the Fevers who lost vs the Aces, lost because of sheer exhaustion, since they were playing back to back games, and had plwyed 6 games in 10 days, and the Aces won because they all had rested for 4 days prior to this game.

I watched other WNBA ganes this weekend. I've never seen such intentional violence in tge league as i did this weekend. Sering The Effects bruises on her arm at a post game interview last night underlined tge fact that WNBA has players who intentionally mean to hurt other players.
The haters are out and in full effect smh. Chick has played 7 games into her career where defenders guard her tighter than any others. At one point during the game last night they were picking her up full court. If Clark sucked and is a bust or whatever adjective the haters like to use then why would she need to be picked up full court?? I’m a big UCONN fan so I’ve watched Clark play for 5 years. Her game is only as a 3 point shooter. For 5 years she would stay beyond the arc and the bigs would fight it out under the rim but they would always find a way to get the ball to her which would result in a wide open 3. Now the in WNBA, there are no crappy players like in college, so Clark isn’t getting any wide open 3s. This is why she’s struggling. When she played UCONN she never scored big because coach Geno’s teams never had crappy players. Clark also isn’t tall so she can’t go inside to score. She has to develop a good outside jump shot. If that doesn’t happen, lots of people at Nike will be getting fired! 😂

Caitlin's shooting was bad against the Sparks also. She had 5 pts late into the 4. 0-9 from 3 her 2 wasn't much better. Until she hit two late threes and they turned the narrative around.

Caitlin Clark is a shooter, but it has become abundantly clear she is NOT a ball handler. She allows those guarding her to just routinely steal the ball from her. She also has too many turnovers, plus her passing has become erratic. The pressure has gotten to her. Sad to watch.
My non-biased opinion is just that. She folds under pressure
She has handles, she ju's just looking for teammates to pass to or shoot the ball herself that she neglects guarding the ball, she probably was able to do that in college but in the pros, the players got quicker hands, faster and better athletes on the average. She just has to change her paradigm that she can't do that anymore, she'll adjust.

Tbh I'm not really worried ab this yr, she's a rookie so I expected for her to have a learning curve, her potential is through the roof tho, she's gonna get every teams best effort every game just because they hate how much attention she's getting, she's in a tough spot, they're literally asking her to play out of position, facilitate, create for others and be the leading scorer as a rookie, they don't space the floor for her so it's easy to cause turnovers once she's in the paint, she is not a PG! Lol they need a new coach
