If there is anything that should come from this trial it is that both The Sun and the British legal system owe a humongous apology to Depp. It is disgusting the behaviour that Heard has shown in the courtroom throughout the trial
We didn't see or hear much about it over here (UK), during lockdown. Really don't know how they came to their conclusion. Makes me wonder if the judge was 'bought', as it makes no sense at all.
@@elsaforsythe2302 I heard that the judge is good friends with the owner of the sun. And Elon musk is also on good speaking terms with the owner. I also heard that the judges son was good friends with the man who wrote the article in the sun. It was an unfair and extremely biased hearing. It was a trial. It was just a judge deciding if what he heard was true or not and he decided to side with heard and ignore all of johnnys evidence. This is why judges shouldn’t be allowed to make any decisions alone. A jury is a bunch of people who don’t know anyone involved and hear the evidence put before them. Mistakes can still be made but there shouldn’t be bias there. It’s disgusting what some judges get away with.

It really was a non-event here unfortunately. Usually I am very proud of our long and well respected legal system but I found the result extremely strange. I can only conclude that a lot of evidence wasn't available to the UK Court during the trial
Will never happen. Depp tried to go against the press which unfortunately if hed been successful would have potentially created a precedent and opened the floodgates for more similar cases. This in turn would stifle freedom of press which would impact a lot of pockets so yeah, too many implications hence he lost!
After all this the media still have the audacity to still present her as a victim, it shows how screwed the mainstream media is and how few people with vested interests are having their narative no matter what.
Now I fully understand why Depp's team wanted live coverage. Big nail to those media barons.

No it’s not normal. If she new she had to take photos because of trying to prove abuse claims she would be taking multiple pictures of her self. Not some audio recording that has her abusing Johnny both verbally and physically. The first thing I would be is worried about my safety. I wouldn’t be buying a potential abuser a knife. I wouldn’t be antagonistic, shit in their bed or hit them. I’ve had a parent abuse alcohol and while it’s not pretty you pick up survival instincts. Only store things on a phone that isn’t regularly accessed. Limit time with them, conversations with them. You act as a character. Domestic violence counsellors are great and ca help. She is to much. She is an abuser. I’m really glad Johnny has made a stand.

Everything but the most basic things you need. How many wives have tried the "He beat me, so I killed him defence"? The FIRST evidence asked for in such cases is, police reports, medical reports, pictures, and if possible witnesses. If you can't provide ANY of these like Turd can't, they usually find that woman guilty. She didn't PHYSICALLY kill him, but she did try in EVERY other way :(.

I was in tears when I heard the audio conversation where Amber is laughing at Johnny, goading him, trying to get a negative reaction from him. And Johnny bless his heart stayed composed. This is awful I was so so upset. This is servere emotional abuse. I cannot believe this woman has a child in her care. I started off angry at the beginning of the trial, but I also now feel just very sad for Amber she desperately needs mental health treatment and some consequences for the lies she has told.

usually borderline + sociopaths are very manipulative and they use sex to control their partner. They gave you so much pleasure on bed that it's hard to get away from them. That's how they keep some of their partners sometimes for so long.
I dated someone that had several indicators of bpd. I would spend a night with him at his house and when it was time for me to go he went in to a desperate rant about how I was leaving him…begging me not to go like he was gonna die if I did. Once home I let him know I wouldn’t be seeing him anymore. I was calm but he got frantic I had to hand up on him. He called me over and over and over until I finally answered. So that recording was really hard to listen to and the texts.

It's not completely true. Just to be clear, no, I don't think SHE is a victim. She is just the abuser. But in general you can't say someone who has been victimised had no problem with being called "a victim." Many people need to differentiate between being victimised and being a victim for themselves, especially _because_ they were victimised and their power had been taken away. That's a way for them to take that power back. And for that the person who had been victimised doesn't need to have a personality disorder (that's said since someone can be victimised AND having such a diagnose, someone can even be both, being victimised and abusing others - again, not saying that'd be the case in AH's case. I didn't believe her from the start, and I don't believe her now. All I'm saying is don't make the fault to think you could generalise it).

I think she’s NOT the victim, but it’s very prevalent that victims prefer referring to themselves as victors or just avoiding the “victim,” label all along because they don’t want to further feel like one and want to regain that power that was taken from them. I’m reality, I think she knows this and that her reaction to being called that was pure acting. When she answered about Aquaman, that was more real.
I consider myself as a survivor not a victim. Not to belabour the point but I was talking about the tone in which she spoke, not necessarily the words. I’ve heard that tone many times.

I noticed a change in Amber, no crying whatsoever. She also changed her testimony more than once. So many inconsistencies. I hate the way she talked to him in the recording where she was laughing at him, no person can tolerate someone like her, I don’t think it’s humanly possible to not react to her insults.

The point for me where Amber was caught red-handed was the twin photos. Two identical photos, where the only difference was color saturation, and she had the audacity to claim that they were really "separately taken photos, and the difference is due to a lamp being turned on"
It's so damn hard for me to hear that clip where she is trying to stop him leaving. It's classic 'frantic efforts to avoid abandonment' which is a key symptom of BPD. I know how scary and terrifying it feels and It makes me feel so sick 😫. The fact she is trying to frame anything any other way is shocking
Even if JD's team doesn't recall Dr Curry, I think it is important in closing argument that they recall Curry's list of symptoms/behaviors for DPD and HPD, remind the jury of what they heard on audio tapes, and even point out how AH exhibited those in the courtroom in front of their eyes.

It's a painful experience trying to find logic where there is none (beyond the logic of a person who will do whatever they damn please in the persuit of money, power and lime light).
I have to admit right out of the gate that I have never been a JD fan, but I'm definitely a fan now. My daughter was a victim of DV and I don't appreciate someone mocking an issue as serious as DV to make money. That is exactly what AH is doing. She makes me sick.

This whole drama is a brilliant lesson in psychology, Johnny Depp has allowed us to observe the minds of many people by exposing his personal, emotional life to public view. Amazingly courageous of him. A gift to those that have a real interest in understanding and improving human relationships.
She also said that Johnny couldn’t look her in the eye because of guilt over assaulting her, but that he did look her in the eye multiple times on several occasions since allegedly assaulting her. Both of these things can’t be true at the same time, except in Amberland.

With regards to the writing on the mirror made by Johnny, I get it. I was in an abusive marriage, we had children together so leaving wasn’t an easy thing to do so I stayed time and time again but all those times got me to a point where I found myself curled up in a corner almost rocking myself feeling like I was losing my mind. Prolonged abuse can make you go crazy, or at least feel like you are.

I find it very interesting how Amber keeps trying to look at Johnny all the time. It’s like she’s looking for her prey trying to turn him to stone for exposing her like this. As someone who has seen abuse first hand, that’s not what a victim does. That’s abuser behaviour.

I've watched the whole Jodi Arias trial , the similarities are mindblowing down to the whole expert debakle.Basically Jodis forensic psychology expert was cancelled afterwards because she was bias as hell and came across as completly unprofessional.
She thought recording him self harming would benefit her case; in that audio she can be heard telling Johnny not to use that knife it was too dull. She proceeded to offer him a bigger sharper knife. She was encouraging him to seriously harm himself; thank god his security was there to intervene this story would have ended very differently

I love how she got under Amber's skin. Amber was so smug and arrogant coming in with her bee earring. She thought nothing could touch her. Boy was she wrong. The jury got to see her hot temper when she walked out of the courtroom before they even left. Shows she can't control herself. I was worried the jury might not rule in Johnny's favor but after today I think it will be hard to ignore she is a nut.
As a victim of abuse, I was terrified of having anything in the house he could hurt me with. Let alone would I go out and buy him a big knife 🤦🏼♀️
Buying him a knife was antagonistic. She was hoping at some point he would snap from all the abuse and come at her with the knife. JD is an emotional human, passionate. A knife is a very personal, intimate weapon; the dark engraving on this knife compounds that. She knows she's more athletic and agile than johnny, and he drinks, so she is phyisically not afraid of him.
She gave him that knife as a message. It says “till death,” on it. Which was referencing the universal “till death do we part” wedding vow. She was staking her claim, that “this was mine.” Like there’s “no leaving her.” It’s sick & disgusting.
Tbh, I've been focused on ATs lies. But this cross explains why Camille was so supportive towards JD. We are all forgetting the pain and anguish this adult man experienced. Trying to hide in bathrooms, sitting on the floor unable to get his voice across and wrote it all on a mirror. I can relate to the loss he experienced, however male victims don't get the same support us female survivors get. Instead they suffer in silence. My heart broke for JD throughout this cross today
I know I cried so hard, my heart literally felt Johnny’s pain and torment. What she did to him is unthinkable. I’m a survivor of child sexual abuse and DV I’ve really gone through a lot and I’m the type who cries during sad stories in a movies, I cry when I watch a trial where a loved one is killed and you can hear the pain and anguish in the person talking but amber never once made me cry, that should tell ppl who are like me that’s cry during movies that amber is lying. When someone who is acting is so convincing and can make you cry but she can’t, should tell us something isn’t right. She’s suppose to be a victim of DV/Sv but can’t get one tear to drop from anyone watching.
@@bambilackner I'm also survivor of csa/sa/dv/r and I can see how he downplays or hides the true extent of his emotional pain. When Camille cross examined A, I could see his shoulders finally relax and some of that pain was washed away, that sense if relief he hasn't felt in many years was being released. We all need to understand that he handling his abuse as a male with less support and understanding it seems he kept drowning is his pain...while A is as a gaslighting liar, she isn't afraid, she communicates like a narcissistic person does, she is never in the wrong. All survivors can see right through her. I also noticed the mental and emotional abuse she inflicted on him. Imagine him loving her to death, and there she was feeding him lies about who he was in her psychological twisted explanations. On so many occasions he tried to escape and she goaded him, she twisted her words and like most narcs talks in a way that they can't be implicated in any way. Their sentences are constructed so she can take either side of the argument. She is focused on getting eye contact from J to break him further...I still say she learned how to break him mentally and emotionally like her father broke in wild horses, her father who abused her who she still speaks of in high regard.
This trial is triggering to many of us. That's something she never could have predicted. I prey that the 2 jurors she keeps nodding to, to say 'see, see' 'sympathise with me' is an empathetic person who is too weak to look away but has the ability to break free from her come decision time
@@seer_of_light Absolutely, well put!I was married to a gaslighter, and I remember the confusion I experienced from his carefully worded accusations/comments...it becomes difficult to remember what was actually said or done and you're left doubting the truth, like trying to walk in shifting sand. Listening to the trial means I completely understand what JD was going through.

It's so disturbing to know that someone who is loved can enter our minds and hearts with the intentions to cause a life time of destruction and trauma. I also have a lot of shame and guilt because of the confusion caused by the gaslighting. The majority of the DV/SA/CSA I have blocked out... So as triggering as this trial has been it is also satisfying and healing to watch Johnny; at least one survivor will be vindicated and set free. We can all enjoy these moments for and with him. I hope you are also sensing emotional healing through the understanding you are witnessing in this trial 🙏🏼
Yes....and I don't know if anyone remembers Elaine's part of their opening statement (probably bc it was so horribly long and ridiculous), but in the middle of her babbling, she actually said "there was no way amber could have abused johnny. It just wasn't physically possible." The epitome of ignorance.

As a DV survivor, I would NEVER have bought my abuser something like that. He definitely would've at least threatened me with it. No way!
The only way I would buy that was to use on him in his sleep. At least she had money, that was probably enough for a room or to get to a DV shelter for the regular female (if you're at that point and have the courage/means).

She wasn't afraid to give him the knife because she wasn't afraid of him. He wasn't hurting her so there was no reason to think anything bad would happen with the knife.

I think it is so annoying that after Dr. Curry was on the stand saying “this correct” or “that is incorrect” now Amber is saying it.. i feel like she is just saying it like that because she saw how much attention Dr.Curry was getting when she would talk like that. But when amber does it.. it’s annoying

A couple of thoughts here:
Like you said that she never says, "No, Johnny, don't become the monster by doing drugs!" She NEVER says anything about him coming back and hitting her. I listened to the audio tapes (at least two of them). She tries to accuse him of "hitting" her and he responds that he "pushed her" because she was hitting him and it was to get away from her hitting him. On the audio, she NEVER corrects him.
Another couple of things to discuss:
-She fully admits to starting physical fights on tape
-She clearly exhibits the ability to easily escalate into anger and emotion
-She admits to following him around to bother him and mocks him in the process... showing absolutely NO fear of him whatsoever
-We are supposed to engage in MAGICAL thinking that a woman who is CLEARLY showing NO FEAR of the man, CLEARLY MOCKING him in every conceivable way she can think of (in the name of anger or frustration), CLEARLY willing to hit him, CLEARLY willing to harm him, CLEARLY admitting to "I f-ed up that night.. the severed finger night", CLEARLY refusing to say that she can't promise that she won't start future physical fights.... that while Depp is supposedly performing a drug search in her magic garden after ripping off her dress and underwear that she was "afraid" and "frozen" and all she could do is stare at the "stupid light" and we're just supposed to believe that she isn't going to fight back in any way whatsoever... same for the love bottle session she claims happened. She just never fights back and we're just supposed to believe that when all she is is full of piss and vinegar and violence
She never acted, from what I recall, like a victim. I mean, if I was beating her, and if I’m drunk and mad.. you better not make me even more mad. But no, she’s the one yelling! Why make the person mad. You shouted scared if he is mad or drunk, bec you know what comes next.

Why the hell did Johnny marry her after she cut off his finger especially knowing she has major psych issues? They even went back to Australia as part of their honeymoon trip. He hid in 5 bathrooms and two bedrooms. I think she fantasizes about being hit, beaten and perhaps raped. Could her father have abused her since childhood that she feels it’s normal to react as she does? I seriously think so, she brags about her daddy on talk shows.

That desperate "Don't leave me" recording absolutely broke my heart- for him. That ACT of hysterical desperation was on another level of manipulation that made me sick to my stomach. She believed her own charade, true enough. I've personally witnessed similar behaviour, and she needs a support worker- not a damaged, wealthy husband.
This is disturbing... and Johnny has to sit and let the world hear how he had endured and lived through this... it's sad because AH clearly needs some deep psychological help. Now she has a baby girl entangled in the mix. Saddened by the whole thing. AH needs to be locked up to protect everyone else from her, and to protect herself from herself 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
That was the one thing that actually had me sympathetic for Amber. That reaction is symptomatic of someone with severe BPD. That pain and desperation that you hear is real. It might be the only genuine expression of suffering from her in the whole trial.
Definitely a sign that she needs lots of therapy.
@@williamp6800exactly! I have been diagnosed with cluster b borderline personality disorder (traits of borderline). I have sounded exactly like that recording before in a relationship. Definitely not my proudest moment but that fear, panic and pain completely takes over. The fear of abandonment is so real. I've felt exactly like I'm dying from the pain and fear of being left. I'm still working through therapy for some other struggles at the moment, but DBT will definitely be something I sign up for again soon. It is incredibly helpful! I completely agree with you, that tape was the only time Amber broke me. It was the only time she was honest and that didn't even happen in court, it was just an audio recording. I could relate so much to that feeling and it's awful. That however is no excuse to abuse anyone, I want to make that clear. I still struggle in whether or not it's manipulative because in that moment, I am feeling everything and not processing rational thoughts. I struggle with the belief being overly emotional can somehow be manipulative, but I'm still learning to control the overwhelming emotions I can feel. Thank you for hearing that pain in her voice because that panic and fear is something so real and terrifying, I wouldn't wish on anyone.

My ex wife was official narcissistic personality disorder. She cheated with at least 25 people that I know of and likely many more. She lied as easy and regular as breathing. Early on when the relationship was good, she would exihibit similar issues with "I feel like I'm the only one trying in the relationship" when I was merely just doing my job. I would have to tell her things like, "Anybody you are with will have to work and not be available for 8 hours a day. It's called making a living." I wondered where the "she's the only one trying" thing came from because I was crazy about her and always making time for her.
I was trying to keep things together because we had a son together. I was willing to swallow my pride over the cheating and drug use for my son's family to stay together. But one day, I saw an opportunity to get out clean and I took it. I managed to get separated and divorced on the cheap and got to keep custody of my son. While I was trying to keep things together, I was stuck in a vicious cycle that she kept in that perpetual state. She would gaslight with complaints, but it would always be whatever was convenient for the moment. If I traveled too much, she would complain that she just wanted me home. If I changed my job and worked from home 100%, she would complain that I was there all the time. She would cast aspersions about different events at different times in the relationship and she was just flat out wrong... which was intentional. She wanted me to try to fix what was wrong and she wanted to ensure that it could never be fixed. It was a way to get narcissistic supply. After being divorced, I watched some videos about narcissism because I felt like it was what I had dealt with at that point. At a certain point, I realized that she never cared. Whatever it was that I thought we had once upon a time and I was trying to get her to see again was just a figment of my imagination that I was manipulated into believing. If you listen to the tapes, you can see Johnny reach this realization in real time. He says, "I can't reach you because you're not there. You don't exist. You don't exist. I loved you for so long and you were just something I built up in my head. See you in court."
When I listen to Amber Turd I see my ex. I'm not triggered and I don't have PTSD. I just recognize the sociopathic disorder a mile away now. The only one being irrational is Amber Turd. She was WILDLY STUPID to write that op-ed and to try to be the Jussie Smollett of the metoo movement. She had it made by making $7 million from Depp. She should have never promised anything to charity and just kept the $7 million and worked on her budding celebrity career. She most likely could have made more money and gained in celebrity, but she got entitled and greedy. She wanted to be a metoo huckster. She wanted to get more attention faster by becoming the face of a culturistic movement. The problem is that she picked one of the most level-headed and laid back people to accuse and it is backfiring in spectacular fashion...

Eating in that deposition, storming out when the judge and jury are still in the courtroom, throwing her lawyers under the bus by claiming they didn’t submit evidence she supposedly gave them. Could she be reprimended for contempt of court because her little dramatic storming out?
I think the writing on the mirror is SO IRONIC & sad. It's like the "writing on the wall". It shows how bad off Johnny was mentally from her abuse, & he was WRITING TO HER BECAUSE HE COULDN'T GET THROUGH TO HER. That whole thing in Australia was a representation of her ABUSE.

Yeah in one of the audio recordings, when Johnny is threatening to cut himself she says “no no don’t cut your skin, please don’t cut your skin.” Bruh hearing her say that shook me, the entire vibe I’ve gotten from her is that she didn’t want to ruin his life she wanted him to take his own. And I think she tried laying the frame work for that scenario
