Put a alcohol like alot and it will sip right into the rubber leave it for 1 to 5 minutes then you hot air gun and the passive radiator rubber can be take down easy by hands
@@TaylorSoloaiJR yep alcohol softens the glue inside the rubber and dont worry thr alcohol will go inside the rubber and after 5 minutes it will soften the glue and heat it up
@@ralseichanuwu is there a way not to use heat gun and only use alcohol? if it can soften the glue we probably don’t have to use heat gun and just apply pressure for opening

Ohh thanks! You’re correct, I need to open the PRs to fully dismantle the speaker and swap the connectors inside the amp. I didn’t continue further since I don’t want to mess the PRs. Haha! The wires inside front drivers are glued shut. I’m thinking upgrading the front drivers to a 2 6w full range ones and the 30w for the woofer.
I have the same problem with my Y669. Left and Rear channel is swapped. What I do is I use the speaker upside down. I just use the included strap as a stopper to prevent the speaker from rolling.
the main speaker/woofer is smaller than i expected no wonder sound is not so loud i thought at least it would be 2 inches you probably have to have passive radiators separately bought from outside because it doesn’t look there’s any other way to fully open it without damaging them if apply heat that will also harm it because it’s made of silicone/rubber and the heat air will probably deform them also as you’ve gone this far you can change the main speakers and use slightly bigger speakers although it could require some extra modifications and i don’t think those batteries are 18650 by the looks of the size they’re probably aa size batteries anyway thanks for your content and i hope you’ll explore this speaker more in future would be helpful for many of us
@@TaylorSoloaiJR yeah i’m sure that’ll be long time from now😂 i’m thinking of swapping the main speakers with my old y200 speakers as that ones sound is clearer might not change sound because of other factors but at least we can try
For me I'd say 10 for good bass, especially for how much it cost. You can buy a JBL GO 3 which is more expensive and it still won't compete with the Awei Y669 in terms of bass.
Impossible cause the wires that conmects to the batteries inside are very hard to reach, you should remove the pr's first before fully tearing down the speaker.
And sir is the cover made out of plastic because I dropped my speaker, it still sounds the same but when I grasp it hard with my hand it makes a cracking noise that's annoying. I'll be relieved if its just the cover that is making the cracking noise. Any tips to make it stop?
does anyone have this problem where the Bluetooth connection is strong indoors and when its outside even a single book in between the speaker and the phone disrupts the connection and ruins the sound quality?

Great to have this kind of reviews, now its its technical. Good job
the speaker is 8 watts x 2 and subwoofer is 15 watts x 1
Is there a way to re-route/swap the front speaker cabling? I observed my Y669 front Left and Right channels configuration seems swapped/flipped?
As long as you can get pass the PR, you can swap it. Just need to get to the amplifier switch the audio wires.

One day the battery will die so I will definitely go all the way through with the tear down.

Awei vs Zealot, which one is better?
Wiahhh I like it♥️
hello sir! how's the bass of this speaker based on your music taste? please rate the bass of this speaker from 1-10 plsss

I think the wattage of the rear one are about 20w and the front two ones are 5w each
Wrong you
the front ones are 8w and the back is 15w
This or xdobo boos bmtl ? I can't make up my mind. can you help me? What i preferred is bass quality
Xdobo is better, in my opinion

Hi boss is there a good battery pack of your recommendation for battery replacement? Thanks
Hi, sorry I can't recommend one because I haven't seen the battery for this speaker and I don't have it anymore.
Bonjour,Comment faire pour en acheter ? Merci.
Can you compare awei y669 and mifa a10 plus next video
I would have but I no longer have this Awei Y669, sorry.

You should take the cover off and see if you can just add some super glue to the cracked part.
yo thanks. How do I put it back together again? Do I use glue?
It depends on how bad the damage is, if it's something small maybe glue..
Yea but after I'm done with gluing it how do I put it together again? Can I still reassemble it?
Yes and yes
does anyone have this problem where the Bluetooth connection is strong indoors and when its outside even a single book in between the speaker and the phone disrupts the connection and ruins the sound quality?
Better than JBL and Bose.
Yan din kaya ung Zealot s51??
What's the correct watts rating of the 3 speakers?
25 watts mayby 5w x2+15w=25
31 watts peak watts
Nice speaker for the price
yung y669 ko po nawala po ung bass ano po kya sira ?
Bat nakatutok ka sa base dapat ipakita mo rin ung speaker na maliit ung treble at boses
Awei y669 or Awei y280? Naguguluhan parin ako sa dalawa kung alin sa dalawa bibilhin ko. Ano kaya mas sulit?
If you want more bass buy awei y669 if you want more vocals buy awei y280
malakas ang bass ng 668 pero hindi mo pwede itodo. mas maganda ang sound balance ng 280, long battery life pa
The speaker wattage is
20w 4 ohms i also teared mine down and it has 20w maybe yours didnt get printed in time😂
Maybe they knew I was going to tear it down so they gave me this 🤣

no wonder it drains the batteries fast in my case it’s a power hungry monster let alone 12h i don’t think i get 7h of back up using 60/65% sound

awei y669
I bought it from shopee
fb page
try to search it...
i bought mine there...
quality...
👍
Battery.. Series 7.4v 2000mah
there’s no space for modding even 1 inch tweeter😂
Very big driver
The 2 dual speaker have 6 ohms 5w and the subwoofer have 4 ohms 20w 👍
Nope, the two front speakers are 8w while the woofer at the back is 15w
Shout out me at next videooooo
btw 5w *2 15w *1 total of 25w
it's 31w so the front ones are 8w
What should i buy? That y669 or JBL go 3?
It depends on you and what you want. If you want portability with good sound then GO 3, for louder sound and stronger bass then Y669.
