Ah man, sugiuchi, one of my favorite fights in the series, the setting and build up to it is amazing, this guy moveset is both difficulty and fun to handle, fantastic theme, QTE and dynamic intro. Great music choice and performance as always :)
Now what you mentioned it, you’re probably correct. Heck, Yakuza protagonists rarely use guns aside from Kiryu (during the car chases), Saejima (during the Ueno Seiwa hit) and Tanimura (Dead Souls obviously doesn’t count because it ain’t canon).
@@MikeJr9284 yagami cant even USE guns, in snake style his gun disarm heat actions will see him just aim the gun then beat the shit outta them with the handle before dropping it or something. also if you didnt know yagami does quicksteps in that animation which ive never seen in any other animation
Tanimura fighting style is one I want to copy. I have seen a lot of people fighting like him and it's always effective when you want to neutralized a threat.
Here we go baby, Based Sugiuchi! The sync up at 4:22 was so epic. I agree with you on everything about Sug. The fight is challenging as heck but still fun. “Teufel mit Liebe” is an awesome track, really exemplifies that the walls were closing in on Sug, and his time is running out. And of course the insane QTE at the start of the fight! Great video man! 👍
(Y4 Spoiler ahead) The atmosphere in this fight is reminding that you're a detective, fighting against a person who's responsible for your father's death. And it's horrifying. About the gameplay, impressive as always! The variety of heat actions used in single battle. Different combo so it'll not be just a boring rush/heavy combo spamming.
@@GUNKSHOTT True Shit, My good sir. I loved Tanimura overall. I liked how his gameplay made me play more Defensive unlike with Kiryu and the other where I can go absolutely gorilla with their moves. Tanimura made me think of my strats and find ways to cheese them in the most silly and funny way possible.
90% of hits I'm missing are on purpose (to do a certain heat action as the enemy is standing up), its only sometimes when a lock on gets messed up or whatever. Don't see the point of it though. Thanks!

Is there any kinda guide or a wiki on framedata and stuff of yakuza bosses? Like how long you can juggle them of the ground using heavy? You had such moment in the vid when you did two heavies and then side-step attack
Progress update on no attack upgrade legend run. Turns out I used the red binding for the first 4 and half chapters which increases attack by 3 points :( and the group fight in chapter 4 was a nightmare barely did it first try but now am on chapter 5 and I can't do infintes on that guy in dragon Palace. Guess I have to challenge him later.
Yakuza fans are delusional. This series combat is so dog shit. This is why it's not mainstream popular because so many people get fed up with the AI not playing by the same rules and just quit mid way through the games.
While the combat isn't perfect the story is where it's at and besides it ain't meant to be too easy, even on Easy Mode I had trouble with some bosses throughout this franchise
