She realises that that's not how she wants to live and she'd be better off without the partner. However, the fear of the unknown and insecurity keeps her in the relationship. That's powerful and raw!

My only issue with this film clip is the words are more powerful than the images. Kind of an opportunity wasted in my opinion. Close your eyes really listen closely to the lyrics. They are incredibly evocative. Someone trapped in a controlling relationship, even trapping themselves through how they feel they need to behave. Being both controlled and stimulated without consent. There's so much there to work with but the film doesn't really nail it. I love Montaigne and most of the things she does. Highly under rated and under tapped. This is the song that made me stand up an listen. And I when I heard it I had all sorts of stories swirling through my mind. Better than this.
