Take no notice of those that like to criticise. After many years of tinkering with a guitar, I too find this lesson very informative and inspirational.
I think that is impossible..you never can learn more in a you tube video then in a 60 year classic guitar studie. This is no critic..this is not to insult you. But with all respect..i think you take it to far now.. What have you studie in that 60 year then? In 60 year you must be a master player if you studie and practise every Day.. Sorry for my bad english and again...i am not trying to insult or disrespect you sir. But..this video's of this man are indeed very great to learn playing guitar..he play very very good. Greetings. 4:15
Thanks, Marco! You've awakened the Classic guitarist in me again! I started playing Classic guitar over 30 years ago, also played acoustic (steel string) for about 10 years. But then i met my wife (to-be), and while on a weekend trip, i was going to seranade her, but she told me she "wasn't into guitar music." So, i put my guitar away. (I didn't intend to quit, but since i always wanted to spend time with her, i didn't pick it up again.) 30+ years later, i still had music in my head ( much like this) that i wanted to play. When i told her about it, she felt bad that she had caused me to stop playing something that meant so much to me, and encouraged me to start again. But my hands were no longer in shape, and i had no calusses on my fingertips. Plus, now i had nerve impingement in my neck that affected my left (fretting) hand. I couldn't play longer than 1 minute before my hand cramped. Ultimately i had 3 vertebrae in my neck fused, and even though i could see improvement the next morning, i still didn't have strength to play. I worked hard for another 7 long months, with no improvement. Then one day i tried again, and to my amazement, i played for almost a full hour. My hand was sore, but it made me thrilled because i could FINALLY see improvement! I've been playing every day since, gradually getting my hand stronger. Now it's been almost 2 years since surgery, I've been playing for just over a year. But I've come so far! Maybe farther than i did in the previous 10 years when i played before, because now I've learned theory and so much more from having YT videos to learn from. I'm playing a lot more advanced than i did earlier in life. But i haven't made as much progress in Classic guitar, as I've been mostly playing acoustic guitar music. Now, my point: After seeing this video, you've awakened the Classical guitarist in me again! I started playing just what you taught in this video, but now i can play all kinds of things, where i make it up as i go. As you pointed out, it can be played on any type of guitar. (But it sounds really great on the nylon strings.) Now my wife loves to listen to me! (And i love playing it!) So, again, thank you! I think I'll start playing "mood music" or "background music" for events. (Sorry for the long story, but it was necessary to show how important it was to me.) 👍 👌
Thank you for sharing your story. I’m happy you’re able to play, and that your wife has learned she likes listening while you serenade her. (Marco’s music and videos have been helping me rediscover the joy in playing, too.)
It's this kind of chord progression got me hooked on Marco, I would play, pause, replay, pause ..... until I learn to play, and his calming, teaching voice is one thing above all others.
After many years of my guitar sitting in the corner gathering dust, this piece has inspired me to put my confounded phone down and use my time more productively. My fingers are reacquainting themselves with a fretboard and learning to get around this lovely piece of music. Thank you.
I just found you. I love this Marco. I have RA and just getting back into playing again after about 20 yrs. This style is what I used to play and I'm hoping to get my muscle memory and strength back. It is a struggle though. Thank you Marco.
This is the very first video I'm watching of seeing a classical guitar played like this. I own four guitars already, but it's time for a classical guitar.
God knew my heart and still knows my heart. This type of guitar lesson is exactly what I have been searching for. Thank you very much for sharing this wonderful video of yours. God bless you richly always.
Marco this lesson finally gave me more insight into triads and boosted my knowledge of classical guitar more than any other lesson ever I cannot thank you enough and I am so excited again to put this theory to use.
Ma che meraviglia! Pur essendo basata sulle triadi sembra quasi una composizione di musica classica. Ho provato a farla col plettro con plettrata giù-giù-su. Complimenti e grazie!
Thanks Mr. Cirillo. I never understood the Circle Of Fifths before watching this video. Very easy to understand the way you explain it. I thought the Circle Of Fifths was some sort of complicated structure, but really it is really very simple. Gracias.
beautiful playing and thank you so much for teaching the chords, notes, and tabs! Everytime you played the descending straight through I kept expecting to her Mark Knopfler come in with his haunting vocals. ❤
No hablo inglés, pero la forma o técnica que usa este hombre es increíble, algo de cada vídeo se le queda a uno para plasmar en ideas o tocar algo diferente gracias 🫂
Great lesson always, I am commenting first time here. I have a question theory wise how does F# diminished fit in circle of descending fifth, I would appreciate if you can explain. Thanks again for your time and efforts. 🙏🙏
Hi Marco, I love this progression and how you explain the theory behind it. I've never studied music theory but it's something I want to start after watching your videos. One thing that I want to ask is, why you don't use a bar when the chords are on the same fret? Is it because of the difference in sound it would make? I love the way you simplify these beautiful phrases by the way.
I have been following you for a very long time now. You always seem to amaze me. I can tell that you really get into your music. I think you and I play a lot alike. Keep It up, my friend. BTW, you're an awesome teacher...

Hi Marco. Thanks for your great videos. Is there a classical guitar which has a thin neck. I am used to playing steel string acoustic guitar Thanks Danny
superb guitar also the magnificent sound without forgetting the playing of the musician magnificent perfection 👏Bravo Marco if you put the tablature would be a joy.
It would be an amazing goal to play these beautiful sounds, but as a very beginner it seems quite far away. I’m learning the basics of playing now via the apps Yousician and Tabs. Can you maybe recommend an app to fix the gab between the common basics and playing this beautiful Spanish style?
Hi, I'd like to know why you are using B instead of Bm? It's that B major is the only chord that doesn't fit in the Em chord progression. I just want to learn. Thanks.
hi Marco, I have been studying and playing classical guitar for over 60years and I have learned more in the 14 minutes of your teaching, Thank you.
Reading this, one can only wonder: what the heck have you been doing for 60 years lol?

Try playing a 12 string. They are easier to play, easier to finger pick and on the fret board. No painful callouses!

Great lesson always, I am commenting first time here. I have a question theory wise how does F# diminished fit in circle of descending fifth, I would appreciate if you can explain. Thanks again for your time and efforts. 🙏🙏
Beautiful, though I am a little confused: looking at the circle of fifths counterclockwise, I read E-A-D-G-C-F-Bb, so not F# and B ?
Brother Marco very beautiful playing and excellent Teaching....Wow

Hi, I'd like to know why you are using B instead of Bm? It's that B major is the only chord that doesn't fit in the Em chord progression. I just want to learn. Thanks.
Anche in inglese sei un grande maestro 😅
Thank you sir
