The manga is amazing and it's a real shame we never got a proper anime for it that actually covered everything. The OST was amazing though and is capturing exactly how Tsubasa is like.
THIS THIS THIS. OH MY GOSH. Tsubasa is my favorite manga of ALL times. They need to do it justice!!! They stopped making the original anime because it was too graphic for the rest of the show based on the manga. BUT with the current animes we have not anymore!!!!!
I want it too but you know why they never finished the anime :(. Demographics. With manga everyone can read it from kids to teens to adults and it's their own responsibility to what they're exposed, but anime and audience viewed-tv has to have clear age restrictions. The first two seasons of the anime following the manga were cute and fluffy and heartwarming and slightly depressing but totally PG13. And then... then it the manga basically turned into GAME OF THRONES with the.. eye-gauging and blood, LOTS of blood and limbs being cut off and blatant death down on scene and... yeah it was brutal. Most of the ppl watching the anime came from CCS. They wouldn't have expected s*** like that.
For those who are wondering Tsubasa Chornicles, xxholic and Carcaptor Sakura are all connected. I recommend watching the anime and the manga to understand the whole story.

The CC Sakura gave her wand to Tsubasa's Sakura as one of the compensation given to Yuuko to break the cycle of their tragedy. Since that tragedy already ended (alongside the disappearance of Yuuko) and the payments already paid (with Watanuki never leaving in *that* place and Syaoran never staying in one place), then maybe they have opened up a new path. This is just my guess though 😅

This is just so cool 😂 For one I love that after realizing she doesn't have the type she needs he's like "Time to step up!" But also the music fits perfectly and so fits with him drawing the blade out of his hand. Super Tsubasa-ish. Tsubasa had probably the greatest soundtrack ever, honestly.

Akuma -chu feels like Syaoran now has his own cards... That attack looks like firey. The cards probably converted to him and he couldn't tell. Like when they exchanged bears, they exchanged custodies so that sakura could go another trial.
it baffles me, with such perfect story, perfect bgm, perfect VAs why the hell they dont remake the tsubasa reservoir chronicle??!! most amazing sequences are not animated!!
thank you so much for making this edit!!! i really love tsubasa soundtracks, but i didnt really enjoyed the series itself. and this scene particularly was so cool and i like the fact that cardcaptor sakura is advancing on the magic part especially for shaoran, but the original background music and pace of the story didnt do justice for shaoran incredible power growth/ his magic scene. its so beautiful and feels epic when meshed with tsubasa's ost.
The thing is tsubasa li ( also called syaoran who is from tsubasa chronicles) and syoaran li comes from cardcaptor sakura and cardcaptor sakura clear card which causes some confusion. They both look the same.
So I see that I'm not the only one who cues this song when I see Syaoran summon his sword like that. Because the moment I saw him do it (and especially use a stronger fire attack NOT from his paper tags) I just HAD TO LITERALLY SING Song of Storm and Fire and noise pollute it in the process. IDEEETAAA DI KAAASAAA IMAAAASTIIIIIIYAAAAAAAAA
I like Syaoran, but I just can't look over the fact Kero of all characters mentioning they had no fire at hand. Kero as a whole has been benched to give others the spotlight when in most instances he could have done something.
He should've tried to help first and then let Shaoran step in, or at least say 'I'm gonna transform'. The way they did it just looks like a dumb plothole :[
It was hinted throughout that Kero was feeling off and sleeping more etc. kind of like how it was with Yue and Yukito in the first series. It has not been revealed what it means, but I think this is a matter of 'can't' rather than 'won't' on his part.

CCS will eventually catch up with events in Tsubasa though. Can’t wait until that moment. I hope there will be a scene where Li Tsubasa’s group land in Tomoeda sometime after Nirai Kanai. Or maybe scenes where CCS characters contact Watanuki (Clow does know about the shop so I think Eriol knows too) for a wish. But what I really hope is an OVA about Tsubasa’s reunion with princess Tsubasa in Clow (thanks to Watanuki). We know that happens thanks to xxxHolic Rou manga. All we need is more details.

He is hiding some secret which I think Eriol knows. I think some kinda secret magic. But he is not revealing it to Sakura.
I want Li Tsubasa’s group to come to Tomoeda in their journey. Actually, Eriol may be able to help him create new bodies for Syaoran and Sakura. Afterall, Eriol (and Clow) knows how to create living bodies and sentient beings (Yue, Kero, ....)
SPOILER the reason why shaoran feels guilty is because he was the one who stole the cards from sakura, the fire magic that he used was with the help of the fire card
