Quitting my 9-5 in Tokyo and going on an impulsive Solo trip (ISHIGAKI VLOG)

- hellooo xx i have a highlight called 'ishigaki' on my IG if you want to see a more detailed update on everything i did each day on my trip: travelling from tokyo to Ishigaki, foods i ate, activities i did, tourist spots i visited, meals i cooked. the local tour guide who helped me with all the local spots (IG: @jackfukushima) and the diving company i went with (IG: @atmr_ishigaki)
i can't put into words how much i needed this week away and HOW happy this trip made me. i never ever thought i would find a solo holiday so fun, exciting, memorable, and special...?? solo travel can be uncomfortable at some points and i had pockets of loneliness but spending this much time alone and exploring a new city like this, has given me so much insight into what makes me happy vs. stressed in my day to day.
i will forever and ever remember this week of my life and im so excited to share a slice of Ishigaki with you. if you are visiting japan, i could not recommend ishigaki/okinawa, the southern side of japan enough. ishigaki is easily in my top 1 favourite place I've ever travelled to!! i love you so much, hope you enjoy :))

hey love!! those clips were all filmed on my iphone on portrait, so i exported them onto my project on my laptop and instead of playing the clips on my timeline as 1,2,3,4,5,6 i put 1-3 all on top of each other (same duration) then 4-6 right next to the stacked up 1-3 (timeline would look like: airport scene, 1-3, 4-6, bus scene) i hope that makes sense 🥺❤️ i essentially had 2 new timelines above the original timeline to create the “stack” effect so the 3 clips play at the same time!
