i'm not hating on merlin, i love that guy. and i understand that he didn't want morgana to know his secret, but still i think he could have done more than he did

what i love about this Morgana in this version of the Arthur legend is that she actually has Characteristics that makes you side with her. in the legend she just wanted to take his throne because she new he was a bastard child between Uther and the Lady Icrain, but in this she is the bastard child, who should have had a right to the throne, but it was denied from her. i just love this character because she is a villain you can side with and cheer on. long live, QUEEN MORGANA PENDRAGON!!!!
Oh, you know what I mean. Morgana tried to defend others and herself from being persecuted for what they are instead of who they are. If Morgana hadn't seen people being persecuted for something they were born with, she wouldn't have done this. She is basically fighting for people's right to live without fear and hatred. People just can't see it.
I think any character who can have such a huge fanbase despite being the villain is a true show of brilliant acting. Morgana does some terrible things, but it's all tempered by the fact that she a) used to be a 'good' character, and b) is fighting for a good cause in the wrong way.
Morgana is bad, but she isn't. She is a great character! So badass, ruthless and evil, but in the end we all know that deep down she is a compassionate, loving, but also frightened soul that only wants to be accepted!
I love Colin and Katie sooo much! Why did he threw away the storyline of Morgana and Merlin, they had sooo much potential of being more than just enemies or friends before, they were oh their chemistry was mindblowing everytime! .D mergana

i don't blame morgana for what she has become. i mean merlin had gaius to guide him. in the beggining he had a good heart and just kept that way because he had someone who understood him. but morgana was also good in the beggining, and then she discovered herself and didn't know what to do and she was completely alone, and then came morgause and she was influenced. i don't know what would i do in her shoes. her father and half-brother would probably call her a monster just because she had magic

However, as a result of Merlin having Gaius to guide him, it kept him on the right track of good, however Morgana had no role models after Morgouse died and had to make her own decisions which became very biased throughout camalot's history. Merlin had tried to kill Morgana and Mordred many times (directly and indirectly), but Gaius convinced him otherwise of Mordred's nature as he was a good person at heart.

*n* If Merlana can't happen.. Colie/Katin is the next best thing! ...I just wished Merganaship still happened in the series! It'd be more heart breaking when she turns on him and everyone- but at least Merganaship still happened! Ahh!!

In the end, in many versions of the legend, Morgana takes Arthur to the Isle of Avalon to be healed after Arthur is wounded by Mordred in the final battle.... Hmmm maybe they will, however, there are only 2 episodes left for redemption. We shall see...

Most of the time, it's The Lady of the Lake who takes Arthur to Avalon and that's Freya in "Merlin" so I doubt that with two episodes left they're going to have Morgana have a sudden change of heart and take Arthur to Avalon. Especially when she's screaming about wanting him dead as seen in the trailer.

I just want Morgana to get some love and find redemption in it, is that too much to ask? I don't want her to die alone and bitter and hated by those she once loved :(
i see where you are coming from but katie her self has hinted that "morganna redeems her self to a degree" towards the end. also trailers always place things out of context and her screaming "i want him dead!" could just as easily be about merlin who she has expressed a wish to kill before, shes always wanted arthurs throne and killing him is a means to an end. merlin, she wants out of the way aka dead. we'll have to wait and see.
