      Thank you! I had this idea for awhile and finally got around to filming at various locations. Usually I do a voiceover but I am not too knowledgeable on sea life, so I kept it silent.

    A great job. Liked the comment about scuba diving. Ha Ha! We'll be in Gold Beach sometime in October so I might do my own tide pool video, Got a new Nikon mirrorless plus 5 videos to edit and upload so keeping real busy. Thanks for sharing the tide pool video, it was awesome!!! Won't be using the new Nikon for any underwater work!

    • @MattCookOregon

    • @lynnnorthrup8914
      @lynnnorthrup8914 3 года назад +1

      @@MattCookOregon I decided on the Z50 because it was much lighter to carry hiking than the Z6 and since I already had a Nikon D7100 with all the lenses for images. A crop factor but essentially the same as a Z6 with 4K video and ability to shoot at 11 frames a second for sports and wildlife. It uses the Snapbridge app so I can control the camera from my phone for vlogging. I got the two kit lenses (16-50 and 50-250) and the images are sharp right out of the camera. I got it setup so I can take the drone, GoPro, and Nikon hiking with no effort and not much weight. I also have the Rode Video Mic for it. Happy with the set up so far. Now I have to get busy and edit a whole bunch of footage and images. HaHA!

      @@MattCookOregon go pros are pretty good with good light, all my videos are made with go pro7. i imagine a 1 hour long video showing the life in there, but that mayby would a bit too niche ahaha i know i would watch it xd

    • @MattCookOregon
      @MattCookOregon  2 года назад

      @@riverdweller3208 Yep they gotta have good light. I feel mine has some pixelation problems when looking closely. I have thought about relaxing hour long videos, like a waterfall still or whatever. I feel my channel is more known for being jam packed with education and adventure so it might not fit in well. Maybe a 2nd channel would be good.
