Pitch Height Determines Finish Swing Height | Drive It More Consistent

Higher pitches will results with a more flat finish even though it will still be elevated. Lower pitches will result in a higher finish. Use a dummy punching bag to work on staying through the ball and finish your swing higher. Many times when players finish their swing with hands low the cause is due to rolling hands. Trying to finish above the dummy bag will help you stay through the ball and on plane longer.
Understand that getting to higher or lower pitch planes with your bat path is directed from the tilt of your body and not the level of the hands/arms. Try getting to different pitch heights with a pvc pipe on your elbows and adjusting your side bend at the waist.
Get on plane and stay on plane longer with these drills.
