I have watched a lot of videos on excel formulas and vba macros, and you are by far the best at explaining these concepts and methods in a way that sticks. When I'm writing formulas or macros, I hear you in my head -- like when I'm writing an Index Match formula. Thank you for all of your wonderful videos! ♡
I just ran across this video while searching for something else. It so happened that I needed to do this very thing in my current project. I don't believe I would have been imaginative enough to record absolute and relative in one procedure. Not only does it get the job done, it is simple and uncluttered. This was a big help. Thanks again L!
No doubt its a Great work, Till today I use the below technique to perform this job Range("A8").Select Selection.End(xlDown).Select a = ActiveCell.Column b = ActiveCell.Row Cells(b + 1, a).Select
Awesome Explanation. Many months before i started learning VBA Excel but couldn't successful because explanation of that man was not looked professional and he use just Inputbox and msgbox to show results of coding. Now you are teaching EXCEL VBA and i hope, i will learn perfectly and professionally. as i learned before INDEX, match, offset and their techniques to use. Thank You so much for great Explanations.
Thank you Fahad! I'm very glad to hear you find the explanations easy to follow. It took me a while to add VBA to my courses, because like you say, it's a difficult topic to teach. It took a lot of thinking in creating and defining the outline and flow of the course. I'll share what I can on RUclips as well. Just now I posted a video regarding range references. If you're interested, check it out. Wish you all the best with your learning.
Thank You so much for suggesting. Last night i saw all your 3 videos on VBA and also practiced. You cover many important things as for beginners. I didn't learn many month ago enough that you cover in one video. Keep it up. Great Work. Very Happy To Learn By You.
Hi Leila, thank you for so much you are the best teacher we can ever have... I love this channel a lot... i learned many things from you channel and download the sheets and working on it every day.. God bless you abundence

Hey Leila. Thanks for sharing this awesome knowledge. Not only does it help me in my work but it seems i look forward to learning with you and every day I learn something new. You are also very pretty. Keep it up
start learning power query , I use to download several spreadsheets about 35 each month and copy it to the spreadsheets by customer. it took me a lot of work to automate The process!! With macros and ChatGPT ! I have a macro that ask me what file to open and where to copy them and then ask me if I want to save the file and if I want to open a new one. Before power query I had a formula to take care of the variable of the size of the different sheets. Started on a new payroll proyects using power query and macros and its a lot more faster. Dont worry no more on the size of the worksheet, with the tables of power quey Thank You Leila !
Seriously You are Amazing in explaining in detail. Thank you for doing such a noble Job.I have seen many excel tutorial but your explanation worth watching and entertaining.
Awesome! Although you missed to teach or show how to remove the range referencing to A1 for relative macro recording. And you are right, it still works.
Very useful tutorial. It will be further useful if could put another tutorial for how to copy data from summary sheet to different sheets based on some criteria using VBA
Amazing Leila. I am not much into Macro recording. I am more of a formula person thanks to Mike :) but this was very interesting and I will surely follow your coming videos to learn new staff, maybe I will learn some VBA from you. Thanks
You're very welcome John! I understand - I love formulas too. Macros are really great though for automating routine tasks. I'm curious what you think about the next videos...
Thanks a lot ❤️❤️❤️ .. I was struggling with one error & didn't know how to find solution inspite of doing everything right. Seeing this video I realised my mistake.
What VBA is: VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) is programming language for all office applications. It is still something that should be learned and can easily differentiate you from other Excel users. You can automate the recurring tasks, which you do regularly and repeatedly, through basic VBA programming. Each of the office products has its backstage for programming. You can make EVENTS for any of the Commands that you see on the front-end Ribbon menu. EVENTS are the series of commands written in VBA project. Automation through VBA: The owner of 20 hotels has revenue data for the year to date 2020. He needs to view monthly data by hotels at a glance and needs to create a Chart for this. If his Excel operator knows to work only at the user interface, the front-end of Excel, then it will take two hours or more for him to consolidate data from several sheets and take to a pivot source and then make a pivot table and a pivot chart. Whereas this can be automated in VBA and can be used later just on click. Here is an example of this automation which you may like to watch. facebook.com/VBA-Expert-Momtaz-103391721501133/
Thank you very much for your help! It was so easy once I saw your video! I was looking for a solution for 2 days and I found just what I needed with this video!
Hi, thanks for all the great excel training videos. I recorded a macro to execute formatting I apply to a report I recieve multiple times a day. One of the formatting I apply is insert table, but the macro fails to input the table because the # of rows for each report vary - sometimes it's more or less. How can I write the macro so the code updates to the relative # of rows? Thanks.
i have seen many videos of your its which have help me save lot of time , now if we have lots of data and transfering that data partywise to another sheet but if that data is more then 1 page i want to show that data head to all the other pages also
You explain topics nicely and fluently. I want to know that is there any plan of Microsoft corporation that excel will handle big data? By big data, I mean data records in millions.
I like the way you teach us with a pure calmness on your face showing how easy it was. However, I need a complex job for this macro to perform. I have libreoffice in linux and I copy some data from one sheet and paste into another one opened separately which called "invoice" and it has a list of hundreds of invoices. when i put data from the summary sheet to the invoice sheet, I give it a sequenced numeric name and press F12 to "save as" and start editing the next sheet by copying some data from the summary sheet and paste it in the invoice sheet and press F12 to ''save as'' and give a name by increasing the last digit of the invoice' name . I want it to automate for me. how can I do that?
Currently, taking your Excel VBA course. So far i am thoroughly enjoying the course. I am also interested in web scraping with VBA. Can you make any tutorial or course on that.

Range("A8").Select
Selection.End(xlDown).Select
a = ActiveCell.Column
b = ActiveCell.Row
Cells(b + 1, a).Select
This is a great explanation. This is what I needed. You explain the differences and logic of how they work.
