I had a character who I gave a 'placeholder name' of Lt. Commander Stokely. (Changed it to a better name). Hemingway considered 'Stokely' an adverb. Apparently their genius sophisticated algorithm is based on thinking any word that ends in 'ly' must be an adverb.
You get what you pay for, or maybe a lot less.

Most writers I know use Grammarly premium. 30$ per month is honestly way too much for this. But then again I have yet to experience how far premium goes. But it's still a lot considering if you have other subscription services you have to pay for... I've also seem writers use Grammarly with Quilbot as replacing Hemingway Editor and they seem to prefer Quilbot a lot more.
