She’s a fellow Canadian whom I actually met once for about 30 minutes when she was touring her first English speaking album in the early 1990s. She’d had some success with French speaking albums released before her English career took off. She was delightfully funny and charming and was just honing her English communication skills. It’s a memory I hold dear.
