Just uploaded a video of the Golden Circle as well! Such a beautiful country. We went in the summer so it's so cool to see the same spots are just as gorgeous in the winter.
HiErik, this is neat work and nice travel. I see that in November you did not opt in for 4WD. We will visit late December this year and plan to make th Golden Circle and also towards Vik. I believe VW Golf (2WD) will do it fine but perhaps you can share some of your observations in terms of road conditions with me. Thanks.
Hi Ethem, we actually did rent a 4WD, but due to fairly nice weather conditions we did not really need it. The roads were good on our trip with only some areas with hard snow on the road. But its all about the weather forecast, especially the wind. You need to check it carefully before you go. If high winds the white-outs will be to fierce and you will see nothing. They might also close the roads when this happens.
Hello. Great video. I am planning to visit end of Sep 2019 early week of October 2019. Do you know if it will be bad weather? Also did you experience the northern light?
thanks@@erikssc; do you have some general recommendation for shoes? i believe warm boots (waterproof) is necessary but I want to be comfortable driving. what kind of shoes do you wear?
Beautiful film. Thank you.

Hi do you need a 4 wheel drive / high ground clearance to make the trip ?
Thanks
Hi, it all depends on the weather. We had a small 4WD on this trip, but did not really need it as the weather was fairly good.

I used some warm timberland boots as far as I can remember. No problem driving in those.
Did they ask tickets to visit those places ? :)
Some of the places you have to pay.
awesome, it's like a dreamland, how much was the budget for the trip? great video by the way
Hi, well we didn't have a set budget, but all i can say is that Iceland is very expensive country even for us Norwegians who are used to high prices.
Is it just me or is gullfoss super windy
It was, yes :).
Amazing video thank you! What month did you go? We are going in January and wondering if westfjords and north islands will be accessible. Cheers
Thanks! We went in November only for a long weekend, so not sure about whether those other places will be accessible.
Going in a month looks nice
