  • Is there a true one tool option for survival, or should there be multiple tools. What do you think, and what 3 tools would you pick?

The TOPS Tahoma Field Knife is a great one-tool-option.
If you like a smaller knife, the TOPS Brakimo is a fantastic knife.

Many folks I know consider a machete or a kukri as the best “survival” tool.
I have a couple of knives that I consider my “one tool option”.
Meaning, if I can only have one knife with me, this is it…
First is my TOPS Armageddon, which is my favorite knife.
The other is my TOPS Tahoma Field Knife.
I’ve used both of these knives to do big-knife and small-knife duties, such as process firewood, build a shelter, and scale fish.
Having a small knife companion makes life easier though. Two of my favorite small-knife-companions are the TOPS Brakimo, and the TOPS Light Trekker. Another good option is the Gerber Strongarm.
Personally, I like a three-blade system; a large chopper, a medium camp knife, and a “spear” knife.
There are two combinations that I like to carry; first is the TOPS Armageddon, the Brakimo, and the Condor Matagi.
And the second is a TOPS Tahoma Field Knife, a Lite Trekker, and the Cold Steel Bushman.
When I’m miles into the wilderness, and there are bears around, I just feel better carrying a spear. They work great for hogs too.
I also like to carry a small axe or hatchet. Or maybe a tomahawk.

Thanks for watching and sharing some of your favorite combinations. It's always nice to get feedback from viewers and hear their opinions and thoughts. It definitely helps me learn new things.
